CONCEPTION

CONCEPTION

There is a widespread belief that the church was born at Pentecost. After all, they were in one accord and they were baptized with the Holy Spirit and fire, just as John the Baptist had prophesied that they would. John had preached that he baptized with water for repentance and remission of sins, but one was coming after him who would baptize with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

This may seem like a splitting of hairs at first, but was the church really born at Pentecost or was it conceived at Pentecost? Think about it for a minute. Was Yeshua born when the Holy Spirit came upon Mary or was He born 9 months later? The answer here is obvious. When Mary said, “Be it done unto me according to Your word, the Holy Spirit came upon her and the power of the Most High God overshadowed her and for that reason the holy Offspring was to be called the Son of God. Luke 1:35.

Like I said, this may seem like a splitting of hairs, but it greatly changes the way we think about our lives. If receiving the Holy Spirit is our birth, then all we have to do is to hang onto it until He comes to take us home. But if the receiving of the Holy Spirit is our conception, then we are in a process of heaven bringing many sons to glory. Being born again is not graduation then but our entrance into the divine school of the supernatural.

In this divine schooling most of the church never makes it past the first grade. They get into the outer court by the blood of Jesus and then they sit there in a holding pattern, living mostly in the flesh.

When you are born again God creates a new spirit in you. This gives you the capacity to receive the seed of the Word spiritually rather than just mentally. But remember, conception comes as a result of intimacy and intimacy is found in the Holy Place and not in the outer court. Yes, you got saved in the outer court and it was the Word of God and the Spirit of God that drew you to that place of salvation.

But salvation is only the beginning of the journey and not the end of it. We became engaged to Jesus in the outer court, but the intimacy of marriage is reserved for the Holy Place where the Word of God and the Spirit of God and fellowship with God before the altar of incense, become the place of conception and development of the new life. The baby grows in us as we feed and nurture it and in this process God is bringing many sons to glory.

Well, enough of this analogy. What does it mean to us right now in this year of 2018?

There is a general consensus among the prophetic voices today that the great shaking is to begin this year. This is why the Lord keeps drawing me back to Hebrews 12. The entire book of Hebrews is highly important right now, but as for timing, we are now entering into the great shaking spoken of in chapter 12. God speaks saying: “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heaven. And this expression, yet once more” denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things in order that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.” (See Heb. 12:26-29)

What this tells us is that so much of what we call church today is an operation of the flesh… of created things, of man’s invention and tradition. But the bottom line is this:

In the great shaking, everything that is not conceived by the Holy Spirit will be shaken out. Even the good seed of the Word of God must be accompanied by the Holy Spirit and implanted in our hearts in such a way that it shapes and forms the new man in us, or it is dead.

In this way we can also understand the function of the Law.  God gave it to Israel on tables of stone and there is nothing wrong with the Law. It forms the foundation of God’s government and the foundations of every civilized government in the world, but having the Law or even keeping it doesn’t save us. It is only as the Law is planted in our hearts by the Holy Spirit and made a part of our very being that , makes us into mature sons.

This is why the Law was given on Pentecost and why the Holy Spirit was subsequently given on Pentecost. The first was on stone, while the second was written in our hearts by the Holy Spirit and into this we were conceived. It is so very ignorant to say that the Law was done away. The Law in fact came into its eternal purpose by the Holy Spirit and that was to bring many sons to glory. We are being prepared for something and it is oh so much more than merely warming a pew on Sunday, or Saturday morning.

We need to understand more about this great shaking because it will be of vital importance in our lining up either with Christ or the antichrist. Here’s what we know so far:

1.       The great shaking and the harvest go together. You can’t have one without the other.

2.       According to Jesus this is the time when the wheat and tares will be separated and Jesus said that the tares must be taken out before the harvest of the wheat can take place.

3.       But according to Hebrews 12, everything that can be shaken out will be shaken out and that includes created things. That is to say, the things that are of natural origin will be shaken out and the only things left will be those things which are of supernatural origin.

Well, what does this mean? It means that you can be taught a list of doctrines and you can join a church and become a member quite apart from anything supernatural. But all of that will be swept away because only those things that have been supernaturally conceived by the Holy Spirit will remain. Only those things that are eternal in us will remain. Being truly born again is a supernatural event. It is the time when the Holy Spirit creates a new spirit in you and you become a child of God.

Receiving the Holy Spirit as at Pentecost is supernatural. In the baptism of the Holy Spirit you are equipped to operate in the gifts of the Spirit to minister to others. Operating in the fruit of the Spirit is what brings us to spiritual maturity, while operating in the gifts of the Spirit enable us to do the works of Christ and even greater works than these because He has gone to the Father.

