THE LIGHTNING RODS
THE LIGHTNING RODS
As a
kid travelling across country with my parents I remember seeing lightning rods
on barns all over the Midwest and over the central plains. These lightning rods
were designed to attract lightning to them, but then to conduct the electricity
to the ground thus preventing damage to the barn.
In the
political field there are two such lightning rods today…Prime Minister Benjamin
Netanyahu in Israel and President Donald Trump in America.
Most
people living today have little or no idea the significance of these two men as
it pertains to Bible prophecy. Largely this is because people no longer study
Bible prophecy, nor do they comprehend where we are in prophetic time.
The
Bible in many places tells of a 7 headed beast that will rise in the last days.
It will rule the entire world, controlling religion, finance and politics. It
will come at a time when technology has reached a point where these prophecies
can be fulfilled.
In
Revelation 12 we see a seven headed dragon waiting to devour the man child as
soon as He is born. The man child escapes and is caught up to heaven, so the dragon
goes after the woman that bore the child as she flees into the wilderness. But
God prepares a place for the woman to be protected for 1260 days, so the dragon
goes off to make war with the remnant of her seed that keep the commandments
and hold to the testimony of Jesus.
The man
child is Jesus Christ. The woman who gives birth to Christ is Israel and the
remnant of her seed is the church, made up of both Jews and Christians who have
received Jesus as Lord and King.
From
God’s point of view, Israel and the church are His people of interest and right
now, the lightning rods are the president of America and the Prime Minister of
Israel. These two, by divine providence, are standing against the coming global
government.
It is
no coincidence that the 7 headed dragon of Revelation 12 becomes the 7 headed
Beast of Revelation 13. The coming global kingdom of the Beast is Satan’s final
kingdom, make no mistake about that. If you think that globalism is a good
Idea, then you belong to your father, the devil and Satan.
It was
God who divided the world into nations at the Tower of Babel and it is Satan
that is seeking to rebuild Nimrod’s global cabal once again. He is seeking to
rule the world in the place of Christ. He wants to rule from Jerusalem and that
is why that tiny little ancient City in that tiny little country has become the
cup of trembling upon which the eyes of the whole world are fastened.
We need
to understand that these two men are fulfilling Bible prophecies both good and
bad. If we don’t understand this then we will be loving them one minute and
hating them the next. We will be for them one minute and against them the next
and we will be scratching our heads wondering what the heck they are doing and
what they are thinking as they appear to be doing zany and irrational things
here, and brilliant and logical things there.
This is
a battle between Christ and Satan in which these men are but pons. God’s
prophetic Word will be fulfilled in every detail… and even though God is in
control, it will be seen that it is the sin of man that actually brings
judgments upon the land.
The
global leaders are seeking to oust Netanyahu because he has made a firm stand
against the dividing of Israel and Jerusalem. On the other hand Donald Trump
has raised the ire of the globalists because he is taking his stand against
globalism. He refuses to surrender our sovereignty to a satanic regime.
So when
you see rioting in the streets of America or Israel, you can be pretty sure
that these riots and demonstrations are funded by and incited by the globalists…
and when you see them trying to destroy our second amendment rights to bear
arms, it is because they want to conquer America without a fight and to herd us
into their global cabal.
Those
of you, who remain complacent about the issues and care not about the two
lightning rods, need to pray fervently for them. Right now they are about the
only thing standing between us and the coming tribulation or Time of Jacob’s
Trouble.
Right
now, the satanic powers of the beast are plotting one of three ways to get rid
of Trump, either by impeachment, or by declaring him mentally incompetent or by
assassination. Likewise with Netanyahu. And you can tell who owns the media by the
constant insults and vitriol that they hurl against these leaders.
It’s
time to conduct a self-examination to see if we are falling for the lies of the
enemy. It is not that these men are perfect… but we can certainly see who their
enemies are. And we need to know our Bibles because when God can’t find a saint
to do His will, He will find a sinner to do it. Cyrus and Nebuchadnezzar come
to mind, along with other godless nations that God used to judge Israel for her
sins.
It
seems that much of the church has become blind to God’s purposes. They seem
incapable of envisioning God’s overarching plans such as the seed wars. For
instance, this world is inhabited by two groups, the seed of Satan and the seed
of Christ. We either belong to one group or the other and depending upon our
choices we either live by the Spirit of Christ or the spirit of Satan.
We tend
to pretend that there is some form of neutral ground in which the most of us
can live our lives. But according to scripture there is no neutral ground and
to live by the flesh is to live by the spirit of Satan by default.
So don’t
kill the messenger here. This is simply the way it is: and we are rushing
toward a climax, a final conflagration that will bring this age to an end.
There
is only one global kingdom and one global King that can bring peace to the world
and that King is Jesus Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords. Choose
wisely, for you will share the fate of the king you follow and you will live by
the spirit of the one whom you believe in. So, pray for the lightning rods. God
is using them to buy us a little more time and when they fall… all hell is
going to break loose on this plane. ”…for then there will be a great tribulation,
such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever
shall…” Mt. 24:21
