HIS LAST SERMON

HIS LAST SERMON

“You men who are stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears are always resisting the Holy Spirit; you are doing just as your fathers did. Which one of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who had previously announced the coming of the righteous One, whose betrayers and murderers you have now become; you who received the law as ordained by angels and yet did not keep it.”

“Now when they heard this, they were cut to the quick and they began gnashing their teeth at him. But being full of the Holy Spirit he gazed intently into heaven and saw the glory of God and Jesus standing at the right hand of God; and he said, “Behold I see the heavens opened up and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.”

But they cried out with a loud voice and covered their ears and they rushed upon him with one impulse. And when they had driven him out of the city, they began stoning him and the witnesses laid aside their robes at the feet of a young man named Saul. And they went on stoning Stephen as he called upon the Lord and said, “Lord, receive my spirit!” And falling on his knees he cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them!” And having said this, he fell asleep.” Acts 7:51-60

What kind of sermons do you think we will preach in the last great revival and harvest? AS our nation flounders in blood and fire and columns of smoke and people are finally listening. Are we going to preach prosperity? Name it claim it? ... Three points and a poem? …Psychology 101? … Three steps to happiness?

NO… God’s remnant believers are going to go forth in the Spirit and power of Elijah … ready to demonstrate with fire the difference between the God of heaven and Baal. The Luciferian hoards and globalist watchdogs will be standing by and ready to drag us away to the guillotine, but we will preach on fearlessly… nothing to lose and everything to gain, but our heart’s cry will be, “ Babylon is fallen, come out of her My people and partake not of her sins lest you also receive of her plagues.”  Rev 18:2, 4.

Even Christianity itself is in a freefall away from God. Many are embracing the world’s standards in every area of life. People are now choosing to attend churches with the least amount of Truth, the least amount of accountability, the least amount of confrontation with sin.

The Bible’s message is to be holy… to live holy lives by the power of the Holy Spirit. It tells us to put away sin, to die to this world and to be born into Christ’s kingdom. In this realm of Christ’s kingdom we no longer belong to ourselves. We live by His Spirit and for His glory.

Those who live uncompromisingly for Jesus and His Word today are hated not only by the world, but by a rapidly growing body of so called believers. I coined a phrase in my last article called “Dancing on the Titanic. What is the value of winning a first class ticket on a sinking ship? And yet Christians everywhere are abandoning the fundamentals of the Gospel and even the name of Jesus in order to gain passage on this ill-fated ship.

The church has been infiltrated by a well- organized army of infiltrators. They came into our Seminaries some 30 years ago, or in some cases longer and steered us off course. They diverted us to church growth and empire building rather than kingdom building. They took our giving to God and turned it into a self-centered “Giving to get” prosperity message. They steered the church away from a study of Bible prophecy until most church members today look at prophecy with disdain… and they have no clue where we are in time.

They turned the church members from active Christians to inactive spectators who expect to be entertained with the best music, the best speakers, the best lighting, the best sound, the most comfortable seating and the least truth.

When a church has to hold a committee to consider whether to embrace gay leadership, or whether to support or oppose abortion, or same sex marriage… when they have to decide which parts of the Bible they will support and which parts they will ignore, then they have already departed far from the Word and the Spirit of God.

I do not hate gay people. We have them in our family and among our friends. We love them and treat them like everyone else. But we have not been given the option as to what God thinks about it. To Him it is an abomination and He says so repeatedly throughout scripture. So now this is the issue that this very difficult problem brings up. Is the Bible the divinely inspired and infallible Word of God or was it written by men who were affected by their local culture?

This is the question we all face today and obviously the majority of religious institutions are embracing the idea that it was written by men in a different culture and so needs to be updated to be relevant to our present culture.

The Gay movement and the abortion issue (Two kingpin issues in our day) are driving society not only into division, but into a kind of hatred not seen in this country since the civil war. We have become divided as a nation and even as a church. But there is, if possible, even a bigger issue facing us on a global scale and that is the rise of the antichrist spirit which is pushing us toward a global government.

We should not be surprised if the world clamors after global unity. It sounds like a good idea on the surface… no more borders… no more wars…no more unfair trade deals… no more big gaps between the haves and the have nots… or so they promise in this move toward global socialism. (An empty lie, as anyone in Venezuela, or any other communist/Socialist country will tell you.)

