THE PRECIOUS GIFT

THE PRECIOUS GIFT

Very few people, even among Christians today fully appreciate the precious supernatural gift that they hold in their hands, or leave to gather dust on a shelf.             The Bible, unlike any other book in the world, contains the revelation, the will and the presence of God within its pages.

I would like to quote a passage from Dr. Michael Lake, one of my favorite authors as he shares his passion for God’s Word:

“No other book in history has so changed the hearts of humankind, guided civilizations to civility and prosperity, provided guidance and comfort in perilous times or been marked with thousands of prophecies that have been fulfilled with uncanny accuracy (with hundreds more waiting for their divine appointed fulfillment in the linear, flowing river of temporal dimensionality). At the same time, no other book in history has been so despised, outlawed by popes and kings, burned in the fires of desperation to extinguish its truths from the hearts of the spiritually hungry, or debated by spiritually blinded men in an effort to discredit its power and credibility.”

“My friends, when you hold the Bible in your hands, you are holding something supernatural. Your Bible contains truth that will both reveal and destroy the power of iniquity and Mystery Babylon in the life of anyone audacious enough to believe it. Yes, your Bible holds the power of God, the Words of God; it reveals the very nature of the Kingdom of God. The Bible will feed your spirit man, open your eyes to spiritual realities and teach you how to leave Babylon behind and walk in God’s kingdom alone. Your Bible should show the wear of extreme use, the tear stains of repentance and transformation and a life that no longer walks according to the course of this world or according to the prince of the power of the air that works in the hearts of the children of disobedience (Ephesians 2:1-2). The “Prince of Preachers” Charles Spurgeon was spot-on when he proclaimed. “A Bible that is falling apart usually belongs to someone who isn’t.” Dr. Michael Lake

Today we don’t attack the Bible directly; instead we pay homage to it even as we ignore it for the most part. We no longer connect it to present realities, but rather quote it more like Shakespeare. We use it to prove our doctrines and then ignore everything else that the Book has to say. We force God into a tiny box of human reasoning and then say we have the truth.

Little do we believe any more that the Holy Spirit lives within the pages of the Word. Hebrews 4:12 says: “For the Word of God is living and active and sharper than any tow-edged sword and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”

In today’s language we would say that the Bible is interactive, for as we respond to it, either negatively or positively it alternately blesses or curses us with closeness or distance from God. This is because we are either accepting or rejecting the Spirit of God that lives within its pages.

Jesus said: “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth; for he shall not speak for himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.” John 16:13

Today most preachers and most denominations avoid Bible prophecy like a plague and yet even in His description of His Word Jesus Himself describes it as showing us things to come. Prophecy is God’s calling card and proof of the veracity of God’s Word. To ignore prophecy is to ignore the body and framework of the Bible.

Jesus made some statements in John 6 that cause many of His disciples to leave Him, and dare I say that these words are still causing people to fall away? He said:

“I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats of this bread he shall live forever; and the bread also which I shall give for the life of the world is My flesh. He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life; and I will fraise him up on the last day. For My flesh is true food and My blood is true drink, He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me and I in him.” Then He goes on to explain in verse 63 saying; “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.” (John 6:51,54-56, 63.)

His Word is alive with His Spirit which inspired the writers and then on the day of Pentecost He sent down that same Spirit to quicken us so that the Word would become interactive in us as well. The same word that said “Let there be light at creation’s dawning, is the same Word that speaks light into our hearts, thus shattering the tyranny of Satan’s dark domain.

There is a fierce battle going on in the world today. It is growing in intensity as we near the end. It is a battle over the Word of God. Satan wants to destroy that Word in the hearts of men and to take the place of Christ in His coming kingdom. He wants to reign in the place of Christ and that is precisely why the globalist regime is Luciferian to the core. They are preparing a global kingdom for Satan to rule over as the antichrist Beast of Revelation 13.

We think it is alright to sit back and relax in our churches… to just roll with the flow. We don’t need to study the Bible. We just need to trust our pastors and our church bylaws and leave the studying to the theologians. But the sad thing is most of Christianity is already in the palm of Satan’s hand and the Vatican (The so-called head of Christianity) has become a throne to Lucifer and even though there have been true Christians within it, the Vatican has never been truly Christian and it’s very foundations have been Luciferian and pagan from beginning to end.

