WHAT DID JESUS DO FOR US ON THE CROSS?

WHAT JESUS DID FOR US ON THE CROSS

From the day that Adam and Eve partook of the forbidden fruit, Satan became the god of this world and the father of humanity. When Jesus told the Pharisees that they were of their father the devil, He wasn’t necessarily singling them out. We all inherited a sin nature from Adam and Eve and so we are programmed to listen to Satan and to our fallen flesh much more than to God our Creator.

So yes, we are sinners, but we are also victims of our sin nature and without a Deliverer, our situation is hopeless. Most of humanity is made up of those poor souls who are victims of their fallen nature. Some are better and some are worse, but they remain victims. But there is a part of society that actively seeks to know the deeper things of Satan and to worship Lucifer as their god.

Such was the cult of Nimrod, when He started to strive to become one of the enlightened ones. He sought the hidden knowledge of the fallen angels that had come to earth as recorded in Genesis 6. He built a tower as a portal for them to come back. But God looked down and saw what they were doing. He destroyed the tower and confused their languages so that they would disburse and fill the earth according to their original mandate.

So Babylon was built on the plains of Shinar, a monument to man’s pride and to Satan’s first attempts at a global kingdom. In time the Chaldeans joined Babylonian society and became fully integrated with them. What we often miss about the Chaldeans is that they were the sorcerers, the astrologers, the esoteric society that always seemed to have the ear of kings and pharaohs. Hiding in the shadows of secret societies, they always gained power over the kings of the earth. They were Luciferians, actively involved in the worship of Satan and they maintained their secret societies, with the hidden knowledge of the fallen ones.

They eventually worked their way into the church and integrated their pagan principles into Christianity, changing times and laws and Sabbaths, they distanced the church from the Jews (Satan hates God’s chosen people) and sought to water down and pervert Christianity and to weaken it to the point of uselessness and false religion.

It should be no surprise that the Chaldeans are still among us today. They are the secret societies, the occult factions, the secret power structures behind governments that foment war and divide the land for gain. They rule over the money and power of the world. They are the Skull and Bones people, the Free Masons, the Jesuits, the globalists that are even now seeking to destroy the last vestiges of Christian society and to draw us as they always have into yet one more global attempt to rule the world.

Like I said, all of humanity remains either victims of the fall, or in some cases active participants in Satan’s global aspirations. When Adam and Eve sinned, man’s spirit was separated from God. And like unplugging an electric light, they died spiritually instantly. So man’s spirit became connected to the spirit of Satan and we became his children. By nature we do what our father Satan does and the only thing that keeps us decent at all is the civil laws of the land and policemen to maintain order.

In the world today we see a gathering climax to the war between the seed of Satan and the Seed of Christ. Adam was the only human to be called a son of God. But Abraham came out of the heart of Babylon at Ur and God called Him to be the father of the faithful, a nation through which God would begin the process of restoration. Through Abraham’s faith God reckoned him as righteous and so with that faith God built a nation of faithful people through whom the Word of God would be delivered and the Son of God would be born.

There has been a progression in God’s process of restoring humanity. First came the Law to govern sinful man and to establish a legal basis upon which sin and righteousness would be determined. Sin had to be defined before God could save us from it. And sin and righteousness must be legally defined in order for there to be judgment between the two.

The Jews were servants of God and as servants they kept His Law and observed His times and seasons, His Sabbaths and His Feasts. They faithfully offered their sacrifices through the Levitical priesthood as God prescribed. But even though these sacrifices temporarily covered their sins, they did not make men holy… not in the way that God ultimately wanted to make men holy. And Israel failed God over and over again simply because man’s fallen nature tends to overrule our good intentions. It is obvious that mankind needs more than Law in his restoration process. Law controls the outward actions but it cannot change the heart of man, or to restore in him the son status that Adam enjoyed.

We sometimes fail to realize just what a big deal it was that for the first time since Adam there was suddenly One among them who claimed to be a Son. It was outrageous to them… blasphemy…worthy of death. How could Yeshua call Himself a Son of God thus making Himself equal with God?

