ANCIENT MYSTERIES REVEALED

                As we near the end of time God is beginning to reveal ancient mysteries to us that have long been hidden in the sands of time. It is almost as though God has said that some things are on a need to know basis and that we, the final generation need to know. We need to understand why things are the way they are and why certain issues have come to the fore in our day.

                If you will look in your King James Bible at Psalms 48, my Bible has in small print at the top of the chapter “Ornaments and privileges of the church.” Really? Is Psalm 48 really talking about the church? Were the sons of Korah singing about the church that was yet some 3000 years away? Give me a break. Let’s read the text:

                “Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised in the city of our God in the mountain of his holiness. Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.” Ps. 48:1-2.

                I remember as a young person singing an old hymn called, “We’re Marching upward to Zion” and never once did we picture this as talking about anything but heaven. But the sons of Korah were not talking about heaven. They were talking about Jerusalem in Israel and mount Zion in Jerusalem and they called it the joy of the whole earth… not a location away off in heaven in some distant galaxy.

                In other words, replacement theology has caused the church to abandon Israel as the land of God and Jerusalem as the city of God and so most of the church today has absolutely no idea why Israel and particularly Jerusalem happen to be the center of the world’s attention today.

                We have a precedent. For instance the angel told Daniel that his prophecies pertained to the very end of time and that they would not be unsealed until the end of time. So there IS information in the Bible that is on a need to know basis and we who live in the end time are the ones that need to know. We need to understand why Israel and Jerusalem are the hottest topic in the world today. Why is that tiny little ancient piece of real estate that most people can’t even find on a map the center of the world’s attention?

                Well, scholarship in the realm of ancient biblical languages and biblical archeology are beginning to create a picture for us today that explains a lot that many church people and biblical scholars have not understood. For instance:

                Evolution has placed the cradle of civilization somewhere in Africa with the oldest humans being seen as coming from Africa. But recently they have found even older human remains guess where? In Israel… in a location just 40 miles north of Jerusalem. This proves the Bible right. Man’s origins were in Eden in the Promised Land and not in some distant country.

                Not only that but ancient Jewish sages and ancient Jewish writings taught that the Garden of Eden was situated in the Holy Land and more specifically on the mountain of God… Mt. Zion.

                The Garden of Eden is where Satan tempted first man to defect from his Creator, to choose his own will over God’s will. This horrible act took place right on God’s holy mountain. It took place right where God would lead Abraham to offer his only son as a sacrifice. It is on that mountain that Abraham told his son that God would provide a Lamb. It was on that mountain that David would raise up the tabernacle of David and that later Solomon would build the first Temple.

                It should have been a clue to us that the city of Adam as it is known was on the Jordon River somewhere north of Jericho and the Bible tells us that the waters of the Jordon backed up all the way to the city of Adam when Israel crossed over into the Promised Land. How significant is that? The tide of humanity goes all the way back to Adam and we are all children of fallen Adam and therefore children of Satan. The only way into the Promised Land is through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ… and all of humanity is backed up all the way to Adam for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. Joshua 3:16 (Tradition states that Adam built this city after he was driven from the Garden.)

                And it is very possible that Jesus, in the Garden of Gethsemane went to the very spot where Adam and Eve had chosen the will of the enemy and there on that spot Jesus sweat great drops of blood and he reversed the cursed by saying in that very place. “Not My Will but Thine be done.” And Jesus was crucified just outside the city on the very place where Abraham offered His son.

                We often picture heaven as being in some far distant galaxy on the other side of the universe, but the ancient Jewish sages didn’t see it that way. They saw the earthly Mount Zion and the heavenly or celestial Mt. Zion as occupying the same location only in different dimensions. God holds His heavenly council on Mt. Zion. When He said “Let us make man in our image” he was conferring with his heavenly council, the sons of God and so we share something with the angels, we too are made in the image of God, they being spirit only and we being both spirit and flesh. We were a new model so to speak, a being uniquely created to occupy and to manage God’s physical creation. We are both spirit and flesh.

                So the great treason of Eden was that we gave up our spiritual being… our image of God and became children of Satan and it is that which we gave up that Jesus came to restore to us. He came to bring back the Spirit of God for those who are willing to die to this fallen self and to be filled with His Spirit and to begin to live by that heavenly Spirit rather than by our fallen flesh and that is what salvation is all about. Jesus is the new Tree of Life. He brings back what Adam lost in the fall and what he lost was his godly spiritual nature. This is why it is such a key issue to receive the Holy Spirit when we are saved. It is His Spirit that Jesus has restored to us. Should we not then make the Holy Spirit the central focus of our life and our redemption? Some churches focus on Spirit and some focus on Truth, but we need both in equal proportion.

