BACK FROM THE PROPHECY CONFERENCE

                Bonnie and I are back from the “Hear the Watchmen” conference in Boise Idaho. It was a wonderful time packed with divine appointments for us. And now our heads are packed to overflowing with information that it will take months to process.

                On one hand there are warnings of coming judgment aplenty and yet there was a very positive and upbeat atmosphere, because this sold out crowd is made up of those who study and prepare for such things. We do not live in fear; rather we face our fears straight on and learn how to deal with them in faith and understanding.

                But then on the following day we watched the total eclipse of the sun as it blazed a path of darkness across our nation. It started at the 33^rd state (Oregon) and formed a line across the entire United States, ending at the 33^rd parallel. It crossed through 7 cities named “Salem” and it blazed its path across a line in America where 95% of the people voted for Donald Trump. What is God saying to us?

                On these same dates in history Moses went up to the top of Sinai to plead for Israel after they had worshipped the golden calf. Moses spent 40 days neither eating food or drinking water and he offered his own life for Israel’s ransom. God then forgave Israel at Moses’ word and as a solution to the problem, He said to Moses, “Let them make me a sanctuary that I might dwell among them.” So from the 1^st of Elul to 40 days on the mountain, Moses descended and collected gold and silver from the people as god commanded and on the first day of Tabernacles, they began to build a tabernacle for the Lord.

                It was after a total solar eclipse over Ninevah, along with 2 plagues and a civil uprising that Jonah walked into Ninevah and told the people they had 40 days to repent or destruction would fall.

                It was on the first of Elul one that Jesus went up from His baptism and into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil for 40 days after which He went to His home synagogue and announced His mission on Yom Kippur (The Day of Atonement)

                There was a total solar eclipse on Elul 1 on August the 21^st in 1914. It crossed over parts of Europe and the Ottoman Empire. As a result, that part of Europe was devastated and the Ottoman Empire was destroyed in World War One.

                So what could this eclipse mean to America? First of all it is a sign warning the American church to repent. Judgment begins at the house of God and America is about to be judged for her sins. It will begin in the house of God, for the church has largely fallen from its place and has blended with the world. They have abandoned the preaching of the Gospel as well as the preaching of prophecy that could have warned our nation. The church may appear to be alive in man’s eyes, but in God’s eyes, they are lukewarm at best and flat out dead in many cases.

                Without an understanding of Bible prophecy the church remains directionless and without clear purpose. Furthermore the church has allowed the downfall of our nation, remaining largely silent as God has been systematically kicked out of our schools, our government and our society.

                Repentance is overdue in America and this total solar eclipse over our nation has given us the same 40 day warning that has occurred over and over again throughout history. It happened on
Elul one and so it is now 33 days to Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) and another 7 days to Sukkot (Tabernacles)

                There are, of course, many solar eclipses and blood moons that occur naturally and it is necessary to see how they line up with God’s feast days and various patterns set up by God in Israeli history to know if God is speaking to us or not. This is why it is so important for us to now understand God’s appointed times and this is exactly why the Lorde has once again brought these signs into prominence in our day. In fact, I believe this is one of the key reasons why the Messianic Movement has been raised up by God at the end of time. It is our job to make these prophetic signs known to the world and to the church and if we do not do so, we will be accountable to God.

                This is why Mark Biltz and Jonathan Cahn and a growing number of prophetic Messianic voices are sounding the alarm around the world. I had the privilege of holding a private conversation with Rabbi Zev Porat at the conference. He is a Messianic Rabbi from Israel who flew over to speak at the conference and he is one of those that are winning many Jews and Muslims to Yeshua in Israel.

                I was able to share with him briefly my vision of the purposes for the Messianic movement at this period in earth’s history. Quite frankly, many Messianic leaders (n Apart from the few I have mentioned) don’t seem to know why they are here other than to provide traditional Jewish forms of worship along with the observance of the Feast days and Shabbat. They don’t often seem to comprehend their bigger mission which I see as follows.

                In my thinking there are three major functions to which God has called us:

1.       TO FILL IN A MAJOR GAP IN PROPHETIC UNDERSTANDING, by introducing God’s appointed times into the prophetic picture. God is giving us prophetic signs aplenty and most of the church remains unaware. God’s appointed feast days are not just added information. They form the very framework of last day events and unless we understand the language of the feasts we remain largely ignorant of the meaning and purpose of God’s judgments both upon Israel and upon the nations.

