FACEBOOK
It’s
hard to tell what is real and what is not, but since Mark Zuckerberg himself
made the announcement we need to p be prepared. In case Facebook becomes
unavailable, I have a blog site on which nearly all of my articles are posted
on a daily basis. I will begin to link my articles to that blog site and if Facebook
becomes unavailable, then I will go completely to the blog site.
If you
are interested in reading my daily posts you will be able to find me at:
bibleprophecybyricklange.blogspot.com
Having
a blog site allows us to say things that would otherwise be censored on social
media sites. I think they really are trying to silence those who share the Gospel
and especially Bible prophecy. Bible prophecy tends to expose globalist plans and
they much prefer us to be ignorant.
This
does not affect those who already receive my articles by e-mail. I currently
send each e-mail separately and if anyone out there knows how to gang them
together to send them out all at once, I would be willing to take on more
e-mail accounts as well. Suggestions welcomed.
Facebook
has become a bit overwhelming since I receive anywhere from 50 to 150
friendship requests every day and many of them want to chat on line or on skype
and I simply cannot handle all of that. The requests all have to be vetted
since there are a surprising number of them that are links to porn or soft porn
sites and I can’t catch them all, or even vet them all.
There
are also dozens of fundraising pleas for orphans and such and it breaks my
heart to say no, but in reality one has no way of knowing which ones are
legitimate and which are not. Anyone can set a few raggedy kids up in front of
a camera and try to raise money and in fact many scammers do just that. But
there are real needs and desperate situations overseas and the scammers ruin it
for everybody.
Oh
well, that is the way with social media and I guess we just have to live with
it if we want to get the Word out.
I feel
called to write. I know the Lord helps me. How else could someone wake up every
day with something to say? I give all credit to Him, for I am just a vessel… a
clay pot into which He has poured water. If it comes out as wine, then it is
His doing and not mine.
Let me
say that I love all of you and I hope and pray that the things I write manage
to bless you and encourage you and inform you and sometimes even comfort you. That
is my prayer.
Your writings are truely a blessing. God bless