But the church should be aware that the devil is in the details. A global power can only become global in scope if it can have absolute control of at least three areas: our politics, our finances and our Religion.

As Christians all three of these things should raise red flags:

GLOBAL POLITICS: points us directly to Revelation 13 and the rise of the Beast who will control the world in the last days. To embrace a global government we will of necessity be required to embrace the rule of the antichrist.

GLOBAL FINANCE: Again we are told in Revelation 13 that the Beast who rules the world will also control all of the buying and selling on the planet. At some point everyone will be required to receive a mark of some kind… something that makes us trackable… something that records every financial transaction and location… and to be without this mark will mean that you can’t hold a job, or pay your bills, or buy or sell food or clothing or electricity, or anything else.

GLOBAL RELIGION: Will require the blending of all religions as being equal. That will be step one, followed by the antichrist literally claiming to be God and requiring our worship to him and him alone. This may not be a problem for some religions. They can simply add another god to their mix, but this is a very big problem for true Bible believing Christians.

We worship the Creator of Heaven and Earth. We are created in His image and when we fell from His image, He entered into our world, became one of us and died in our place so that we could be reconciled back to God. But of this kind of God, there can only be One. Jesus said, “If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father. John 14:9.

The strength of His might was revealed when Jesus rose from the dead and was seated at the right hand in heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And God has put all things in subjection under His feet and gave Him as head over all things to the church, which is His body the fullness of Him who fills all in all.” Ephesians 1:19-23

“All power and authority has been given to Jesus in heaven and on earth.” Mt. 28:18

“An hour is coming when the dead in Christ will hear His voice and he will be raised up to eternal life.” John 5:24

Jesus said: “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.” John 6:63. He also said “He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life.” John 6:54.

“And beginning with Moses and with all the prophets, He explained to them the things concerning Himself in all the scriptures. Luke 24:27

“In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God… Everything that exists was made by Him…and that same Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” John 1:1-14

So we have a composite picture here of Jesus, the Creator God, the one who came to save us, who died for us and then rose from the dead, who has been given all authority and power in heaven and on earth and a name that is above every name that has ever been named… and this very same Jesus told us that His Word is true from Genesis to Revelation…also  telling us in the last book of Revelation that we must not add to or take away anything from His Book.

Friends, as we head into this final leg of the journey, we have no choice. We are either born again, Bible believing, Spirit filled, Spirit led sons and daughters of God through Jesus Christ, or we don’t even belong to Him. Rom. 8:9.

There is no possible room for compromise. Jesus is either the divine Son of God and His Word is the very Word of God; or none of it is true and we are on our own. But He is who He says He is and His Word is what it claims to be.

For 3500 years now the Bible has proved true even against the scientists the archeologist, the philosophers and all who would rise up against it. But to those who accept it, He brings salvation and healing and reconciliation and transformed lives. His Holy Spirit comes upon us and produces His fruit in us and pours out His gifts upon us and we have the most wonderful fellowship with those who have the same Spirit.

So if you belong to a church that is weakening its hold on the Bible, on the name of Jesus, on the Holy Spirit and power, on the principles and authority of God’s Word… if they are negotiating compromises in order to be accepted by the world or even by the sinking part of Christianity… it is time to get out of it and find a place where all of the above is still embraced and believed and lived.

As a watchman, I cannot be silent about these issues or your blood will be on my hands. I am not going to compromise with the Word of God, even though it may eventually land me in jail or worse.

Eternity lies just ahead and I am not going to sell out just for momentary peace and safety. And I hope and pray that each of you that read my articles has made or is making a similar choice.

Let’s face it. We really don’t know exactly when Jesus will take us out of here. On one hand in Luke 21:36 Jesus instructs us to pray that we will have the strength, or be counted worthy to escape all of these things… and on the other hand, we are told that we will be here to see the great falling away and the man of sin revealed and we are warned not to take the Mark of the Beast. (2 Thess. 2:3, 4) Therefore, we must be spiritually ready for whatever comes next and we must be ready to share our faith and to take part in the final harvest. Blessings to you, my beloved friends.

P.S. I write these articles not only for your own consideration, but so that you can have resources to share with others that you witness to. If I cover a subject that meets a particular need for someone you know, please pass it along. We live in desperate times when so few teachers are willing to deal with the deeper issues head on and without compromise… or to ask questions. But God is forming a Remnant ad we want to be in it. Selah.
