FOUNDATION STONES OF THE TRUE CHURCH
THE FOUNDATION STONES OF THE TRUE CHURCH
As I
was going through piles of papers in preparation for moving, I came across this
printout. I was shocked at its profundity and so I looked for its author, but
none was listed. Finally I looked through my own computer files and found this
article among my own writings. So I want to revisit this article today because
I think it is important. So here goes:
Well,
it’s 2 AM and I have just awoken from a dream in which the Lord gave me the
foundation stones of the true church… and now you can see why I cannot give
short answers to questions. But the wonderful thing is that we are not alone
and it is with a profound sense of awe that I continue on with this study.
There
are many foundational stones laid in the first covenant that are absolutely
essential to the identity of the true church. If any of these stones are
removed, then the church that removes them will join the false church in the
last days.
1.
There is the account of creation
2.
There is the account of Adam and Eve and the fall
of mankind.
3.
There is the account of Cain and Able and the
first roots of true and false (manmade) religion.
4.
There is Enoch who walked with God and was
raptured and taken to heaven
5.
There is the account of the fallen angels that
mated with human women thus corrupting the human DNA that made it necessary for
God to destroy the earth at that time
6.
There is the account of Noah (whose generational
DNA was still pure)and the great flood
7.
There is the account of Nimrod and the roots of
pagan (false) religion.
8.
There is the account of Abraham, the father of
faith and therefore the father of all who would be born into the true church.
(By faith we are Abraham’s seed)
9.
There is the account of Melchizedek to whom
Abraham paid tithes. The Melchizedek priesthood came before the Levitical
priesthood and before the law. This Melchizedek priesthood would supersede the
Levitical priesthood when Yeshua became our High Priest after the order of
Melchizedek...the law is now written on our hearts by the Holy Spirit instead
of stone.
10.
There was the account of Moses and the birth of
the true church, (God’s chosen people) delivered out of Egypt by the blood of
the lamb. (A perfect type of the New Birth.)
11.
There is the account of the Law given by God at
Mt. Sinai. Jesus said it would not pass away until all is fulfilled. The law on
stone is not for the righteous man in whose heart the law has been written by
the Holy Spirit. It is written for the sinner who has rejected obedience to
God. As such the law in stone still stands.
12.
There are the accounts of King Saul and King
David that represented dead religion of the flesh and living supernatural
religion of faith.
13.
There was the account of King David who
established the throne upon which Yeshua would reign for eternity.
14.
There is the account of the tabernacle of David
without veils and without walls that would be restored in the end of time. Our
Lord’s desire is to be with His children without veils.
15.
There is the account of both the tabernacle of
Moses and the temple of Solomon that would be patterned after the tabernacle in
heaven. The tabernacle is a picture of the nature of man and how salvation is
accomplished in us as triune beings. (spirit, soul and Body)
16.
There is the account of Babylon and the
captivity of the true church when she chose for a time to worship pagan gods
and had to face the results that come with losing faith in the true God. The
call out of Babylon represents a perpetual calling out of paganism to worship
the true God.
17.
There is the account of Daniel who while in
captivity received dreams and visions and interpretations that became
foundational to Bible prophecy. These prophecies were sealed up to be revealed
and understood only in the very end of time. This is now happening.
18.
There is the account of the second temple that
stood at the time of Yeshua and there is the account of the Pharisees and
legalism which form a contrasting backdrop to better display the Kingdom of God
which Jesus introduced.
19.
There is the transition from John’s baptism to
the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire that Yeshua would bring.
20.
It is important for us to understand that every
truth that we embrace in the new Covenant has its roots and foundations in the
Old covenant in the form of types and shadows, in stories, in the lives of
God’s church in the wilderness upon which our faith is built today.
Each
one of these foundation stones, if studied into, will establish fundamentals of
truth that cannot be deviated from. Each is worthy of a book of its own. Each
lays groundwork for a positive ID of the New Covenant, of the Messiah and of
the true church. The true church is not a denomination as such, but a group of
people who embrace truth and walk in it by faith. They walk in Spirit and in
Truth.
There
are many other foundation stones that have been laid in the First Covenant, but
these are the ones that the Lord gave me in the dream as highlight foundations.
And it is clear that the Lord is showing us that the true church will be built
upon these foundations. We dare not deviate from faith in these foundations,
especially as we enter the last days. Every one of them will be tested, but the
true church will not be shaken from her foundations.
It is clear
that this is why the Lord has guided us to begin our identification of the true
church with Moses. Nearly everything that we know about these foundations was
given to us by Moses and so, even though the first Covenant was written in
types and shadows, symbols and human experience, they are no less the church
than we are and it is into this foundational church that we are grafted when we
receive Yeshua as our Messiah and King.
Even
now we are witnessing the great falling away mentioned in 2Thess. 2:1-4. This
falling away will clear the way for the revealing of the Beast, the False
Prophet and the antichrist of Revelation 13 through which Satan will seek to
destroy the true church in the end.
So
ended the article and I am so thankful to God for stepping in to give us
clarity at times. It shows us how solidly the New Covenant has been founded
upon Old Covenant. The Law once written on stone is now written in our hearts
by the Holy Spirit. The Priesthood of Christ has moved from the Levitical to the
Melchizedek and thus embraces eternity. We don’t live in the Old Covenant, but
its types and shadows can correct bad DNA that enters into the church and new
truth will never disagree with the foundations which God has given us in His
ever progressive revelation.
This is
why it is so important to understand that the New Covenant does not do away
with the Old Covenant but rather builds upon it. I hope this has been helpful
to you. There are some things worth repeating, for when a church begins to do away
with the foundations of the faith; people are left in a world of situation
ethics and an increasingly non-biblical world view.
Each of
these 20 statements if studied into will provide abundant understanding of what
we believe as Christians and why. Selah.
