TAKING A NEW LOOK

                Seriously, I believe that people of all persuasions should take a fresh new look at Bible prophecy. I believe that those who sit on yesterday’s interpretations of final events may be in danger of missing important events and signs and signals just as God’s people did at Jesus first coming.

                Jesus never told us to make doctrines out of prophetic interpretation. He rather told us to watch and pray. I can’t remember what my English teacher called this, but the Bible nearly always places its instructions in a continuous sense. So when Jesus says to watch and pray, He is saying to keep watching and to keep praying. (For you do not know when the appointed time is.) Mark 13:33, or “Take heed, keep on the alert.”

                The Pharisees of Jesus’ day had a well- defined doctrine concerning the coming of Messiah, but it was a doctrine into which Jesus didn’t fit. Over the years their traditions had been shaped and formed to fit their own desires and what they wanted most of all was to be delivered out from under the iron fist of Rome. So they rejected anything concerning a suffering servant and chose only those statements concerning a conquering king.

                The same is true today, only now we have a thousand different doctrines and scenarios concerning the second coming of Christ. Pre-trib rapture people and post-trib rapture people are both in danger of missing the point. We are all concerned about the timing of events when in fact there are much more important issues at stake.

                The main point in all of this is that we are to be like Jesus when He returns… and how are we going to do that unless the very Spirit of Christ lives in us and has gained the ascendency over our flesh to the point where Christ is able to manifest His life and character and glory through us?

                We sit through our Sabbath/Sunday School classes year after year talking about what should be, but we never step out of the boat. The Christian life is a supernatural life. From our new birth on, our life is empowered by an otherworldly source. It is the Spirit of Christ that makes our spirit alive. It is the Spirit of Christ that empowers us to follow in Jesus’ footsteps.  I am dead and Jesus is my new life. Gal. 2:20

                Remember if you will that Jesus came to His disciples in the middle of the lake in the middle of a storm and there invited Peter to come out and to walk on the water with Him. Mt. 14:24-33. Again in Mark 6:46-52, Jesus came to His disciples in the middle of the lake.

                Again in Mark 4:35-41 It was evening when they set sail for the other side. A mighty gale came up so that the boat was taking on water, but Jesus was asleep in the stern of the boat. And when the disciples awakened Him He stood up and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace, be still,” And immediately a complete calm came and the storm ceased.

                Again in John 7:2-10, when the Feast of Tabernacles had come, Jesus’ brothers bade Him come with them to the feast in Jerusalem, but Jesus said that His time had not yet come. So Jesus sent them ahead, but later He went up as in secret and showed up in the middle of the feast. And it was at this feast that Jesus stood up while the water and wine was being poured out on the steps of the women’s court and said, “If any man is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of His inner most being shall flow rivers of living water. But this He spoke of the Spirit whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.”  John 7:37-39.

                So, what point am I making with these above examples? We need to realize that Jesus was not only fulfilling types, shadows ordinances and Laws of Moses and the prophets, but He was also creating patterns for us who live in the last days. Why can I say that? It is because the Fall Feasts have not yet been fulfilled. So the patterns He is setting for us, especially those surrounding the last days of His ministry and His Passion are patterns that we as His Remnant people will likely fulfill even as Jesus set them before us as end time patterns. Jesus will come to us in the midst of the storm and when He does we will immediately be on the other shore. John 6:16-21, maybe even Rev. 14:14-16

                But again I say that we are in danger of missing the whole point if we are not learning to live totally by His Holy Spirit, and walk by His Spirit and to be transformed into His image from glory to glory.

                But there is a sense of urgency to this message. I have reason to believe that we are about to witness another major transition into last day events. Nature is about to display a kind of violence never seen in recent history. Just as 2018 has seen major changes so 2019 promises to be an eventful year.We are about to enter that time spoken of in Luke 21:25-26, Heb. 12:26-29. Rev. 6:12-14

                “And there will be signs in the sun, moon and stars and upon the earth dismay among nations in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, men’s hearts  fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

1.       Signs in the sun, moon and stars may include the blood moons and eclipses and Revelation 12 and the return of the star of Bethlehem, but bigger signs are just ahead, for God is about to shake, not only the earth, but the heavens as well and this prophecy can be interpreted both physically and spiritually. Heb. 12:26, 27.

