THE FINE LINE
THE FINE LINE
Recently
the Jewish Sanhedrin passed a resolution to dedicate a stone altar and to begin
offering sacrifices there in anticipation of building the third temple. They
also sent out invitations to 70 nations inviting the world, basically, to join
them in building their house of prayer for all nations.
This
all seems innocent enough. After all, they are doing this in fulfillment of
Zechariah chapter 14 and countless other Old Testament texts. In chapter 14 we
see the whole scenario in one chapter.
The
nations of the world come against Israel to destroy her forever but God
intervenes and literally decimates the armies that come against her. Then the
Lord comes and His holy ones with Him, He sets foot on the Mount of Olives. He
then rides into Jerusalem and takes up His millennial reign.
Then
verse 12 says something about a plague that rots people’s eyes out in their
sockets even as they stand and it sounds a lot like a nuclear war. But after
that in verse 16 it says: “Then it will come about that any who are left of all
the nations that went against Jerusalem will go from year to year to worship
the King, the Lord of hosts and all of the nations will be required to go up to
Jerusalem from year to year to celebrate the feast of booths (Tabernacles) and
whichever nations refuse to go up, no rain will fall on their land.
Zech.
14 verse 9 tells us saying: “And the Lord will be King over all the earth; in
that day the Lord will be the only one and His name the only one.” Now, of
course the Jews don’t know what we know at this point and that is that the Lord
who reigns over all the earth in those days will be their Messiah, Yeshua,
Jesus, our King of kings and Lord of lords.
As we
look at this whole Jewish plan to dedicate an altar and to begin offering
sacrifices in anticipation of building their temple, we should be seeing a
whole lot of red flags.
1.
They are trying to fulfill the vision of a
millennial kingdom without their Messiah.
2.
We know from scripture that it is the antichrist
that will eventually help them build their temple and as such they will at
least temporarily embrace him as their Messiah.
3.
We also know of Jesus’ warning that when they
see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION standing in the Holy Place, then they must flee for their lives, not even going
back for their coat and hat. (Mt. 24:15) and Jesus tells them to pray that
their flight will not be in the winter or on a Sabbath day for then there will
be a great tribulation such as has not occurred since the beginning of the
world until now, nor ever shall.
4.
This is the soon coming tribulation that
prophecy literate Christians talk about and it is also known as the “Time of
Jacob’s (Israel’s) Trouble.
Now, if
we are prophetically literate we also know that this plan of the Jews to build
a third temple also plays into the plans of the New World Order, The Vatican,
the Masons, The Muslims and the Ecumenical movement as well as any other
globalists on the planet and this global desire for unity is pushing us ever
closer to the reign of the antichrist.
Remember,
if you will that in 2015 Pope Francis stood at the foot of the Freedom Tower in
New York City with 12 leaders of the world’s religions and announced the
formation of a one world religion.
We also
know that this global religion will form one of the three legs of the coming
One World government. The antichrist will gain global control when he has
control over religion, finance and politics and it is within this scenario that
the Mark of the Beast will be enforced on every citizen on this planet.
We, as
Christians, live in support of Israel, because we know from Zechariah 12:10
that they will one day look upon Him whom they have pierced and just like
Joseph’s brothers looked upon Joseph, not recognizing him at first, so they
will look upon Yeshua and they will mourn for their deeds and they will cry out
for Him in repentance entreating Him to come and to deliver them.
We also
know and understand from Romans chapter 11 that God Himself has temporarily
blinded the Jews in order for the Gentiles to be grafted into the “Olive Tree”
and that when the fullness of the Gentiles has come in, then He, the Messiah,
will open their eyes and He will save Israel as promised for as it says in
verse 29, “The gifts and calling of God are irrevocable.”
So it goes
that those Christians that are prophetically literate, (And there aren’t many
of them these days) must know that we walk a fine line when it comes to supporting
Israel. We do so because we know that in doing so we will be instrumental in
their finally embracing their true Messiah. We also do so because we ourselves
will reign with Christ during the Millennium and as it says, we will rule the
nations with a rod of Iron along with Jesus. Rev. 2:26, 27, Rev. 12:5, Rev.
19:15. So we are investing in our own future as well.
