THE 6000 YEAR WAR PART 2

                Among Evangelicals and Pentecostals there has been resurgence of love for Israel over the past decade or two and along with it the rebirth of the Messianic Jewish movement. This is all as it should be at this time in earth’s history, for all of the prophecies concerning Israel and Jerusalem are taking place. Jerusalem is a cup of trembling (Zech. 12:1, 2) and of course Israel has come back into her own land having returned from all of the nations wherein she had been scattered. (Ezekiel 36: 24-30, 33-38, Zech. 12:7-10, Micah 4:1-8 provided to initiate your personal study)

                But there is a big problem. The church and even the Messianic Jews, in their zeal for the house of Israel, have often failed to discriminate between that which is of God and that which is of the antichrist in Israel. They therefore give carte-blanch to everything being done there, not realizing that one of the great controlling powers over Israel looks like a lamb, but speaks like a dragon.

                Not only that but the leadership of Israel itself is divided between those who want to preserve Israel for the Messiah and those who are part and parcel of the globalist agenda to bring the antichrist into global power.

                Israel is currently being set up to be the headquarters of the global government of the antichrist and there is no other reason why a tiny country the size of New Jersey should be chosen as a world headquarters other than the fact that Jerusalem is the city of the Great King from which Yeshua will one day reign, and Satan is doing his best to usurp the throne.

                It is doubly confusing for Christians who are Israeli supporters. They see Christianity flourishing in Israel and they think it is great and part of it is, but the beast that looks like a lamb, but speaks like a dragon is there as well, preparing Israel for the reign of the antichrist.

                So there is a true work of God in Israel in which many Jews and Arabs are being won to Yeshuah, but there is also a false Christian movement in which the kingdom of antichrist is being set up and we must pray to know the difference.

                The truth is many of the leaders of both Israel and America, whom we think are God’s men of the hour, are working to set up the globalist kingdom of the antichrist. No wonder Jesus started every discourse about last day events by saying. “See that no one misleads you” or ”Take heed that no one deceives you.” Mt. 24:4

                This is also why Paul in 2 Thess. 2:7-12 warned us saying: “For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way and then that lawless one (the antichrist) will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; that is the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders and with all deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved and for this reason God will send upon them a strong delusion that they might believe what is false in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness.”

                We need to take it seriously when Jesus informs us that if possible even the very elect will be deceived. (Mt. 24:24) and when John says in Revelation 13:8 that: ”All who dwell on the earth will worship him (the Beast or antichrist) every one whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slain.” And then John says: “If anyone has an ear, let him hear.” Rev. 13:9

                Do we have ears for the Word of God, or are we just listening to the media? Are we on God’s agenda or are we following the political agenda of the world?

                Here is what the Word of God tells us. Israel is going to be deceived by the antichrist. In fact they will embrace him as their Messiah until He commits the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION in their newly rebuilt temple. Jesus warns of this in Mt. 24:15 saying: “Therefore when you see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION which was spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (Let the reader understand) then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains…”

                Daniel speaks of this event in Daniel 9:27 in connection with the final week of the 70 weeks when he (the antichrist) will make a covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abomination will come one who makes desolate, even until the complete destruction one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate.

                Daniel 9:26 tells us that a prince is coming who is of the people that destroyed Jerusalem in AD 70 and from then until the very end war and desolations will be perpetuated. Daniel then places this abomination of desolation in the end times in Dan. 11:31 and again in Daniel 12:11 during the Time of Jacob’s Trouble. And if that doesn’t do it for us, Jesus reiterates the Abomination of Desolation as an end time event just before His coming in Mt. 24:15

                The Abomination of Desolation is a very specific event which involves desecrating the Holy Place in the temple by the abolishment of the regular sacrifice. It is said in Daniel 12:7 to occur during the 3 ½ years of the tribulation and this is where Jesus places it as well.

                Friends, I love Israel and I pray for her peace and I believe fully in Yeshua’s plans for her in the near future, but I also choose to watch my Bible very closely as events transpire in Jerusalem because I know that the great deception comes before the fulfillment of God’s promises and it will be because of that great deception and war that Israel will turn once again to the Lord and they will look upon Him whom they have pierced. (Zech. 12:10) and they will cry out for their true Messiah to rescue them.

                God knows what He is doing, for it will take something as drastic as the Time of Jacob’s Trouble and the great deception, to turn the hearts of God’s chosen people to their true Messiah Yeshua.

                For us it is important to understand the times in which we live. God is alerting us with blood moons and signs in the sun, moon and stars, and in the upheavals of nature and the drastic rising of the antichrist spirit, and the events in Israel that are leading to the building of the third temple as well as the headquarters of the antichrist. We see the religions of the world being gathered together by the false prophet. We see large portions of the church falling away from the full Gospel once preached to the nations. We see nations in uproar and cataclysmic events of all kinds taking place in the world around us. It is time to lift up our heads, for our redemption draws near. But we have a harvest to bring in and sin to be put away and our lamps filled with oil so that we will be among the wise virgins when He returns.

                Every morning I am faced with the daunting task of capturing in a few words, subjects that rightly require a whole book to cover properly. Therefore I can only provide food for thought and a launching pad for your own study and meditation.
