WHEAT AND TARES, SHEEP AND GOATS

                The time of the great division has come. As we enter the final harvest time, we will begin to see the increasingly violent threshing of the wheat as it is separated from the chaff.                Jesus told His disciples that the two, both wheat and tares would grow together until the harvest and indeed they have, but now the time of separation has come.

                We can see it happening right before our eyes as churches abandon the foundations of the Old Covenant and even abandon the fundamentals of the Gospel. Great mega-churches have risen in the last few years that preach a message that the first church would never recognize. The popular gospel today has morphed into a worldly philosophy, a mixture of New Age and Spiritism along with positive thinking and self-help guidance in which the blood and cross of Christ are left out. Repentance and humility are out the window and replaced with a sort of “Be the best that you can be” sort of philosophy.

                This watered down church with its watered down message is now drifting toward a universal religion that is loosely encouraged by Pope Francis. He stood up with world religious leaders at the fourth blood moon in the fall of 2015 announced the formation of a global religion. And we have seen a gradual globalization of religious organizations ever since. Even parts of the Evangelical Church have signed up for this move toward globalism.

`               What does this tell you? It tells me that the church, having abandoned the study of Bible Prophecy is now drifting blindly into the very kingdom of the antichrist that the Bible warns about. They have begun building the church of everything goes and so the Holy Spirit has been replaced by a spirit that supports their non-biblical views. This, in my way of thinking, is a part of the great apostasy.

                I receive a prophetic magazine called “Our finest Hour.” It contains bi-monthly messages from a number of last day prophets such as Neville Johnson, Sadhu Selvarage, Joe Sweet, Bobbie Conner, Bruce Allen and others who are urgently calling the church back to repentance   and warning that we are at the end. We are about to move from the times of the Gentiles and into the Time of Jacob’s Trouble and the ministry of the Two Witnesses.

                Together these prophets are tracking the events that are leading us to the final harvest. There are two basic kinds of prophetic ministry in the world today. Some prophetic ministries keep track of everything that is going on in the news and in the world and they compare these things with Bible prophecy. That is one kind of prophecy. The other group, of which the afore- mentioned magazine is about, deals more with the principles of prophecy and where we are in the flow of time and God’s purpose and how we must react to it.

                Both kinds of prophetic ministry are important and vital and as Neville Johnson says, “The church that should know better is asleep.” Many have disengaged from bible prophecy. Many have disengaged from our Old Testament foundations. Many more have disengaged from the foundational teachings of the New Covenant such as repentance, self-denial, the cross, the blood of Jesus, obedience to God’s Word, living holy lives, separation from the world and its systems and lusts and so on.

                All of these things are foundational to the true Gospel, and unfortunately (for many) the Holy Spirit only supports the Word of God. If you choose to live by a different word, then you will also receive a different spirit that is not from God. You may even have miracles in your midst, but they will be from a different power. The bible has warned us of this.

                Friends, it is high time to come out of any church that no longer preaches the Gospel once delivered to the saints. Jude 3. This message rings true for us today for we must once again contend for the original message that was preached by the apostles and the prophets.

                “Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation it was needful for me to write unto you and exhort you that you should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. For there are certain men crept in unawares who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.” Jude 3, 4.

                Make no mistake about it. We have entered this time of separation and judgment. We have entered into the time of the great shaking when everything that can be shaken will be shaken. (Hebrews 12:25-29

                It is time for us to earnestly contend for the faith once delivered to the saints. We need to return to the fundamentals of sound doctrine and to the foundations upon which Christianity has been built. We don’t want to be a member of a goat church, nor do we want to be a part of a goat nation, (although we may not have much choice in that matter) but we don’t need to participate in the attitudes of the world, for we can have the mind of Christ.

                “Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things freely given to us by God, which things we also speak not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words. But the natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him and he cannot understand them because they are spiritually appraised. But he who is spiritual appraises all things yet he himself is appraised by no man, for who has known the mind of the Lord that He should instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ.” 1 Cor. 2:12-16.
