THE 6000 YEAR WAR

THE 6000 YEAR WAR

Look for Israel on a map. If you don’t know where it is or what to look for you will be hard-pressed to find it. And when, with magnifying glass in hand, you finally locate it the first thing that becomes laughable is that the whole world wants Israel to give up land for peace. They must be joking right?

So, why is this tiny little state in the news every day and why does it seem to be the focal point of earth’s tensions? For those who don’t really understand the issues, we must provide a little background.

The war began just outside the Garden of Eden, where Adam and Eve had listened to the serpent instead of God and thinking to become gods, they had disobeyed the God of heaven and lost their God given dominion over this planet. God had created mankind to have dominion over the works of His hands and yet, Satan (The fallen angel Lucifer) with a few lies was able to wrest the title deed of the earth away from Adam and Eve, thus separating them from their life-Source, bringing spiritual death and disconnection from their Creator.

God threw down the gauntlet with Satan on that day, promising that He would redeem man and restore ownership of the planet back to mankind. The problem was that the title deed had been lost by a man and it would take a man to redeem it back, but no such man could be found, not one who with power to take it back as well as to reverse the curse of separation and death that Adam’s treason had brought. God Himself could be the only One to buy the world back, but He must do it as a man.

The war actually started in Genesis 3:15 when God said to Satan: “I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head and you shall bruise him on the heel.” Gen. 3:15

So the whole of humanity would be involved in this war. The whole world now belonged to Satan and so most of its indigenes population would naturally side with Satan. Those who followed God would have to understand the situation and choose to do so, even while living in enemy territory.

So first of all God would have to create a chosen nation and a chosen people through whom He could come into the world. It could not be a pagan nation, defiled as Nimrod’s nation was with the worship of Satan himself and the fallen angels that had followed him in the rebellion. So God would have to create a nation separate and distinct and holy through which He could bring forth the Messiah.

Shortly after Noah’s flood, God called a man out of Nimrod’s Babylonian kingdom and promised to make him into a mighty nation that would bless all of the other nations of the world. This, in itself took a miracle because this man’s (Abram’s) wife was barren and she did not conceive until they were well - nigh a hundred years old.

It took about 450 years for Israel grow into a nation of a million and a half or so people, but by then they were in slavery in Egypt, so God would first have to deliver them from slavery and then teach them His ways. This is where the Law on Mt. Sinai comes in along with the tabernacle and the feast days and all that went into teaching Israel His ways. In this way He would set them apart from all pagan nations and create pictures so to speak of the plan of salvation so that the entire world thereafter would be able to comprehend the plan.

In the fullness of time the Messiah was born into the human race. His own people rejected Him and He was crucified. But He rose from the dead and as it turned out, it was through His death and resurrection that He had planned to redeem the world in the first place, paying the ransom for Adam’s and humanity’s sin and buying back the planet which Adam had lost.

We all pretty much know the story from that point onward, for now humans, if they want to be a part of the redemption, must choose Yeshua, the Messiah of the Jews in order to enter into the plan. There can be only one Person through which the world must be saved and it is that one Person who was the Creator God. And He, having entered the world through the womb of Mary, a young Jewish girl from the tribe of Judah, would be not only Israel’s Messiah, but in time, the Savior of the whole world.

One would think that from that point on, the big war over the tiny state of Israel would fade away, replaced by bigger issues, but there is one problem. God did not give up on the Jewish people. He did not replace the Jews with Christians; rather He grafted Christians into His chosen nation Israel. We find this in Romans chapter eleven. And not only does salvation come through the Jews, their Messiah, and our Savior Yeshua is planning to come back to the tiny land of Israel and to restore this planet, defeating Satan and his followers and bringing the entire earth and His people into His originally planned dominion.

Mankind must be restored to what he was before the rebellion and mankind must re-learn how to manage this world according to eternal principles. And for this, Yeshua Himself will return to the tiny land of Israel and to His eternal city Jerusalem and He will reign with His chosen people, both Christians and Jews for 1000 years. Then after properly training us in the ways of eternity, He will create a new heaven and a new earth where God and His people will dwell together for eternity. Heaven and earth will be joined into one, and sin, sorrow and death will be removed forever.

So now we get a small peek into why the controversy rages in our day over the land of Israel. Yeshua is going to reign over Jerusalem for 1000 years and Satan and his people are not willing g to give it up. For one thing, they want God’s people; the Jews completely wiped out and removed from the land. Secondly, they want to wipe from the face of the earth all who have chosen Yeshua as their Messiah. Those who belong to Yeshuah are a major threat to Satan and His global plans.

Satan wants to reign as the god of this world. He wants to reign in the place of Christ and of course he wants Israel and particularly Jerusalem as his own since it is the very place from which the Messiah will reign in the coming kingdom. This is why he will one day enter into the rebuilt temple in Jerusalem and declare himself to be God  and he will deceive many.

As we look around the world today, if we understand the issues, it is pretty easy to see the difference between those who are choosing Yeshua as their King and those who have chosen Lucifer. The entire globalist cabal represents Satan’s final effort to rule the world in the place of Christ and from Bible prophecy we see that he will do so through a person called the “Antichrist” and he will seek to annihilate all of the followers of Yeshua and to force all who live on this planet to worship him and his image. We see the false prophet (whom I believe to be Pope Francis) as he rallies all of the religions in the world into one global religion to worship the Beast of Revelation 13.

