UNITY (PART 2)

                Last night our church met with our Spanish congregation for an all- night prayer vigil. It was a time for hugs and handshakes and of corporate prayer for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit in our midst. I had spent a long day of recording with Abishai, and since we would be coming to the prayer vigil, we came together at about 9 pm when the vigil started. Our worship team was to provide part of the music for the event and so we came to minister music, mostly in English, while our Spanish counterpart worship team led worship and prayers in Spanish.

                It was really a warm and wonderful event and even though I didn’t fully understand the words of their prayers, I understood enough to be blessed by the power of their words and the cry of the human heart for an invasion by Almighty God.

                Having an appointment with you at 3:30 this morning, I did not stay all night at the prayer vigil, but caught about 3 ½ hours of sleep, so now here we are, you and me, to share thoughts about our Lord.

                Yesterday was spent on what is probably the biggest song on my upcoming worship CD. Being a student of Bible Prophecy, I wanted to incorporate some themes not often included in today’s worship music. I would call it apocalyptic worship, because it is worship that contains a sense of where we are in prophetic time. Therefore I included a song about the return of Jesus Christ for His Body. I also included a call to repentance and salvation and then it will end with a commission to do what we have been called to do in these last days in preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom.

                Too much of the church these days spends way too much energy trying to maintain homeostasis.  Preachers studiously avoid Prophetic themes or anything that would rock the boat, or cause the slightest concern, or to upset their financial support base. People in general don’t want to hear that we may be reaching some sort of a climax in world events and so they refuse to put the pieces of the puzzle together. The truth is, when we put the prophetic pieces of the puzzle together it paints a picture of our terminal existence.

                We are now living in the book of Revelation. Fifty years ago we knew in principle what was to come upon the world in the last days, but we didn’t see how it could ever take place in our lifetimes.

1.       How could a global government ever come about that would control the entire planet?

2.       How could there ever be a global money system in which they could control our buying and selling.

3.       How would America ever become weak enough to join such an international federation?

4.       How would the entire world be able to hear the preaching of the Two Witnesses?

5.       How would the antichrist become a global figure and how would society ever come to a place where they would worship the Beast and His image?

                All of these things seemed far away and impossible, and yet today all of these questions have been answered by our current technology that links the whole world together in instantaneous communication. These things are not a mystery any longer. In fact every part of bible prophecy is not only in place, but is actively involved in a massive move toward globalism. There is a huge wave of the spirit of antichrist in the world and so we no longer have to guess how the great falling away will occur or how Protestants will rejoin the Papacy, or how the most impossible thing of all will take place… (The blending of all religions into one “coexist” movement that would be embraced by elements of the church.)

                Spiritually, financially, politically and in nature, we see all of the elements that make up the end of time, reaching a boiling point and of course Israel is right where the Bible said they would be and facing the very issues that the Bible said they would face as they stagger towards becoming the seat of the antichrist.

                This has been Satan’s goal through world history to replace Jesus Christ and where better to do so than right in the heart of God’s people Israel? And where else would Satan want to take his seat than in the highest position in Christianity so now in our day, we have a compromised Pope through which the Vatican has become the seat of Satan and we have a political system that is pushing Israel in the same direction and they are about to sign a “peace agreement” that may be the greatest historical event to take place since Daniel wrote about it over 3500 years ago.

                As a watchman, I don’t have all the answers, but I know enough after a lifetime of watching the signs unfold, that we are on the brink. Time is short and we should not be seeking homeostasis right now, but we should be gearing up and preparing for the final harvest and the cataclysmic events that I believe will surround it.

                “And it will come about after this that I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; and your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. And even on the male and female servants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. And I will display wonders in the sky and on the earth, blood and fire and columns of smoke. The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes. And it will come about that whoever calls on the name of the Lord, will be delivered; for on Mt. Zion and in Jerusalem there will be those who escape as the Lord has said, even among the survivors whom the Lord calls.” Joel 2:28-32.

                “Therefore when you see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet standing in the holy place (let the reader understand) then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. But pray that your flight may not be in the winter or on a Sabbath for then there will be a great tribulation such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now or ever shall. And unless those days had been cut short, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect those days shall be cut short. But immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light and the stars will fall from the sky and the powers of the heavens will be shaken and then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory Mt. 24:15,16, 20-22,29-30.

                There is no way on earth that we can attribute these events to AD 70. These are end of the world events leading to the coming of Christ and we are seeing them all take shape right now!

                Alaska just got its wake up call and who knows from one day to the next where disaster will strike next. Do we really think that life is so predictable that we can count on having more time to repent and turn to the Lord with all of our hearts? We are all just one heartbeat away from eternity.

                These are not scare tactics. These are just solemn realities. We are surrounded by apocalyptic events and there are those who will remain asleep and those who will wake up and trim their lamps and make sure that they have oil so that they are ready to go into the wedding feast.

                Throughout all of history the roll of the prophet has been to warn people and nations of impending disaster and judgment. Their words are not empty, for they come in the middle of apostasy to warn people and nations to turn around before it is too late.

                Americans should have been jolted out of slumber when we saw how close we came to losing our freedom and our nation. We saw how that against all odds God stepped in and intervened and bought us just a little more time to repent and to turn to Him. Have we repented? Have we returned to Him? Our current president was used by God to give us one more chance, but he may also be the one who sets up final events that will usher the world into the era of the antichrist.

                The same sun that melts wax hardens clay. God is will able to bring both a door for repentance and a door for judgment at the same time and this is what I see happening in the world right now… and given the level of America’s repentance, I think that Trump may be setting us up for earth’s final events and the kingdom of the antichrist. That doesn’t make Trump either good or evil. What it does mean is that God watches over His Word to perform it.

                God is so gracious as to allow our repentance to change His mind, or delay judgment, but it does not alter His Word. It only delays it and that because God is unwilling for any to perish. Noah is preaching right now and the door of the ark is still open. No one knows the day or the hour when that door will close and the flood comes and takes them all away.

                Come to Him today and make sure that your name is written in the Lamb’s book of life. OUR entrance into that kingdom is only through the cross and resurrection of Jesus. We must eat His flesh and drink His blood or we have no part with Him. John 6:53-63.

                There is nothing casual about Christianity. It is a complete death in one kingdom and a new birth into another kingdom. It is a change of kings. It is the end of the rule of flesh and the beginning of the rule of the Holy Spirit. “For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God.” Romans 8:14. In Christ we become completely new creatures for the old man is put to death and a new man is created in Christ Jesus. In Christ we receive what Adam lost in the fall. We become once again sons and daughters of God and life here becomes our training ground for ruling and reigning with Him.

                Our goal is straight forward: “For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son that He might be the first-born among many brethren…” Romans 8:29.

                It’s time to become a part of the family… part of the Body of Christ. It is not identified by any institutional names, but we are sealed in Him by the Holy Spirit. 2 Cor. 1:22, Eph. 1:13, Eph. 4:30. We shall be known by our fruit… our love for one another and our love for God. AS such, we will love His Word and we will love His appearing.

                We are that generation that has been called to take the baton to the finish line. “For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility not of its own will but because of Him who subjected it in hope that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers pains of childbirth together until now. And not only this, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit even we ourselves groan within ourselves waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body.” Romans 8:19-23.

                In other words, God set term limits on sin and on Satan. He set the entire universe in entropy mode so that it will all come to an end. We see this taking place on our planet right now as our term limits are coming to an end. Next will come the judgment of Satan and His followers and then the reign of King Jesus over all the earth. Choose wisely my friends for the time is at hand.

                Our unity is in Christ. We share His Spirit and when He comes we will be caught up together to meet our Lord in the air.
