TOLERANCE

                Those who were crying out for Christian tolerance just a year or two ago are now proving to be the more intolerant. They are seeking through both mob rule and legislation to force us to see it their way. RL

"Incompetence Syndrome"; Struck With Blindness!

“A friend of mine once wrote: The only people in today's world that can comprehend, are those that are not struck with the "blindness" that the Bible states will come upon people in the end times. This "blindness", or inability to comprehend, can be easily recognized in ones that have it.

Another way of recognizing ones that "won't make it" are the questions that they ask, or fail to ask.

As another year draws to a close the one constant of politics has been the staggering incompetence, blindness and failure which appears to have struck our world leaders in recent times.

Wisdom and intelligence appear to have been traded with childish tantrums, insulting behaviour, schoolyard type bullying and in some cases murder, almost all the most important leaders of the world have been guilty of "Incompetence Syndrome"; Struck With Blindness and it would appear to be getting worse which should have all of us worrying about the near future.” Gary Walton of “The Big Wobble”

                It is astounding the level of ignorance that accompanies rebellion against God. This is because Truth is reality and God is the Source of both Truth and Reality and they are one and the same.

                So when one declares that there is no such thing as absolute truth, they are simultaneously rejecting reality and in their insane rage against God they seek to force everyone else to accept their unreality as well. This is the nature of the coming antichrist kingdom, the global kingdom that will rule the world for a short period of time.

                Furthermore, to say that good is evil and evil is good, is to launch upon a pathway of illogical nonsense. In all of this, God is not mocked for whatever a man sows; that will he also reap and that too is reality. Gal. 6:7.

                God is forgiving and gracious, but He is not tolerant. He is firmly planted in reality and truth for they are the foundations of His kingdom. It stands to reason then, that forgiveness is not a refutation of reality, in fact forgiveness must restore a sinner to reality or it will not have done its redemptive work.

                This is why forgiveness must be accompanied with repentance. Repentance acknowledges error and asks to be restored to truth and reality. This then results in being right… right with God and right with truth and reality…and this rightness God calls righteousness. Righteousness by faith entails believing God’s truth over our own lies and trading in our unrighteousness for His righteousness.

                In this light we can see that the last days involve a clash between truth and lies, between reality and a rebellion against it.

                Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. His Word is truth, and there is no other standard in this world by which truth can be measured. He is the Creator of both Truth and Reality and as such, coming to Him is to be coming home to all that is real and true. Choose Him today!