The final showdown is on and the pressure is growing mightily because the return of Yeshua is drawing near and so Satan is doubling his efforts to set up his global kingdom in defiance of Yeshua.

There can be only one reason why Israel is the object of such controversy today. We can see the players as they try to negotiate land for peace, but in the invisible realm this is the climax of a battle between Christ and Satan in which the winner takes all.

So, it should be of some relief to us when it declares in Revelation 12:9-12 saying: “And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth and his angels were thrown down with him. And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, who accuses them before God day and night. And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony and they did not love their lives even to death.”

So we who have sided with Jesus Christ in this battle are very much a part of the action in these last days. That which Jesus bought for us on Calvary we must take possession of for we are to reign with Christ here on earth for 1000 years and as such we are in training, not only to put away Satan’s lies and temptations, but to stand our ground until Yeshua returns to set up His kingdom.

For those who overcome Yeshua promises to return and to catch us away to the marriage supper of the Lamb. For just as God prepared a Bride for Adam in the beginning, so He has also prepared a Bride for His Son, so that all who receive Him will become one Body in Christ… flesh of His flesh and bone of His bone.

Satan is seeking to form his own global unity by force. We are surrounded by this globalist regime today. In politics, in entertainment, in the news media and in every venue, we see the satanic push toward globalism and the kingdom of the Beast. But those who are being formed into the Body of Christ have chosen to do so because of love. We are increasingly hated by the world.

So this battle over Jerusalem is coming to a head in our day and in the end every person on the planet will either be part of the globalist kingdom of the Beast, or they will be a part of the Bride and Body of Christ who will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air at His return.  (Rev. 13:8, 1 Cor. 15:51-53)Then after a 3 ½ year or 7 year wedding feast in heaven, we will return with Yeshua to destroy the armies that have been arrayed against Israel and her people and then Christ will take up His millennial reign from Jerusalem  the eternal city of the Great King. (Zech. 14:5, Rev. 19:14-16, Rev. 20:4, Psalms 48:1, 2)

This is why the Feast Days are coming into prominence today. Jesus fulfilled the spring feasts perfectly at His first coming, but the fall feasts outline the events that He will fulfill at His second coming.      The feast of Trumpets announces the return of the Messiah for His bride. The Feast of the Day of Atonement announces the Time of Jacob’s Trouble through which Israel will come to receive their true Messiah, as well as God’s judgment of the world, and the Feast of Tabernacles announces Yeshua’s return with His saints to tabernacle among men and to rule the nations for 1000 years, bringing restoration and eternal salvation to this planet and to all who have loved His appearing.(Acts 1:6, Mt. 17:11, Zech. 14, Rev 20:4, Rev. 11:17, Ez. 39:1-8,21-29 to name a few)

For those of us chosen of God to be alive in this final chapter of earth’s history, there are tough choices to be made. We must come fully out of Satan’s kingdom and its ways. We must overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony. We must choose obedience to God… to live by His Spirit rather than by our fallen flesh. We must be filled up with all the fullness of God so that we can become like Yeshua. (Eph. 4:10-14, Eph. 3:19, 20, 1 Thess. 5:23) He is looking for a Bride of His own kind… a Bride that only has eyes for Him.

I hope that in some way, you have been able to gain a panoramic view of the issues we face today and why things are the way they are. We need these perspectives in order to understand the choices we must make and the side we must be on in earth’s final battles.

The issues are made complex by the fact that Israel itself is divided between globalist plans and God’s plans. Satan has done everything in his power to corrupt Israel and to overcome her with such sin and degradation that she will be easily conquered and destroyed.

But just as in Christendom, God has a remnant people who have not bowed down to Baal and it is for that Remnant that Christ will return. So as we follow the heated issues in the Middle East, we must always maintain in our minds, God’s perspective. The issues in Israel have become horribly distorted since people don’t understand for instance that the Vatican, a supposedly Christian entity, is actually largely in control of Israel and its politics and they are part and parcel of the globalist drive to secure control of Jerusalem for the antichrist.

This is an issue in which most Bible prophecy students have remained blind, but the Vatican is that beast of Revelation 13 with two horns like a lamb, but speaks like a dragon. Unbelievably, the very head of Christianity itself will side with the Beast and will cause all men great and small to wonder after the Beast. She will cause everyone whose name is not written in the Lamb’s book of life to worship the antichrist and people are being fooled in this matter because she looks like a lamb, but she speaks like a dragon and we see Pope Francis doing exactly that right now.

We need to be wise in our understanding. We are not judging the Catholic people, many of whom are God’s people and are at present very upset that this pope is changing their long held beliefs. We are talking about a system that will defect just as Judas did and they will betray our Lord.

Think about this. Judas, one of the 12 disciples of Jesus betrayed Jesus for money and for this act he was called the son of perdition. And there is only one other person in the Bible who is also called the son of perdition and that is the antichrist, who will betray Jesu for money and power and will seek to usurp His kingdom. (Jn. 17:12, 2 Thess. 2:3)

We must decide which side we are on and then we must come into line with the principles of Christ’s kingdom if we are to belong to Him. And we must learn to love Him more than the things of this world, so that when He returns we will be wise virgins who are filled with His Spirit and ready for the marriage. The 6000 year war is coming to a climax and it will soon be over. Selah.