Again, what does that mean? It means that Jesus, while here on earth and limited by the limitations of humanity could not change us on the inside. He had to go back to the Father so that He could send the Spirit of God down into our hearts. Just like Mary then, we also are conceived by the Holy Spirit and in this way He is bringing many sons, not just One, but many sons to glory. This is why we are destined to reign with Him on His throne.

It is almost unfathomable what Yeshua has done… what God has done in coming down to humanity and then elevating us all the way to the throne of God for eternity. We are destined to be joint heirs with Jesus. Can you imagine? This is unthinkable and yet true.

Of this great thing that God has purposed from all eternity for the creation of man, Yeshua is the Head and we are the body, being knitted together in love and faithfulness by the Holy Spirit into one new man in Christ.

In the great shaking all of the manmade divisions between Christian denominations will be removed. Much of what we see of the structure of the church will fall away and what will be left is a faithful Remnant that will undoubtedly be persecuted by the church that has fallen away. After all, the great falling away makes way for the antichrist to rise to power which means that the apostate church will give their power to the Beast.

Let me insert here that Satan is also building a global unity of all religions, based upon compromise, but it will become the religion of the Beast and we need to understand these things for the Word of God and the Spirit of God will not be in this ecumenical move toward unity. WE must be able to discern the spirits at work behind things.

This is a fearful and dreadful thing that is about to happen and everyone likes to talk in glowing terms about the harvest, but they don’t like to talk about the separation of the wheat and tares, or the wheat from its chaff. God is about to come to His threshing floor.

In this end time harvest and separating of wheat and tares, we need to comprehend something that is incomprehensible. We need to understand that all of creation is involved in this. The convulsions of nature form a part of God’s judgments not only because God is judging the earth, but that creation itself, because of our sin and rebellion was subjected to futility not of its own will but because of Him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. Romans 8:20, 21.

The natural realm suffers under the same curses that sin brings. Violence and death in all of its forms are all directly related to man’s rebellion, for it placed our entire cosmos under the control of Satan’s rebellious principalities and powers. Satan is driven to destroy all of the works of God and he uses fallen man to do most of it through greed and lust and hatred. But nature was created to bring glory to God and as such, it is revolting against the combined sin of mankind. What we see in terms of volcanoes and erratic weather and disasters of every kind shows us that spiritual and physical forces are united in ways that they are only now beginning to see in the study of quantum physics. Nature is indeed reacting to mankind’s plunge into global rebellion.

This is why it is highly important for God’s remnant people to learn to live by the principles of heaven. We must at all times operate in love… the fruit of the Spirit. We must learn to operate in the ways of holiness and righteousness.  Everything we think and everything we do must come from a holy supernatural origin if we are to live above that which is falling and fallen.

This is what is so crucial about Romans 8. It is a key to our survival as a remnant people. We must learn to live entirely by the Spirit and not by the flesh. Religious games are coming to a crashing halt and all of our “Sesame Street” Christianity is going to be flushed away. Our children have a far greater capacity for the deep things of the Spirit than we have given them credit for.  And instead of creating a generation of spiritual giants, we have created a generation of frenzied neurotics that no longer know how to reason. Why? It is because we have raised them after the ways of the world, rather than by the ways of God… and the world is in the process of dumbing them down and programming them for violence and greed and lust.

I believe that 2018 is a momentous turning point for both the world and for the church. There is a negative as well as a positive polarity and we are going to begin to see the world and the church begin to polarize in a decided way beginning this fall. It is already well under way for those who have eyes to see.

There are, of course, major events coming that will kick start this process. Harvest is a wonderful time, but it is also a violent time of separation between that which will go into the barns and that which will be burned up. I can’t tell you whether it will be war, or natural disasters, or financial disasters, or celestial events. All we know is that it will involve both the heavens and the earth and that when it is through, everything that can be shaken will be shaken out so that what remains will be a pure, holy Spirit filled. It will be a powerful Remnant and they will be sons and daughters of God and they will reflect the image of Christ and they will do the works of Christ in the world. Like Moses before Pharaoh and Elijah on Mt. Carmel, the power of God will be demonstrated so that everyone that can be saved will be saved, for in that day, everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.  Joel 2:28-32, Acts 2:17-21

It is time to make sure that everything in your life has been conceived by the Holy Spirit, because everything else will be removed. Here what the Spirit is saying to the churches.
