TWO CHURCHES NOW FORMING

                I have long seen a parallel between the churches of Philadelphia and Laodicea, and the wise and foolish virgins. The church of Philadelphia has the key of David, which is the son of David, Jesus Christ Himself as He dwells in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. The church of Laodicea thinks that it is rich and increased with goods, but it is lukewarm. Jesus came to baptize us with the Holy Spirit and fire, so a lukewarm church has let that fire go out, having a form of godliness but denying the power. (Think cessation theology: that the work of the Holy spirit ended with the apostles)

                The church of Philadelphia has set before it an open door, as did the wise virgins, while the church of Laodicea has before it a closed door. Jesus is standing on the outside of the door knocking to get in. So ask yourself how many churches actually allow room for the Holy Spirit to act and to manifest in their services, verses those churches in which it would make no difference whether the Holy Spirit was there or not. How many preachers today preach under the unction of the Holy Spirit? Instead, everything goes strictly to schedule and by the power and wisdom of man. Intellectualism is not enough.

                The church at Philadelphia has a little power and keeps Jesus’ Word. In other words they still operate by the Holy Spirit, though not as in former times, but they are clinging to the Word as their rule of faith and practice and what power they have is from the Holy Spirit. They have an intimate relationship with Jesus through His Word and through His Holy Spirit. They are known by Jesus in the marital sense. And just as we have discussed it before, the tabernacle of Moses is blushingly direct about our marriage to Christ. Consummating our marriage with Jesus happens in the Holy Place, where our intercourse with Him involves the Holy Spirit and the Word and intimate prayer. And the Most Holy Place is the womb, the spirit of man in which the sons of God are conceived. All of creation is waiting anxiously for the revealing of the sons of God. Can we do this without the Holy Spirit? How did Mary conceive? It is likewise with us.

                Jesus reveals this intimacy in a profound way in His prayer in John chapter 17, saying:

“Sanctify them in truth; Thy Word is truth. As thou did send Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify Myself that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth. I do not ask in behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word, that they may all be one, even  as Thou Father art in Me and I in thee, that they also may be in Us; that the world may believe that thou didst send Me. and the glory which Thou hast given Me I have given to them; that they may be one just as We are one; I in them and thou in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, that the world may know that Thou didst love Me.” John 17:17-23

                In this prayer (and there is much more to it) Jesus prays for a kind of intimate unity not only with Himself, but with each other… and it is a unity rarely experienced in the Body of Christ today. We come and go from church largely untouched either by God or by those around us… unaware of their joys and sorrows because we are all wearing our religious masks and acting out our routine churchy pantomimes... being fully engaged in our own affairs.

                But in fact this business of having oil and being ready for the marriage supper of the Lamb is serious business. The wise are allowed in, but the foolish find a closed door and they are told to go out and buy oil from those who sell, just as Laodicea is counselled to by gold tried in fire and white raiment (the righteousness of Christ) and eye salve to anoint their blind eyes.

                But now, back to the two churches: These two churches exist together here in the last days… and to the intimate church Jesus shares a secret. It is a secret that doesn’t seem to fit the otherwise intimate talk going on here. Jesus just sort of blurts this out as a warning to His beloved:

                “Behold I will cause those of the synagogue of Satan who say that they are Jews and are not, but lie – behold, I will make them to come and bow down at your feet and to know that I have loved you.” Rev 3:9. Whaaaat? What is He saying here and what does it have to do with His faithful last day church?

                Only just now we may be gaining some insight as to why this out of place warning is given to His faithful last day church.

                Who is this group of people that say that they are Jews but are not and how does this affect the faithful church?

                There is a very unlikely marriage taking place right now between Jews that claim to be Jews, but are not, and the Pope of Rome who claims to be Christian, but is not. These two demonic groups have formed an alliance of sorts, to bring about the global government and religion of the beast.

                Apparently our current pope is not only a Jesuit (whom Catholics have long tried to keep out of power) and a Jew.(Unbelievable to say the least) And even before he was placed in office he was rounding up his cardinals and assigning them to study Noahide Laws, for the purpose of uniting church and state as well as to bring the whole world and all of its religions under one canopy. For this the Noahide laws are able to cross all borders and barriers, being embraced by governments and churches and religions alike.

                Today we see so many once faithful churches, now defecting and crossing the pond to take their place in the coming New World Order and guess who welcomes them into the fold. Pope Francis.

                As it turns out, he is not Christian at all, but one who is intent upon bringing in these universal Noahide Laws in order to form the global government and religion of the Beast. And strangely enough, the only ones that the Noahide laws single out for extermination is that group that worships Jesus as truly God in human flesh.

