WHAT IS GOD TELLING US?                 I believe that God has been writing definite messages to us in the heavens over the past few years. We can read them or ignore them.                 Is God judging America? Yes I think so and as such, we have only seen the beginning of it. IS God picking on Houston? No. We have to look at case histories of judgment in the bible for clues. God brings judgment upon nations (especially nations that He has blessed abundantly and called according to His purposes). If that chosen nation then turns away from Him and begins to worship other gods, or act in rebellion, or follow the ways of Sodom and Gomorrah.   Then God brings judgment. Sometimes His judgments are remedial and sometimes He brings them to an end. THE DESTINY OF GRACE                 “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works that any one should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:8-10                 So few Christians have any idea of the destiny to which grace is calling us. They avoid works like the plague not realizing that we are not doing what we do to earn salvation. We are in training for positions in glory that only a few can even begin to imagine.                 In the old days we used to have to stop at a service station and pick up a map, which when unfolded filled the whole inside of the car and we would look on the ledger on the back for a grid location, say N-14 and then we would find our address and we would then plot a course through the maze that would get us to our destination.                 Nowadays we

HOUSTON; WE HAVE A PROBLEM                 I don’t think it has sunk into our national mind yet just how big of a problem this hurricane on the southern coast really is. This one really is apocalyptic in nature. With 83% of the refineries shut down, how long do we think it will be until truck fuel and jet fuel and car fuel begin to run out? This has the potential of causing all of our store shelves to go empty in time.                 I think they said that Houston is the 4 th largest city in America. It is a port city and so when you basically shut down a city of that size, it will affect the economy            of the nation. And when you think of the time it will take to get Houston up and running again… well, that is going to be a while. How do you keep 6 million people in food and water and housing? THE MEANING OF REVELATION 12 (Part 2)                 At the outset of part 2 I would like to reemphasize the fact that I am not making predictions or setting dates. I am only dealing here (As Kevin suggested) with the “What ifs and each of us must decide for ourselves what the signs may mean and whether or not to take them seriously.                 In part one we gave biblical support for these signs actually occurring in the heavens rather than being allegorical. After all, God said right from the beginning that He created the sun, moon and stars for signs and for Moedim ( appointed times)   Gen. 1:14 and then He gave Israel the Feast Days also known as Moedim so that when these signs fall upon these Moedim they tell both Israel and the world something important.                 Now we are going to deal with the man child that is born of the woman. WHAT IS THE MESSAGE OF REVELATION 12? (Part One)                 What is the real message of Revelation 12? Traditionally our understanding of it has been quite limited. It has been argued back and forth as to whether it represented Mary giving birth to Jesus, or Israel giving birth to the church. I’m sure there are elements of both of these in there, but in truth it is presented in the book of Revelation as a future event… as something within the flow of end time events that carries us into the very kingdom of the Beast and to the coming of the Lord.                 Nowadays a new interpretation has been popping up that is altogether different. Because of technologies that now exist; we can trace the formation and placement of the sun, moon and stars both forward and backward for thousands of years just like turning the hands on a giant clock. So you add to that our restored awareness of God’s appointed feast days and significant prophetic patterns in the sun, moon and stars

TRANSFIGURED                 “And six days later, Jesus took with Him Peter and James and John his brother and brought them up to a high mountain by themselves, and He was transfigured before them; and His face shone like the sun and His garments became as white as light and behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them talking with Him.” Mt. 17: 1, 2.                 This is one of those mysterious incidents that happened in the life of Jesus. We wish that they had said more about it. Why did it happen and what was its purpose? Was this something Jesus needed to experience before His coming death? Did this revealing of His real glorified self strengthen Him? Or was it for the disciples that His glory was revealed so that they could tell us about it?                 One thing is certain, John didn’t miss the meaning of this experience when He said in John 1:14; “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten of the Father, ful
