ANOTHER VIEW OF THE GREAT WONDER
ANOTHER VIEW OF THE GREAT WONDER
In a
pre-trib rapture scenario, it is Israel that gives birth to the church. The church
is then caught up into heaven, while the woman (Israel) flees into the
wilderness (Time of Jacob’s Trouble) being pursued by the dragon.
This
scenario sounds good unless we consider that this woman who gives birth to the church
has the testimony of Jesus. Non-believing Jews do not have the testimony of
Jesus and if they do then they are Christians like the rest of us and should be
caught up to heaven with us.
This is
why I toy with other concepts… just trying to make something fit. So if the Remnant
who keep the commandments and have the testimony of Jesus are Christians, then
who is the man child?
This is
where I come up with the idea that the man child is actually the Bride of
Christ ( A group that has maintained an intimate relationship with the Lord)
verses those who are more like friends of the Bridegroom. As friends they believe
in Jesus. They are saved. They will go to heaven, but they will not reign with
Jesus Christ on His throne. They are the Body of Christ but not His Bride.
Remember
if you will that only 3 of the 12 disciples got to see the transfiguration of
Jesus. They beheld His glory, while the other disciples did not.
All of
these things have meaning… things like Jesus coming up to Jerusalem in the middle
of the feast of tabernacles and not at the beginning. Likewise Jesus waited
behind and then came to the disciples in the middle of the lake in the middle
of the storm. He calmed the storm and then the boat and all in it were
instantly found on the other shore.
The
Bible is full of messages that we often ignore, but nothing is a coincidence
with God and we need to tune into these things now, from signs in the sun, moon
and stars, to events on the earth… everything is pointing us to one momentous
occasion… the coming of Christ and He has hidden His messages everywhere. Stay
alert.