                John gave us a clue as to who the antichrist would be in the last days by saying: “For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist.” 2 John:7

                Well, guess what the Noahide Laws identify as idolatry and worthy of death? It is those who believe that Jesus was God in human flesh. That’s right… we who believe that Jesus is truly God who came into this world in human flesh to die for our sins… to rise again to be our faithful High Priest in heaven… we will become the focus of Satan’s wrath in these last days.

                This turn of events is such a twist to my previous understanding that I find it hard to grapple with and yet, it doesn’t actually deny what the reformers believed. They saw and believed that the Pope was the antichrist and that is largely why Protestants came out of the universal church. And while the Pope may not be the actual antichrist, he is most assuredly the False Prophet that is gathering all of the nations and religions of the world together to wonder after and to worship the Beast and he is using the Noahide laws to do it.

                So now this gives better understanding to Jesus’ cryptic clue to His beloved Philadelphia church of the last days. Today Israel has largely been hijacked by a group of Cabbalists and Talmudic sages who say they are Jews and are not, but are of the synagogue of Satan, for indeed they are in bed with the Free Masons, the seed of Satan that runs the world, the Jewish/Jesuit Pope, the Luciferians and every other group that is opposed to the real Jesus Christ and together they are going to form the antichrist system that will bring persecution to God’s true Christian believers in these last days.

                A true Jew is one who lives by the Torah, not the Babylonian Talmud and to be more specific, a true Jew is one who has received her King and Messiah, Yeshua as both Savior and Lord.

                Remember if you will that this is not anti-Sematic. God has a remnant people among the Jews just as He does among Christians and the Jews have been hijacked by these false Jews just as Christianity has been hijacked by false Christians. After all, the pope has now been made the representative of all of Christianity and how many of you know that He does not speak for us. He certainly doesn’t speak for true Christians any more than he speaks for true Jews.

                Indeed we live in perilous times and it should freak us out to see just how many Christian leaders and denominations are going with hat in hand to Rome to become a part of the global system of the antichrist. Did you know that Kenneth Copeland is not only a ring leader in bringing Evangelical leaders to Rome, but that he is a 33^rd degree Mason as well? I used to follow his teachings until he veered off the path and started teaching prosperity and self-centered religion. And Rick Warren and many, many other prominent names in Christianity, are leading the church to destruction.

                We desperately need to return to Bible prophecy. We need to know our Bibles much better than we know them today. Our forefathers knew them from cover to cover, but today we are satisfied with nice sounding sound bites that fit our lifestyles. We don’t dig the truth out any more. Neither do we actually live the life that Jesus prayed for in John 17. We have become fractured and divided simply because we have made our religions out of side issues rather than centering them in Christ as He is living in us by His Holy Spirit. We have lost our intimate connection with Him, both in His Word and by His Spirit and we no longer pray intimate prayers either… so their remains a veil between us and the womb in which the sons of God will be born.

                And it is to this weak, lukewarm church that Satan is now bringing his greatest deceptions. Heaven help us!

                I want to draw your attention to the promises that Jesus made to His Philadelphian church.

1.       We are promised that because we have kept the word of His perseverance we will not have to face the hour of testing that will come upon the whole world. What does that mean exactly?

2.       Jesus also reinforced that statement in Revelation 3:10 with another cryptic clue in Luke 21:36 saying: ”But keep on the alert at all times praying in order that you may have strength, (or be counted worthy) to escape all these things that are about to take place and to stand before the Son of Man.” So the church of Philadelphia is going to be protected from and or kept from that time that is about to come upon the whole world. Is there a way of escape for those who are faithful?

3.       To those in Philadelphia as well as those in Laodicea that overcome is the promise that they will be made pillars in the temple of God and they will receive the name of My God and the name of the City of My God as well as Jesus’ new name. And to Laodicea, he who overcomes will sit with Jesus on His throne even as Jesus overcame and is seated with His Father on His throne.” Rev 3:21.

                It is well worth our being faithful, no matter what the devil throws at us… and one thing we know is that we don’t want to be a part of this coming global kingdom for any reason. They are conspiring to build a temple in Jerusalem to welcome in the Messiah, but we know from scripture (Dan. 9:27 and elsewhere) that the one who comes will be an imposter. He will seek to annihilate anyone who believes that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came in the flesh to pay a ransom and to rescue us from Satan’s kingdom.

                So hang in there. Jesus is coming when we least expect it, like a thief in the night, to snatch away those who have been faithful to Him. We, along with the dead in Christ will be caught up together in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord!”1 Cor. 15:51-58, 1Thess. 4:13-18.

                WHICH CHURCH DO YOU WANT TO BE FOUND IN ON THAT DAY? THE FALSE CHURCH OF THE ANTICHRIST, OR THE TRUE CHURCH THAT IS FILLED WITH THE WORD OF GOD AND THE HOLY  SPIRIT OF GOD …IN WHOM THE SON OR DAUGHTER OF GOD HAS BEEN CONCEIVED AND FORMED? It’s time to choose.