This
will be in answer to Jesus’ prayer, “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on
earth as it is in heaven.” So we know that only the true Messiah, the
Creator/Redeemer of mankind could ever pull off such a thing and to bring
global peace and holiness. Any man or devil who tries to accomplish this will
have to do it by force and according to the Bible this global governance will
result in the cruelest, most despotic government the world has ever seen. They
will kill anyone that doesn’t go along with them.
Even
now we see this global coalition forming as all of the pieces of the puzzle
come together and we are left wondering how to support Israel when the kingdom
they are now building will eventually be run by the antichrist and not the Christ.
Recently
Zev Porat (A prominent Messianic Rabbi living in Jerusalem) called a member of
the Sanhedrin and asked Him saying: “Since you have invited the nations to
participate in the dedication of your altar, does this mean you are accepting
Christianity as a viable part of Israel’s population and support? After all, it
is your Messiah that we worship.
Well,
the Sanhedrin member coughed and sputtered a bit because this is a very
delicate question requiring a delicate answer. So, not knowing what to say he
hung up. So Zev called him back and asked him again if the Sanhedrin will now
embrace the Christian population living in Israel as a viable part of what they
are doing and he said something to the effect that, “Well, yes we embrace all
who want to participate, but we don’t want to hear the name of Jesus mentioned
in our town.”
So Zev
answered back, “So it is our money that you want and you can’t afford to lose
our support because Christians are your largest supporters by a wide margin. We
believe in you. We pray for you. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem. We welcome
the reign of Messiah over the whole earth. So you welcome our support, but you
don’t want us to mention the name of Yeshua.”
This,
of course, was the end of the conversation, but I can imagine that this
Sanhedrin member is pacing his bedroom and sweating bullets because he doesn’t
have an answer to why they want our financial support but not our Messiah. He
is walking a fine line as are we.
Of
course we will not stop supporting Israel, because Jerusalem is the “City of
the Great King” and not only that but God told Abraham, that He will bless
those who bless them and curse those who curse them. Gen. 12:3. And it has been
true throughout history that those nations that bless Israel have been blessed
and those nations that have cursed Israel, have fallen onto the scrap heap of
time.
The
point is we must be wise in our support of Israel. Don’t just throw money into
everything that looks good. One never knows if we are actually supporting God’s
people or if we are supporting the Vatican, or the New World Order, or any
other of the global concerns that are currently building up the infrastructure
of Jerusalem in preparation for the coming antichrist.
Israel
is without a doubt the central hub of all last day Bible prophecy and as such,
it is the focal point of the clash of two kingdoms. Everything in the last days
from the Magog war to the battle of Armageddon is centered in Israel, for Jesus
will soon rule and reign from Jerusalem and right now Satan is seeking to
preempt the coming reign of the true Messiah and to create a fake millennial
kingdom in which he can elicit the worship and control of the entire planet.
These
are the issues that are taking place in our daily news. These are the signs of
the times that can only be sorted out with God’s help and an understanding of
end time Bible prophecy. Now, of course, in order to pull this off right in
front of our faces, Satan first had to lay the groundwork. He has infiltrated
and dumbed down Christianity by diverting them away from a study of Bible
prophecy and then by inserting a false Gospel and wrong motivation.
We now
worship and serve God for our glory rather than His. We give to get. We ask,
“What’s in it for me?” We pick and choose churches with the most comfort, the
best entertainment and the least requirement and we can no longer endure sound
doctrine. We have embraced the world.
What we
are witnessing right now is the great apostasy or falling away mentioned in 2
Thess. 2:3, 4 that will clear the way for the rise of the antichrist. We no
longer preach a Gospel that threatens him. We no longer preach Bible prophecy
that would expose him. We no longer live power filled lives that would rout out
his demon hordes. We are left with a form, but no power. We believe in the Holy
Spirit as a doctrine, but we no longer operate in His power. We no longer live
by His Spirit and instead choose to live by the flesh and then try to satisfy
God by warming a pew at church.
Friends…
most of us are living Christian lives that are not enough. We are weak and sick
because we have not rightly discerned the Body of Christ. We are no longer
truly connected to the Head.
