THE GREAT SHAKING PART 2

                This final move of God will not be one of doctrine. Evangelists will no longer take people through a litany of special doctrines that stand between them and Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ Himself will be preached with power. People who receive Him will forsake the world and enter into Christ fully and without restrictions. They will be willing to live or to die for his name.

                While the false church is finding its unity in rejecting Christ and His Word, the true church will find its unity in Christ alone and in His Word they will meditate day and night.

                Jesus told Nicodemus that unless a person was born again he could not see the kingdom of God. John 3:3. The problem is that we have watered down the meaning of being born again so greatly that it hardly means anything anymore. But being born again is perhaps the most radical thing that can be done on this planet. It represents death to this satanic kingdom and a new birth by the power of the resurrection into the kingdom of Jesus Christ. In this kingdom we live solely by His resurrection power. We live solely by His Holy Spirit and His Word. Gal. 2:20, 21

                Jesus is the Word made flesh. We must eat of His flesh and drink of His blood or we have no life in ourselves. John 6:51-63. That is to say that through the Holy Spirit we partake of His living Word until we are transformed into His image. Eph. 4:11-13. This is not a lifestyle change. This is the death of what was and the birth of something new. We are new creatures in Christ. We are a new creation. 2Cor. 5:17, Col 3:9, 10

                This little game we have called “church” is coming to an end. We have tolerated Jezebel. We have tolerated the doctrines of demons. We have tolerated the removal of the Word from our pulpits. We have tolerated the removal of Bible Prophecy by which we may understand God’s agenda for the last days. We have tolerated the sins of a fallen nation and even embraced many of them. We have come to a point where we no longer call sin by its right name. We have become like Israel as spoken of in Judges 21:25. “In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes.” We live as though we have no King.

                And so we have a Christianity today in which many believe that they can carve their own way to heaven. They can come to God on their own terms. They no longer need the Word of God or the Spirit of God. They can just wing it and God will understand. But the fires of God are coming to purge everything from His threshing floor that is not founded upon Him. Luke 3:16, 17.

                “As for me (John the Baptist) I baptize you with water; but He who is mightier than I is coming and I am not fit to untie the thong of His sandals; He Himself will baptize you in the Holy Spirit and fire. And His winnowing fork is in His hand to purge out His threshing floor and to gather the wheat into His barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.” How can John say this about the gentle Jesus meek and lowly? Well, He came as a gentle Shepherd the first time, but He is returning as King of kings and Lord of lords and He will judge all ungodliness and put it away. Jude 14, 15

                “The proud look of man will be abased and the loftiness of man will be humbled and the Lord alone will be exalted in that day. For the Lord of hosts will have a day of reckoning against everyone who is proud and lofty and against everyone who is lifted up that he may be abased.  And men will go into caves of the rocks and into holes of the ground before the terror of the Lord and before the splendor of His majesty, when He arises to make the earth tremble. “Isa. 2:11, 12, 19, 20

                “Wail, for the day of the Lord is near! It will come as destruction from the Almighty. Therefore all hands will fall limp, and every man’s heart will melt. And they will be terrified. Pains and anguish will take hold of them; they will writhe like a woman in labor, they will look at one another in astonishment, their faces aflame. Behold the day of the Lord is coming, cruel with fury and burning anger, to make the land a desolation; And He will exterminate its sinners from it. For the stars of heaven and their constellations will not flash forth their light; the sun will be dark when it rises and the moon will not shed its light.” Isa. 13:6-10.

                Did not Jesus tell us the same thing in Mt. 24? Did He not say that there was coming a time of trouble such as the world has never seen since there was a nation? Mt. 24:21. We no longer understand the fear of the Lord. We treat Him as common. We impose our own beliefs upon Him as if He is a pushover.

                We see the nations lining up for war… and just yesterday, Turkey’s economy collapsed.  In a panic Erdogan has turned to Russia for help. Russia and Turkey have been arch enemies for 1000 years, but the Bible says that they will be allied together for battle against Israel in the Magog/Armageddon war. So the pieces are coming together rapidly and the prophets are speaking in terms of a great purging… a great apostasy and falling away as God rises to shake the earth and the heavens where Satan dwells. Satan is about to come down to us in his wrath like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour.

                Unprecedented satanic power is going to be unleashed and so we, the true church need to be empowered with a power far greater than we have seen before.  200 million demons will be released like locusts to cover the earth. Rev. 9:1-4.We need power to match the powers and delusions that are coming upon the earth.

                In this final harvest there will be no TV super heroes. The gifts of the Spirit have been abused and misused and exploited for personal gain. Many giant ministries have fallen because the moral character of the big names did not live up to their calling. Many more are soon to fall. It is the same in politics as in the church. A great shaking is coming in which everything that is not of God will be shaken out. In this coming war, over 200 million people will be killed and millions will fall away from the faith because their training has never prepared them for hard times.

                In their desperation people will begin to look for a single world leader who can solve the world’s problems… and be he god or devil, they will follow him. The antichrist is waiting in the wings. I am not here to say how much of this we will go through and when the rapture will take place. I have my own opinion on the matter, but my opinion doesn’t really matter. Paul did say that we would be here to witness the great falling away so that the man of sin might be revealed. Besides, we have lived by a whole lot of presumption simply because we have no idea how bad the birth pangs will become before the wrath of God is poured out. We have developed opinions without even studying bible prophecy as we should.

                The only question we need to ask ourselves is this: Am I preparing as a Bride adorned for her husband or am I still dating the gods of this world?

                How much time do we have left? I don’t know, but I do know this: The prophetic preachers are preaching like never before. Judgment is coming and it will come to the house of the Lord first.

                The days of comfort and complacency and dead tradition are coming to an end. It is time to get ready for His coming no matter when the rapture comes. We need to seek Him while He may be found… and we need to pray our families and friends into the kingdom before all hell breaks loose.