Likewise Israel lies within the clutches of Satan’s kingdom. Did you realize that the Parliament building in Israel was designed to occult specifications by the Rothschilds and that hidden on its top but visible from above is a very large pyramid with the all-seeing Eye of Lucifer on it? So when we say that we are Christians, or even Messianic Christians, we need to understand that Satan has taken over most Christian and most Jewish institutions. THAT IS WHY OUR ALLEGIANCE MUST BE TO THE WORD OF GOD ALONE AND NOT TO THE INSTITUTIONS THAT CLAIM TO BELONG TO GOD.

If then we are to bless Israel as the Word instructs us to, we must bless them according to Scripture and not according to the Zionist regimes that are (along with the Vatican) seeking to take Israel over and to set up Satan’s throne there.

The great falling away predicted in 2 Thess. 2:3, 4 is going to be most disconcerting. Many Christians will find their foundations washed away because they have built upon sand and not upon the Rock. They live by a second hand word from God as mediated by the opinions of men and watered down by preachers who no longer have the guts to call sin by its right name or to call their churches to repentance.

God warns us in Hebrews 12 saying: “See to it that you do not refuse Him who is speaking. For if those did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less shall we escape who turn away from Him who warns from heaven. And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying: YET ONCE MORE I WILL SHAKE NOT ONLY THE EARTH, BUT ALSO THE HEAVEN.” And the expression “Yet once more” denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken as of created things in order that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude by which we may offer God an acceptable service with reverence and awe; for our God is a consuming fire.” Heb. 12:25-29.

In these last days then, every manmade thing is going to be shaken out so that all that will be left is the Word of God and the Son of God. So if we have built our foundations upon the Word of God and upon the Son of God we will be okay, but if our faith is in a system and institution or tradition, we will find our foundations crumbling in the dust.

And we need to add to this that living by the Word of God also implies the Word of God as made alive and interactive by the Spirit of God so that in our relationship with the Word, we are being transformed into the image of Christ, (Eph. 4:13) and that we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. (2Cor. 10:3-5) And we must not be conformed to the world, but transformed by the renewing of our mind. And this takes place by the interactive Word of God and by the Spirit of God.

Last day delusions will sweep many away who think they are on solid ground simply because they have built upon foundations other than Jesus Christ and His Word.

Much of the church has become so dumbed down today that thousands of people will attend massive rallies where popular speakers will tell them only what they want to hear while ignoring what God might want to say. Their messages have been reduced to self-help anecdotes and promises of money and possessions.

Ephesians 2: 19-22 clearly tells us that God’s household is built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the corner stone in whom the whole building being fitted together is growing into a holy temple in the Lord; in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit.

In a very real sense we need to grab hold of God and His Word and claim them as our own. The Gospel belongs to the whole world, but it must first of all belong to you. His promises must belong to you. His instructions must belong to you. Don’t filter what you believe through denominational bylaws. Go to the Word and dig out the truth for yourself. Christianity has become weak because people presume they have the truth when they only have parts of it.

You need to get one on One with the Word and the Holy Spirit and ask Him to give you understanding. In the end you are not going to be judged by what you church or your pastor says. You are going to be judged by the Word of God and your relationship to it. (Romans 14:10-12)

Nobody wants to talk about judgment today and yet we are presently entering into the book of Revelation in its reality and one of the themes of the book of Revelation is a call out of Babylon for the hour of her judgment has come. This whole sifting process in these last days is a form of judgment in which we will decide upon which side we stand. We are being offered membership into the global community of Lucifer, or entrance into the Kingdom of God. One is ruled by Satan’s lies and the other by God’s Word of truth. One offers to make you a god unto yourself, while the other teaches you to place your faith in the God of heaven, His word and His Son.

“And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)

You don’t have to be a scholar. You simply need to come to God’s Word with childlike faith and to believe in Him of whom the Bible speaks. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. Don’t let religion, any religion get between you and Jesus Christ, for His Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth.

Go to church and worship and fellowship with other believers. Love them and serve them even as Jesus loved and served us, but we need to follow His example. He lived outside the system. He lived by the Word and He did only what He saw His Father doing and said only what He heard His Father saying. Thus He fulfilled all righteousness and infinitely superseded the righteousness of the Pharisees who claimed to have the whole truth.

This must be our example as well. Don’t wait to be spoon fed someone’s version of the Gospel, not even mine, or maybe even especially mine. Remember this:

“Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him.” Heb. 11:6

God’s Word is the most precious gift ever given to mankind. Jesus Himself was the Word made flesh. Jesus and His Word are one. When we accept His Word we accept Him. If we reject His Word we reject Him. It is that straight forward. So don’t let anyone or any religion stand between you and His Word. YOU come to Him. YOU believe that He is and He will reward you as you diligently seek Him.