2.       Dismay among nations with perplexity, means that they will find no real solutions. Even now I see Trump’s hands being tied to a certain extent, so that even as he sees what needs to be done, he won’t be able to do it. Time will tell. This is what I would call perplexity and it is a kind of perplexity that will make earth’s population ready to receive the antichrist as their only hope.

3.       The roaring of the sea and the waves, can spiritually represent turbulence, anxiety, distrust and even evil intent as society becomes unhinged from biblical truth and righteousness, but on the physical plain, we see the oceans not only dying, but roaring and crossing their appointed boundaries to wreak havoc on the coastlands. We see nature turning on its head and it is about to become much worse.

4.       As for the powers of the heavens being shaken; most seem unaware of what is taking place on our planet and in our solar system.

                In 2004 the explosion of a Magnetar (an extremely dense mass of collapsed particles closely related to the power of a black hole) took place thousands of years ago that finally reached our planet in 2004. It clipped off a part of our atmosphere and our ozone layer leaving a gaping hole. That is when everyone started talking about climate change and of course, spearheaded by Al gore, they used this event to their advantage to gain control of people. They blamed the sudden gaping hole in our atmosphere and ozone layer on hydrocarbons or some such. The truth is when we reject God, then our god becomes Satan and he hates humanity. So, being filled with the spirit of Satan mankind becomes suicidal. We hate ourselves. Call ourselves undeserving scum on this planet… worthy only of extermination. Far from being created in the image of God, we become an accidental mutation of evolution…. Needing human upgrades… computerized enhancements… bio engineering… as in the days of Noah.

                The truth is all of the planets in our solar system are in deep trouble and turbulence right now. Mars is experiencing a planet wide dust storm. Jupiter is in deep stress. Saturn is acting erratically and Mercury is doing the same. Even on earth right now, our jet stream is acting radically and scientists fear that it is going to reverse. If so, then none of the places we now grow food will sustain food growth any more. Our planet is in deep trouble.

                Since our sun is in a solar minimum, the heliosphere is weak. Now the Heliosphere is that electromagnetic field created by the sun that surrounds and protects our solar system from cosmic radiation. But this in turn has greatly reduced the strength of earth’s own magnetosphere to the point where we are receiving 18% more radiation than we were in 2004. This radiation is bombarding our planet, heating up and expanding earth’s core, exciting subterranean gasses (such as Methane and pushing magma nearer to the surface) so that we are witnessing a major increase in earthquake and volcanic activity.

                Not only that but science and main stream news is now having to admit that there is a rogue planet of some sort entering our solar system that will bypass earth.  As this rogue planet, or dwarf star said to be about 10 times the size of Jupiter, passes by our earth, even though it is millions of miles away it will likely cause all of the cosmic signs we see listed in the book of Revelation including the falling of the stars, because this rogue planet is said to have a great cloud of debris following in its train that could cause a meteor show like none other as we pass through its tail. We call it “Planet X or planet 9” The book of Revelation calls it “Wormwood.” Rev. 8:11

                Even this winter we can expect to see Auroras reaching much farther south and an unprecedented rise in violent storms such as we are already experiencing around the globe only increasing in frequency and intensity. Crop failures are on the increase because of droughts in one area       and floods in another. Sink holes and volcanoes are set to increase as well as releases of methane gas from land and ocean floors and thawing tundra. WE also continue to lose our ice at the poles which is changing the patterns of our gulf stream thus bringing extreme weather to Europe and the east coast of America.

                The globalists will continue to seek control of the population taking drastic measures, blaming us for driving SUVs (although they won’t be able to explain why the other planets are having the same problems.)

