THE BLUEPRINTS OF SALVATION
THE BLUEPRINTS OF SALVATION
“And
beginning with Moses and with all the prophets, He explained to them the things
concerning Himself in all the Scriptures. “Luke 24:27.
In my
last article I wrote about the Messianic movement and from that you may think that
I am promoting my brand of religion, or doctrine or denomination. But that is
not what I am talking about really. I am not trying to convince anyone to
become a Messianic Jew. In fact everyone that believes that Jesus is the Messiah
is by definition “Messianic.” What I am saying is something more fundamental
than that. What I am saying is that we, regardless of our denomination or
persuasion, need to get back to the foundations of our faith.
We are
suffering an explosion of delusions and satanic deceits right now and I have a
feeling that this is only the tip of the iceberg. We are about to be hit by a
tsunami… a windstorm of delusions so strong and confusing that unless we
understand why we believe what we believe, we will be in danger of faltering
and being led astray.
So when
I talk about getting back to our foundations, I am saying that we need do as
Jesus did. Beginning with Moses and with all the prophets, He explained to them
the things concerning Himself in all the Scriptures. Well, why did Jesus start
with Moses?
2Peter
1:19-21 says: “And so we have the prophetic word made more sure to which you do
well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place until the day dawns
and the morning star arises in your hearts. But know this first of all that no
prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation, for no prophecy
was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke
from God.”
Okay,
so we have all of these men who spoke as moved by the Holy Spirit of God, but
by what standard may we determine whether they were speaking from the right Spirit?
Well, there was a difference between Moses and the rest of the prophets and
Exodus 33:9-11 tells us what that difference was:
“And it
came about, whenever Moses entered the tent, the pillar of cloud would descend
and stand at the entrance of the tent; and the Lord would speak with Moses.
When all the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the entrance of the
tent, all the people would arise and worship at the entrance of his tent. Thus
the Lord used to speak to Moses face to face, just as a man speaks to his
friend.”
So what
did God do and say in those face to face talks with Moses? He laid down all of
the blueprints of salvation, from creation, to the fall, to the plan of
redemption. He laid down all of the blueprints concerning the nature of man and
of Christ in the incarnation, His sacrifice, His resurrection and priesthood.
He laid out all of His designs in the Tabernacle and His appointed times and
epics in the patterns of the Feast days. He revealed the Lamb of God that would
take away the sins of the world who would then return as Judge and King of
kings.
He laid
down His prophetic agendas in pattern form and what was He doing? He was making
blueprints so that all subsequent unfolding of truth would be determined as truth
by the blueprint patterns already established.
In
these things God established for us where we came from, what our purpose is
here on earth and where we are going when it is all done. In other words, every
subsequent prophet was judged and validated by the blueprints God gave to Moses
face to face. These five books, Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy
make up God’s original blueprints, called the Torah.
So, all
of the Old Testament prophets had to line up with the patterns established by
God through Moses. So when Jesus came to bring us the New Covenant he did so in
fulfillment of every pattern concerning Himself in all the Scriptures. Jesus
was the living Torah, as witnessed to by the rest of the prophets. And so when
it came time to explain it all to His disciples, Jesus started with Moses and
then all the prophets explaining all those things concerning Himself in all the
Scriptures.
My
contention is this: If we, as the very elect of God, in order to escape the
great delusions that are about to come upon the whole earth, should we not
start where Jesus did and see if what we believe lines up with the blueprints
that God established through Moses and all the prophets?
Large
portions of the church today are saying, “We don’t need the Old Covenant. We
have a New Covenant.” And not only that, but they have also stopped studying
God’s prophetic outlines established by Moses in the Types and shadows and
feasts of the Lord. But they have stopped studying New Testament prophecy as
well. They have in effect detached themselves from God’s blueprints and His
patterns as well as His agenda for finishing His work in the world.
HOW ON
EARTH ARE WE GOING TO DISCERN THE DECEPTIONS THAT ARE COMING UPON THIS WORLD IF
WE HAVE THROWN AWAY BOTH THE BLUEPRINTS AND THE PLANS PROVIDED IN GOD’S EVER
UNFOLDING REVELATION?
How are
we going to stay on the right path if we fail to use the same criteria, by
which the Bible was authenticated in the first place?
I want
to say that I think there are two causes for the great falling away that we are
seeing taking place right now.
1.
The church has abandoned the foundations of the
faith as established by Moses
2.
The church has abandoned the fervent study of
Bible Prophecy by which we may understand the issues that the devil is throwing
at us.
There are
many sub-problems and moral and spiritual issues tied to these two things, but
these are at the heart of it and that’s why we have Protestants falling back to
Rome and Christians trading in their Biblical world view for a secular world
view in which they are no longer really Christians at all… and they think they
are saved because they came to the altar when they were 12 years old, when in
fact they have not been moved by the Spirit of God, or obedient to His word for
a very long time.
