THIS GOSPEL OF THE KINGOM                 “And this Gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a witness to all nations and then the end shall come.” Mt. 24:14                 What is the Gospel of the Kingdom? We get a clue in Mt. 4:23 where it says: “And Jesus was going about in all Galilee teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness among the people.”                 In other words, Jesus ministry on earth consisted of: 1.        Teaching the principles of the kingdom 2.        Demonstrating the powers of the kingdom                 The plan of salvation then basically involves the restoration of everything Adam lost in the fall. In the fall Adam lost several major things: 1.        He had been created as a temple of God, but He lost that when He chose Satan as his new god. THINKING THE UNTHINKABLE                 Is it possible to be cursed with blessings? Well… yes it is. Think of someone who is blessed with great riches as he wins the lottery or receives an inheritance. It is a great blessing as far as he is concerned, but in time his riches lead him into a profligate lifestyle that brings his life to ultimate ruin. In his case his blessings have become a curse.                 On the following subject I have gone back and forth, both for and against and sometimes for and against at the same time. But man’s ability to fly had to wait for oil to be discovered, then the refining process that would turn it into gas and then the invention of the combustion engine and so on. MY DILEMMA                 Some people say that President Trump is a ploy of the devil and a puppet of the New World Order and a danger to both America and Israel, while others say that He is a God appointed Cyrus sent to give America one more chance, to restore righteousness, to overturn sinful laws passed by the last administration, restore our God appointed relationship with Israel and to provide on last respite for America to change her ways before judgment comes.                 Now, there are prophets and prophecy students on both sides of this issue that I deeply respect and as usual I am caught somewhere in the middle. INTIMATE FRIENDSHIP                 “The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous and His ears are open to their cry. The face of the Lord is against evildoers to cut off the memory of them from the earth. The righteous cry and the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. BY WAY OF EXPLANATION                 “As for the ten horns out of this kingdom ten kings will arise; and another will arise after them and he will be different from the previous ones and will subdue three kings. THINGS WE PAY FOR                 A Couple of days ago I was mowing my lawn and decided to extend it a few feet closer to the woods. (Bad idea) I ran over a yellow jacket’s nest in the ground and suddenly found myself as the center of attention in a swarm of bees. I left the mower and ran about 50 feet swatting these little demons off of me. I was only wearing shorts and a tee shirt and so they had free access to my legs and arms.                 Long story short I ended up with only 8 stings and so I went to the house and took a couple of allergy pills and mixed up a little baking soda with water to neutralize whatever acid the stings left behind. Fortunately I am not allergic to bee stings but it was hard to sleep that night and I can still feel them a bit after 2 days. I am planning revenge.                 If only sin was like yellow jackets, we would learn more quickly what not to do in life. Unfortunately some of the things we do we may not pay for right away.
