A PLANET IN TROUBLE

A PLANET IN TROUBLE                 “And there will be signs in the sun and moon and stars and upon the earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at eh roaring of the sea and the waves, men fainting from fear and the expectation of the thing which are coming upon the world for the powers of the heavens will be shaken                 Our planet is in much deeper trouble than most people know. Main stream media is not covering most of what happens simply because it points to Bible prophecy and they don’t want to wake the masses up, or to cause widespread panic. In truth nobody should be living within a hundred miles of any of our coastlines and yet there are problems inland as well.                 Earthquakes and volcanos are increasing in frequ...

A DIRECT CORRELATION

THE DIRECT CORRELATION                 Do you believe in global warming? I do. But I don’t buy Al Gore’s model of blaming it on our SUVS and such. I once read that if we parked all the cars and shut down all of the factories in the world, it would only make about a 2% difference in our environment.                 No we are dealing with something much bigger than that… something that involves our entire solar system and if we really want to understand what is going on, our best information will be found in the Bible.                 People scoff out loud if you mention that we are facing the judgments of God, but that is because they don’t understand how the judgments of God work. The truth is that there is a direct correlation between the spir...

GREATNESS

GREATNESS                 The highest and most exalted position that a person can attain to in this life is to be where God wants you too be, doing what He has called you to do.                 The highest destiny that a person can reach for in this life is to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.                 “For whom He foreknew He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son that He might be the first-born among many brethren and whom He predestined, these He also called; and whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified He also glorified.” Romans 8:29, 30                 As we can see from this text, it is all done ...

INTO THE GLORY

INTO THE GLORY                 “For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the first-born among many brethren.” Romans 8:29                 “Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12: 1, 2.                 Now let us put these two texts together to gain a glimpse of something so grand that it should wake up our innermost being to g...

HUMILITY

HUMILITY                 Humility is not thinking less of yourself; but thinking more of others.                 Did you know that the lowly donkey is the only un-kosher animal in Israel that could be redeemed by a lamb? Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a lowly Donkey. He did not come the first time to conquer the world, but to redeem that which was lost.                 When He returns He will be on a white stallion and this time He will come as a conqueror to set up His kingdom and to reign as King of kings and Lord of lords.

THE ANATOMY OF PRAYER

THE ANATOMY OF PRAYER                 When it comes to Bible study and prayer, God most definitely wanted us to use our imaginations. Jesus taught us the principles of His kingdom in parables and stories, lost coins, lost sheep, lost sons, seeds and soil… Jesus taught in word pictures so as to engage our imaginations. He wanted us not only to know the facts, but to experience truth. That which we learn we often forget, but that which we experience will stay with us for a lifetime.                 Truth in the Old Testament was given in types and shadows, visual aids that would plant the foundations of salvation deep within their hearts and the heart is best reached by imagination. We can only experience that which we can picture and since God’s kingdom is spiritual and invisible to us, imagination is the only way that we can pict...
