THE PURPOSE OF THE TRIBULATION
THE PURPOSE OF THE TRIBULATION
Jesus
has a distracted bride. Our attractions are largely towards the world. Our
sense of security is in our bank accounts and in unchanging times. We have chosen
to hold a largely secular world view rather than a biblical world vies. We have
placed our faith in science, in doctors, in the daily news, in the systems that
constitute Babylon. We have relegated our devotion to God to one day a week for
2 hours after which we live largely like the world. Christian statistics on a
large number of subjects are generally the same as the world’s.
The church
is very big, but only a small percentage is courting the Lord with marriage in
mind. We are still dating other gods.
Hat is Jesus to do. He loves us
all, both saints and sinners and those in between. He is unwilling to lose so
many and yet he cannot bring un-regenerated mankind into the presence of a holy
God. We need to come out and be separate, but we have the smell of pigs on us.
Yes,
the Father placed His robe of Righteousness on a dirty, smelly Prodigal son,
but He did not place His robe on an unrepentant son. The son had turned from
his ways. He had left the world. He had come home. He confessed his sin and the
Father forgave him and reinstated him into the family. The son was no finished
with the world and he would now live like a child of the King.
Today
we have prodigals that want all of the benefits of the family while staying in
a far country and partying with his friends. Again I ask… What is Jesus to do?
His
answer is to place the world into a pressure cooker in which He will offer the Tree
of knowledge of good and evil in the kingdom of the antichrist, or the tree of
life which is Jesus Christ. Everyone must take his stand and come completely
out of the other camp and feed from the tree of his choice. His life source
will either be Christ or Satan.
The
good news is that Jesus will never leave us or forsake us. He will hide us in
the secret place of the Most High if we have made that our dwelling place.
Everyone that calls upon His name will be saved. He will pour out His Spirit
upon all flesh and a great harvest of souls will come in. His bride will bring
them to Jesus. They will overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of
their testimony.
Of
those whom the Father has given Him, He will lose not one. His sheep will hear
His voice and He will lead them even through the valley of the shadow of death.
Not a hair of their head will be harmed. A thousand shall fall at their side
and ten thousand at their right hand, but it will not come near their tents.
Only with their eyes she they see and behold the reward of the wicked.
Why are we so dead
set against being here for the greatest showdown in history? Why do we not have
faith to believe that Jesus is capable of getting us through?
When
our money is gone and our house is gone, and when even the police force has
turned against us; then we will have eyes only for our beloved. Every other
form of security will be gone and in those precious moments our love for Him
will be perfected.
These
are things we never think about even though Christians in many other parts of the
world are facing unimaginable persecution right now. It will be here sooner
than we think and when it comes many will fall away from the faith, giving heed
to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. The truth of every man’s soul will
be revealed and final choices will be made.
At the end
Jesus will say, “It is finished. Let him who is righteous be righteous still
and let him who is filthy be filthy still.
Do we
know what our choice will be then? Well… what are our choices now? Are our
steps leading towards heaven, or hell? It is not enough to say that we believe,
but those that do the will of the Father will be saved. We must be born again
or we cannot see the kingdom of God. Being born again; means dying to this
world, through the cross of Christ; and then being born again into the kingdom
of our Lord Jesus Christ, by the power of His resurrection. The old life is
gone and a completely new life has begun. It is one in which we are crucified
with Christ, nevertheless we live, yet not us, but Christ lives in us and the life
that we now live in the flesh we live by faith in the Son of God who loved us
and gave His life for us.
There
is no half way point between kingdoms. We are either in one or the other. Like a
good marriage, we die to our single state and we take on His name and the two
become one. Selah.