“For
though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the
weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the
destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing
raised up against the knowledge of God and we are taking every thought captive
to the obedience of Christ. “2 Cor. 10:3-5.
In any
given church in America, there is only a small handful, a small core of remnant
believers who are actually living the life by the power of God. The rest remain
willfully blind, forever learning but never coming to a knowledge of the truth.
Why? It is because we don’t practice it. We only talk about it. After 50 years
of class we are still talking about what should be.
This is
why God is about to shake both the heavens and the earth so that everything
that is not of an eternal nature will be shaken out. We must seek God
diligently for the real thing, because our God is a consuming fire. If we don’t
allow Him to judge us now on a daily basis, He will judge us then.
Don’t
be satisfied just to play the Christian game. Ask Jesus to come in and to
cleanse your temple and to take up His abode in you. Learn from the Word how to
walk in the Spirit. (Romans 8) Make Jesus the Lord of your life, not just as a
nice idea, but as a daily, moment by moment walk with Him. Learn to live with
the conscious awareness of His abiding presence. Learn how to live by divine
appointment. Learn how to keep your lamp filled with oil so that you will not
be caught sleeping and empty when our Lord returns. Nobody can do these things
for you. Each of us must work out our own salvation with fear and trembling.
“Work
out your salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who is at work in
you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.” Phil. 2: 12b-13
Being a
Christian is an all or nothing proposition. The lamps must be filled with oil…
and this is done daily, even as the Menorah was filled with oil. The lamps in
the temple were never to go out. And we dare not light our lamps with strange
fire, for the day will reveal it. Our strength must come from the Lord. We must be both justified and sanctified if we
want to see the Lord. Heb. 12:14.
“For He
who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all from one Father for which
reason He is not ashamed to call us brethren.” Heb. 2:11.
Listen,
it is God who does all of this. Without Jesus we can do nothing. Our flesh is
completely helpless to do even one good thing. Flesh cannot produce spirit.
This is why we need the Holy Spirit dwelling in us and it is why we must make
Jesus Lord of our lives.
Paul
said to Timothy: “I know whom I have believed and I am convinced that He is
able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day.” 2 Tim. 1:12b. He
also warned Timothy saying: “Guard, through the Holy Spirit who dwells in us
the treasure which has been entrusted to you.”
Each of
us has a calling that we must answer and we must guard it through the Holy
Spirit who dwells in us,”… for we have this treasure in earthen vessels that
the power might be from God and not from ourselves.” 2 Cor. 4:7.
In
closing his interview with Derek of Sky Watch TV, Zev Porat said to Derek
Gilbert, (The anchor at Sky Watch TV.) It is highly important for Christians to
keep visiting the Holy Land, for many Jews are coming to Jesus now and
Messianic Jewish Christians in Israel are winning many both Jews and Muslims to
the Lord. In many cases Jesus is actually appearing to them in dreams and
telling them that He is the One they have been looking for.
Yes we
walk a fine line when it comes to supporting Israel, and that is why I believe
we need to know the players according to Bible Prophecy so that we can support
the cause of Yeshua in Israel and not His adversary. The same thing is true
here in America for if we are supporting those churches that are falling away
from the faith once delivered to the saints, then we too are contributing to
the rise of the antichrist.
I know
this article is long, but there is one more important point to point out; I
believe that we are witnessing something that Jesus described in one of His
parables. The King sent his servants out to tell those who had been invited to
a wedding feast for his son, but they refused to come, having all kinds of
excuses. So the King sent the servants out to the highways to bring in whomever
they could find both evil and good to fill His banquet hall. This is where
Jesus said that many are called, but few are chosen, but it is a picture of the
last great harvest.
Many
who claim to be Christians will fall away and give their homage to the Beast,
while the final harvest will bring in whosoever will. The poor, the lame and
the blind will come in and be saved and those who have been forgiven much will
love much. So let us come to the Lord with humble hearts and let us learn from
Him and seek Him with all of our hearts.
God’s
value system is different than ours… for
those whom we think will be great in the kingdom will be the least in the
kingdom, while the ones we tend to ignore as insignificant, the meek and the humble,
will be great in His kingdom. Let us never forget that.