                I hope they are wrong about all of this stuff and that life goes on as normal, but then what is normal? We are like the frog in the water pot and we keep adjusting to the increase in heat. And now we have to ask the question: Has America repented of its evil, its laws passed in the face of God? Has it returned to the Lord? Have America’s people looked at the signs of the times and repented? Have they acknowledged that we are coming under judgment from the Almighty? Have even the preachers started preaching repentance?

                Now, I’m here to tell you that God has a plan. It is one that He showed me a number of years back. (Not as a prophet but as a Bible student) He is going to pour out His Spirit amidst blood and fire and columns of smoke… when men’s hearts are failing them for fear. He is going to cause the former and the latter rain to come together in one month. He is going to reap a massive harvest of souls, but it will not come during times of ease.

                However it all turns out, there is still only one bottom line purpose for those who will be God’s Remnant people. We must prepare as a Bride adorned for her Husband.  And Jesus is coming to marry a Bride that is after His kind.

                “Beloved, now we are children of God and it has not appeared as yet what we shall be. We know that when He appears we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him just as He is. And every one who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself just as He is pure.” 1 John 3:2, 3

                “For whom HE foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His son, that He might be the first-born among many brethren.” Romans 8: 29

                “And He gave some as apostles and some as prophets and some as evangelists and some as pastors and teachers to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.” Eph. 4:11-13.

                I used to think that I could be independent of the church. This was partly because many churches are not living organisms of the Holy Spirit, but rather self- claimed repositories of doctrine. So if you accept their brand of doctrine, then you become a member… and if a member, then a presumed part of God’s remnant people. But this is not the role of the church. The role of the church as stated above is to bring us into unity so that “speaking the truth in love we are to grow up in all aspects into Him, who is the head, even Christ.”  Eph. 4:15. The role of the church, according to the apostles of Acts, is to make sure that every member is filled with and baptized in the Holy Spirit so that we all become living stones in the temple of God with Jesus Christ as our head.

                This is something far greater than intellectual agreement on a set of doctrines. We are participating in the very life of Christ, eating His flesh and drinking His blood and living by His Spirit and that is what the true church is. We live by the whole Word of God and not just the proof texts we use to prove our point of view. We are alive in Christ and since we are alive in Him we are growing up in all aspects into Him who is the head even Christ from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by that which every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.

                And as the Body of Christ we are warned not to grieve the Holy Spirit of God by whom we were sealed for the day of redemption. Eph. 4:30 It is an offense to try to do in the flesh that which can only be done by His Spirit    and thus many churches and denominations offend the Holy Spirit because they usurp His place in the body of Christ and dictate what people must believe. The also usurp the place of Christ in seeking to become our mediator between us and God. Do we answer to men or God?

                I say this, that if we answer to God alone, then we will find no loopholes, because the Holy Spirit searches the hearts and intentions of man. Heb. 4:12. We have a High Priest before whom we stand or fall… and it is to Him that we must answer.

                When everything hits the fan, we will gain a true assessment of our faith and now is the time to build up our most holy faith, praying in the Spirit… keeping ourselves in the love of God and looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. Jude 20

                Having a set of doctrines that dictate people’s beliefs tends to weaken the Body of Christ. Once accepting these doctrines they tend to place their faith in these rather than the Person of Jesus Christ.  IN addition to this it causes them to not seek out truth for themselves… to live by personal conviction of the truth, rather than a prescribed pattern or Catechism. Other than a general creed concerning the infallible nature of the Scriptures, the divinity of Jesus Christ and salvation and the New Birth through His cross and resurrection, people should be commissioned to study the Scriptures before God with the help of the Holy Spirit until they come to a knowledge of the faith once given to the saints.

                We need to study to show ourselves approved unto God just as Paul instructed Timothy. Each of us must give an account to the Lord and we will have no one to stand beside us but Jesus Christ. Let us learn to put our faith in Him. Unity is not going to come to the church intellectually until we are with Jesus. But the unity that Jesus is looking for now is that unity of life which is brought into our lives and through our lives by the Fruit of the Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit. We are His living Body.