Yeshua came to conquer sin and Satan in a way that no one expected or could have imagined. He entered Satan’s territory as a completely vulnerable human baby. He grew up in their midst, entered into ministry at 30 years of age, did the work of God in the world and then offered Himself as a living sacrifice… crucified by His own people. One day we see them shouting “Hosanna to the Son of David and the next they are shouting, “Crucify Him, Crucify Him,” and in this we see Satan still manipulating and controlling fallen humanity. This is why Jesus asked the Father to forgive them. They were being manipulated and Jesus understood this.

So what did Jesus do for us on the cross? He made it possible for us to enter into His death and in that death we became disconnected from the spirit of Satan and with His resurrection we were reconnected with the Spirit of God. We effectively died in Satan’s kingdom and were born again into the kingdom of our Lord and Rescuer Jesus Christ. And whereas we used to naturally incline to the spirit of Satan, we now naturally incline to the Spirit of God. Our desire has been turned back to our true Father God.

But John tells us more about this in chapter 1:12, 13 where it says: “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right (power) to become the children of God, even to those who believe in His name, who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”

Since the time of Adam, no one could call themselves a son of God until Yeshua came, born of a virgin, God being His true Father by the Holy Spirit, He was the first to be a Son of God and yet, through His death and resurrection on our behalf He has now given us the right or the power to become sons and daughters of God. Jesus is now our elder brother and we are part of the heavenly family, citizens of a kingdom that is not of this world.

Yes, the Chaldeans are still controlling the governments of the world. Their names are like the who’s who of American politics and of every other government on the planet. They are once again making a gargantuan effort to form a global government under the control of Satan and his Chaldeans (The deep State, Luciferian, secret society Masters of this world) But in the one name of Jesus we have been given the right and the power to become children of a different kingdom. Hallelujah!!!

But Jesus gave us one kingpin of truth when He said that we must be born again. Mental agreement or conversion is not enough. Obeying the Law isn’t enough. Keeping the feasts and doing everything that God commanded the Israelites to do, is not enough. In those things, God was laying the groundwork for salvation through His only begotten Son. And as Paul says in Col. 2:16-17: All of those things that Israel did in obedience to God were shadows, types, foundational teachings… but the substance belongs to Christ. He is the living reality of all things… the fulfillment of all things. He is the living Word made flesh so that He could offer to us through His death and resurrection a new birth into His kingdom.

And what does the Bible say about what God will do with Satan’s kingdom in the end?

“But I will repay Babylon and all the inhabitants of Chaldea for all their evil that they have done in Zion before your eyes,” Declares the Lord. “Behold I am against you oh destroying mountain who destroy the whole earth.” declares the Lord.  And I will stretch out my hand against you and roll you down from the crags and I will make you a burnt out mountain. And they will not take from you even a stone for a corner, nor a stone for foundations, but you will be desolate forever,” declares the Lord.” Jeremiah 51:24-26.

And in Revelation chapters 17, 18 we see that Satan’s global kingdom along with its ten kings will only reign with the antichrist for one hour. Think of all the groundwork that has been laid by Satan throughout time from Babylon until now. And it will all go up in smoke almost as soon as it is finally formed and Jesus will come back as King of kings and Lord of lords. Satan’s kingdom will be utterly destroyed and he will be cast into the lake of fire along with his Chaldean cohorts, the Beast and the false prophet and all of those who formed their esoteric and evil cabal. And when Jesus sets up His millennial kingdom, He will not use a single stone, a single principle of the Chaldeans for a foundation.

When life doesn’t make any sense and governments make decisions that don’t seem to be in the best interest of their people, we need to realize that the Chaldeans have a satanic agenda that doesn’t favor humans, that hates righteousness and that hates God’s people, both Jews and Christians. And then we can remember just as we do on special days like Passover and resurrection Sunday, that we are now sons and daughters of God… born again into the kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