                So why are the land of Israel and the city of Jerusalem embroiled in such a hot contest today? It is because Eden is where Satan won ownership of this world and the human race and it is Eden that Satan refuses to give up. It is in Eden on the very mountain of God that Satan takes his last stand and builds his final kingdom in defiance of God. The mountain of God, Mt. Zion is where it all started and it is where it will all end. Even the final battle of Armageddon is fought over that city in the land of Israel.

                Are you beginning to get the picture? Can you not see that the forces of good and evil are pitted against each other and that the land of Israel is at the epi-center of this great battle? The globalists are admittedly Luciferians. They are standing with Satan to build the final global kingdom in the very center of earth’s most highly contested spot. This is why everyone from the Pope, to the Free Masons, to the globalist leaders to the Muslims and the rest of humanity are all converged upon this one spot.

                Take note if you will that the Muslims have placed their Dome of the rock upon the very rock on which the Ark of the Covenant once stood. Not only that, but an inscription on the Dome of the Rock declares this to be the foundation stone of Eden. Do you think that Satan doesn’t know what he has done?

                Just a few years ago, Pope Benedict went to Jerusalem. They kicked the Jews and visitors out of the tomb of King David and they held a ceremony there where the Pope sat on the throne of David, wearing his triple crown as his prelates declared him to be the king of Jerusalem. Later Pope Francis visited there and held a celebration of the Eucharist in the same tomb of David. So the Catholic Eucharist has to be a blasphemy of the true Son of God and His sacrifice in some way.

                So when churches teach that Israel is no longer an issue with God and that He simply divorced Israel and married the church instead, they participate in the blasphemies that are now taking place in this great conflict between Christ and Satan. They smear the character of God who has said that His covenants are forever and irrevocable. He has not abandoned the Remnant of Israel and Romans 11 tells us that God has a plan to redeem them and that He will use the Time of Jacob’s trouble to bring them to reconciliation with their Messiah Yeshua.

                This event for the Jews is said to happen when the fullness of the Gentiles has come in and until them a partial blindness has been imposed upon them by God. Neither the world nor the church seems to understand these issues and therefore we too are blind.

                It is going to go hard on the Jews of course for they will first of all receive the antichrist as their messiah, but that is a part of the plan. It is in their bitter disappointment when the antichrist proves to be an imposter that they will turn to the Lord and be saved.

                This is fundamental theology 101. Paul explains it all to us in graphic detail and yet much of the church remains ignorant of it because of false traditions and they don’t understand what is going on and why Israel is at the epi-center of this final battle. Satan is fighting for his territory in the very land that rightfully belongs to God. He stole it from Adam and Eve and from humanity, but as His final act, Jesus is going to come to the battle of Armageddon and defeat the armies arrayed against Jerusalem there and He is going to march into Jerusalem and take up His millennial reign.

                The final war is not about heaven. God already owns heaven and Satan has been kicked out of there. The final battles have to do with this earth. It is this earth that Satan stole and it is this earth that Jesus came to redeem and it is on this earth that He is going to set up His millennial kingdom and He is going to literally restore all that was lost in the fall and He is going to restore the Garden of Eden and He is going to reverse the curse and He is going to bring us back into His original plan so that it will continue on as if Satan never put a bump in the road.

                God’s eternal purposes will be fulfilled and it is not about heaven. It is about this earth and our ultimate goal is not to go to heaven, but for heaven to come to earth as the two dimensions are healed and reunited once again as they were in Eden before the fall.

                When Adam and Eve sinned, heaven and earth… the physical and the spiritual realms had to separate and as they did, entropy and death became the lot of this physical universe. But likewise when the kingdom of heaven is restored and heaven and earth are once again united, the entire universe will become eternal once again and life and peace will be restored to God’s physical universe.

                As for us, we have choices to make as to which kingdom, which spirit or Spirit we will live by. In Christ we change kingdoms right now… but we are in the process of learning how to live by the Holy Spirit and not by our fallen flesh. Do you get the issues now? Do you understand the conflict within your own soul as well as the conflict going on in this world?

                Get a picture of it if you can, for it will help you to better understand the issues and to better face the controversies of your own soul as we learn how to make Jesus the Lord of our lives. And it will help us to better understand the great contest that is going on over Jerusalem and who rightly belongs there. In truth it belongs to those who belong to Yeshua for Jerusalem is the city of the Great King and Jesus/ Yeshua is that Great King. In Him heaven and earth are united. In Him we are restored to God’s original eternal plan. He is the rightful King of the Jews and King of the Universe.