Let’s
face it: You can’t hear and obey the voice of God in your spirit if you can’t
read and obey God in His written Word… and you will not even have any criteria
for knowing whose voice you are hearing since you know nothing of His
blueprints to begin with.
The
Messianic movement then, as I see it, is not a new denomination or even a new
movement, but a return to the blueprints, the patterns, the feast days and the
prophecies by which God’s true agenda is laid out for us beginning with Moses.
There
are many people within the Messianic movement that don’t even know for sure why
they are there, except God led them there. Many think they are there to learn
the Jewish culture and language and Jewish dances and those things are fine,
but it is so much more than that… and you don’t have to be a Messianic Jew to
study these things.
We need
to get back to the foundations of our faith, to study the patterns and
blueprints so that when Satan appears as Christ (and he is doing so much more
frequently than people imagine right now) then you will know those lies that do
not fit God’s patterns.
People
in, say, the Ecumenical movement are largely abandoning God’s patterns and
prophecies in order to find unity. They then take this unity and surrender it
to the Pope because he seems the most likely candidate for leading the church and
perhaps the world into unity and peace.
As
such, the globalists are using this “Christian unity movement” to further their
globalist agenda, but guess what? Once the globalists have gained global
control, they will turn on this whore
(the false church) and they will destroy her.
We find this in Revelation 17:16, the chapter that describes the great false
religion of the last days. Saying:
“And
the ten horns which you saw and the beast, these will hate the harlot and will
make her desolate and naked and will eat her flesh and will burn her up with
fire.”
And in
this we see the grace of God for even at this late date in the final scheme of
things, we see God making a final appeal to His people to come out of this
fallen Babylon. Revelation 18 records this final call to God’s people to come
out and then it goes on throughout the rest of the chapter recording for us the
final destruction of the global religious and political systems of the world.
Then
Revelation chapter 19 records the marriage supper of the Lamb and the multitude
of saints in clean white linen rejoicing in heaven followed by Yeshua’s return
to earth with His saints on white horses,
to the battle of Armageddon and the final destruction of the global
system. Chapter 20 records for us Satan’s being bound and cast into the pit for
1000 years as well as including a final resurrection of a small group of
tribulation saints that were beheaded for their faith who come to life and join
Christ and the saints in His millennial reign. Then follows the second death at
the end of the 1000 years; as Satan is released to gather all of those together
that have, in spite of everything, rebelled against the government of Christ
and His saints.
Chapter
21 shows the creation of a new heaven and a new earth and then the descending
of that eternal city the New Jerusalem coming down from God out of heaven and chapter
22 gives us a final invitation to be a part of God’s eternity and verse 16
says: “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the churches.
I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright and morning star.” And then
there is a final warning saying: “I testify to everyone who hears the words of the
prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to them, God shall add to him the plagues
which are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the
book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the tree of life and
from the holy city, which are written in this book.”
WOW! The
book of Revelation is the only book in the Bible that promises a blessing to
those who read it; (Rev. 1:3) and a curse of eternal damnation to everyone who
would try to add to or take away anything from the book. (Rev. 22:18, 19)
So how
is it that so many “Christian” pastors are refusing to deal with the book of
Revelation, or with any prophecy? They say that the book of Revelation is
unintelligible… the mumblings of a deluded old man and why do they say this? It
is because everything in the book of Revelation is founded upon the blueprints
and feast day patterns of the Torah of Moses and since they have abandoned the Torah
so have they abandoned God’s outline for last day events.
So as I
mentioned above, there are two main problems with the church today. 1. They
have abandoned the foundations of the faith as established by Moses. And 2.They
have abandoned the fervent study of Bible prophecy and now you know why these
two are related. YOU CAN’T REALLY UNDERSTAND BIBLE PROPHECY UNLESS YOU FIRST
UNDERSTAND THE BLUEPRINTS AND PATTERNS ESTABLISHED BY GOD THROUGH MOSES.
Like Jesus
we need to begin with Moses and with all the prophets to understand the things concerning
Him in all the scriptures. And this is why God’s last day remnant people are
described as those who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony
of Jesus, which by the way is the Spirit of prophecy. The testimony of Jesus is
the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit is the Source of all Bible Prophecy. If we
reject prophecy, we reject Him. Think about it.
A true
Messianic Christian is one who believes that Yeshua is the Messiah as verified by
Moses and all the prophets, who will come again according to the patterns
established in the Torah and in all of Bible prophecy. Our roots must run deep
and our foundations strong. Don’t fall for cheap Christian sound bites. God is indeed
good all the time, but He isn’t an empty suit. His foundations are from
eternity.