2.       OUR 2^ND PURPOSE IS TO RETURN A PAGAN LADEN CHURCH TO HER JUDEO/CHRISTIAN ROOTS as the call goes out for God’s people to come out of Babylon and to get back onto God’s prophetic time lines. Those churches that remain steeped in pagan tradition will fall away and wonder after the Beast as they join Ecumenical movements and the global religion currently being headed up by the Pope of Rome.

3.       OUR 3^RD MISSION (And these are not in order of importance) IS TO REINTRODUCE YESHUA TO THE JEWS AS THEIR JEWISH MESSIAH, TO UNWRAP YESHUA FROM HIS PAGAN VENEER AND TO PRESENT HIM AS THEIR MESSIAH AND KING.

God has been repeatedly warning us of judgments to come with blood moons and many signs in the sun, moon and stars, as promised by Joel and Peter, to come just prior to the Day of the Lord. These signs are extremely rare when they fall on God’s appointed times and will not occur again in our lifetime and some of them will never happen again, such as the sign of Revelation 12 that will occur September 23, 2917 followed by Meteor showers and a very close asteroid in October that may come as close as 4000 miles. NASA is now using every observatory on the planet to track this asteroid just to make sure it isn’t going to hit the earth.

                So if we add these signs in the heavens to all of the signs going on in the earth, as millions of tons of fish die in the seas on a monthly basis, and plagues destroy animal populations, as aberrant weather patterns play havoc in many places, as earthquakes and volcanoes increase and as the nations devolve into chaos, those who watch for these things see the handwriting on the wall.

                The times of the gentiles is about to come to an end and the time of Jacob’s Trouble is about to begin. We can’t set dates, but I will assure you than many of the speakers at the conference in Idaho hold in their hearts the idea that there are just too many signs and too many “coincidences” of numbers and feasts, and significant dates to ignore it any more.

                If we are  not specifically entering into the times prophesied in the Bible as the Day of the Lord, then we will all have to go back to the drawing board, because there has never in the past 2000 years been such a confluence… a convergence in signs as we are seeing right now.

               

                America is I for a blood bath such as this nation has never seen, both from within and from without. Dozens of cities will be literally wiped off the map and millions of people will die as foreign troops strafe our country slaughtering everyone in sight. The nations are desperate for food and for resources and America; one of the most privileged nations to ever exist both in wealth and in knowledge of God’s Word, has rejected God and has become one of the capitals of evil in the world. Likewise Israel has largely done the same and hence blood moons and eclipses warn America and Israel of coming judgment.

                The false prophets are telling us that we will take back America politically and on every other front and present her to God, but they are not correct. The great harvest this time is going to come amidst blood and fire and columns of smoke. Repentance will come on the battle field.

                Our only place of safety is in Yeshua… in His Word… in the secret place of the Most High… under the shadow of the Almighty. But let us be warned that many who carelessly claim Psalm 91 are not in fact dwelling in the secret place of the Most High. Outer court Christians need not apply. The secret place of the Most High is in the Most Holy Place and you can only get to the Most Holy place through the Holy Place where we are sanctified by the Word and prayer and sealed by the Holy Spirit. Our flesh must be left at the altar of burnt offering outside of the tent. Our lives washed in the waters of baptism. That is the beginning of our walk for then we enter into the first veil to be transformed by the renewing of our minds… filled with the Spirit and baptized in the Spirit for power to witness.

                Today most Christians are only taught the Outer Court experience. “Get saved and then do your own thing and God will understand and continually forgive because God is love.” But that is not the Gospel. The Gospel includes all three compartments of the Sanctuary in our preparation for the consummation of our marriage to Christ. If we are not moving through the Lord’s program of salvation we will not be ready to meet Him. And this is not a legalistic program, but a process toward intimacy and oneness with Yeshua through the Holy Spirit and the word until we reflect His character. “We don’t know what we shall be, but we shall be like Him for we shall see Him as He is.” 1 John 3:2.

                Perhaps it is time for us to study the little book of 1^st John. Remember, this is the same man who wrote the book of Revelation and in Revelation we see unsealed those prophecies that were sealed in the book of Daniel. Yet even the book of Revelation has not been fully understood until, as the angel promised Daniel, knowledge would increase.

                Now we know that many last day prophecies could not be fulfilled until our time when technology would make them possible. Even now we are entering fully into the days of Noah and the days of Lot and God is revealing to us right now what that means.

                After our divorce from the Jews in the fourth century the church has been on a long voyage, having been totally absorbed into paganism and then beginning the process of coming out through the Reformation and onward to our time, when God’s Remnant people are once again reconnecting to the fullness of the Bible and the foundations of our faith as God established them in both Old and New Testaments. It is now time to come fully out of Babylon, for she is about to be destroyed.
