                The tabernacle of Moses contains a detailed pattern of our marriage to Christ:

                The outer court is where the marriage takes place

                The Holy Place is where the marriage is consummated

                The Most Holy Place is the womb into which the Seed of Christ must be planted.



                The Spirit of man is the womb in which the Holy Spirit dwells. He makes our dormant spirit alive, or quickens our spirit unto eternal life so that if we have the Son, we have eternal life and that life is in our human spirit. The Seed of Christ once planted in us will begin to produce the fruit of the Spirit through us as well as to produce the man child in us. Our spirit grows as it is fed and empowered by the Holy Spirit and the Word. (Spiritual babies must be fed with spiritual food) and Jesus said:



                It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life. So it is not enough to have a mere intellectual understanding of the Word. It must be planted into our spiritual womb as spiritual food so that it can bring forth life.



                It is, of course, important to have right doctrine, but it is of little consequence unless it is producing life in us… making us alive by the Spirit of God.



                Jesus said concerning our spirit: I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me shall live even if he dies and everyone who lives and believes in Me shall never die.  John 11:25, 26. In other words the born again spirit of man cannot die and goes back to God who gave it upon our death.



                This is the truth that Paul is referring to when he says in 1 Thess. 4:14. “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so GOD WILL BRING WITH HIM those who have fallen asleep.”



                This is fundamental Gospel truth and yet many do not understand this. In our marriage to Christ as His Bride then His seed of eternal life is planted in us and this gives us good reason why we should consummate our marriage with Christ. This is why simple mental assent is not enough. Belief in marriage does not make one pregnant. The marriage must be consummated in order for the man child and His eternal life to be planted in us.



                This is why it is so vital to understand these things because a key figure in last day events is the harlot… one who pretends to offer marriage to Christ without consummating the marriage by personally receiving the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. Of these things Pope Francis has become a symbol for he has stated that we cannot have a personal relationship with Jesus, nor does he encourage people to study the Word for themselves, but only to follow the dictates of the harlot church.

               

                But that is only symbolic of a more personal issue. The great corporate harlot to seeks to rule the world, but like I said in my last article… we must look closer to home at the kind and quality of our own marriage to Christ. Have we consummated our marriage with Him or are we bargaining with Him for a childless marriage? It’s time to go all the way!
