BLUEPRINTS (PART 2)

                “But as many as received him, to them gave he the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name. John 1:12.

                “Please do not underestimate the earth-shaking revelation in this statement by the apostle John; an unprecedented, supernatural miracle was now available to humanity through the shed blood of Jesus: they were given power to become the sons of God. The Greek word that John chose to use for “power” is exousia which means, “The power of choice, liberty, the power of authority, or ability.” What is overlooked in connection to our current discussion is that from Adam to Jesus, no one had the power of choice to become a son of God. In fact Jesus alludes to the fact that humanity’s father had become the Devil.” John 8:44, 45. Dr. Michael Lake.

                In Luke chapter 3 Luke, in tracing the genealogy of Jesus back to the beginning, tells us that Adam was the son of God. Adam was created as a son of God. He was a human vessel in which the Spirit of God dwelt. His body was a temple of the Holy Spirit.

                But we rarely talk about the earth shattering Universe changing event that took place when Adam and Eve sinned. All of creation belonged to God and was filled with God and God gave Adam dominion over that creation as a son of God. He was to inherit the family business so to speak and Adam was created from the beginning to handle that role.

                But when Adam and Eve believed the words of the Nachash (The flaming serpent, or fallen Seraph) the spirit of God departed from Adam and from all of creation and the dominion so recently given to Adam fell to the Nachash and the entire physical creation became the legal territory of Satan.

                The enormity of this change cannot be overstated. Satan became the god of this world and man’s spirit that had been connected to and married to the Holy Spirit of God, was now connected to and ruled by the spirit of this world… Satan.

                In the book of Job it says: “Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord and Satan came also among them.” Job 1:6

                Wait a minute, what was Satan doing in heaven? Had he not been kicked out of heaven? Yes, but Adam was a son of God and when he disconnected from God and reconnected to Satan, Satan then regained a legal right to the divine council. He was now the legal representative of earth and of the physical creation. This is very real. There is no play acting going on here. Satan, through Adam’s fall, gained legal authority over creation and the territory of earth no longer belonged to God.

                There is of course a greater context in which the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, but that is only spoken in the faith that a new Son of God would buy the earth and all of creation back.

                It is in this context then that we begin to get a picture of what God did in calling Abraham out of Satan’s system and the only reason God could even do that is because Abraham was a man of faith who agreed to follow God even though he lived in enemy territory.

                Jesus once said to the Pharisees: “You are of your father the devil and the lusts of your father you will do.” John 8:44 and what this tells us is that they were still living in Satan’s kingdom. They were citizens of Satan’s realm. They had been called out of Ur in Abraham and called out of Egypt under Moses and there on Mt. Sinai, God gave Moses all of the blueprints for salvation. And since they were as yet incapable of fulfilling the righteousness that the Law required, they were given a temporary sacrificial system wherein an innocent Lamb would bear the penalty of their sins.

                Even at that, the slaughter of an animal could not truly atone for their sins and so even the sacrificial system hinged upon a true Lamb of God, the Son of God, coming into the world to regain what Adam had lost and to restore that dominion to those who would receive Him.

                This salvation that Jesus accomplished is the wonder of the universe. How could the human race, traitors to the kingdom of God and sons of Satan, be redeemed and purged of the very spirit of this world and reconnected to the Spirit of God? How could they be reinstated as sons of God after having been married to the fallen rebel Lucifer?

                Peter was flabbergasted when he began to fully understand this salvation. He said in 1 Peter 1:12: “Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; WHICH THINGS THE ANGELS DESIRE TO LOOK INTO.”

                We take it so lightly being born again. According to John as in our opening text he too marvels saying: “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.” Our acceptance of Jesus as our Savior, gives the Holy Spirit the legal right to enter into us and to kick Satan out and to make us into new creatures… sons of God.

                Until we are Born Again we too are sons of our father the devil. We live in enemy territory, we are filled with his spirit, we live according to the dictates of this world system and when we are born again, whether we can see it or not, we become glaring lights in an otherwise spiritually dark kingdom. . We have power as sons of God to defeat the enemy and to send his demons fleeing in 7 ways, but most of us do not understand either our position or our potential. We have been given a power that we rarely use and so we limp along in this system of darkness trying to get the best out of both worlds and failing in both for the most part.

                As the one and only Son of God, begotten by birth into the human race, Yeshua has the power and the right to restore to us that which Adam lost. So; being born again means that we must die to the kingdom of Satan and we must be born again by the Spirit of God into the kingdom of the New Adam Jesus Christ.

                And to accomplish this infinitely impossible task, the Messiah could not be a mere angel. Yeshua was not an angel and He never was an angel, neither was He one of the sons of God spoken of in Job 1:6. He became a Son when He was born into the human race, but prior to that incarnation He was Almighty God as Isaiah 9:6, 7 tells us. And if we want to refute it there then we can see it in many other places because the blueprints of God demand that God Himself be the ultimate sacrifice for nothing less could redeem this rebellious and fallen race.

                Titus 2:13 says: “…looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus.

                But we have effectively sectioned off the power He has given us to become sons of God and we have replaced it with license to sin and be forgiven, sin and be forgiven and we call it grace; but grace is not only forgiveness, but power to become the sons of God as we walk in His footsteps by faith.

                The New Birth then is a clear dividing line. We die as citizens of this world and we are reborn as citizens of the Kingdom of Yeshua. We now live lives that fulfill the blueprints of salvation first laid out by Moses and then made possible by the Holy Spirit beginning at Pentecost. See Romans 8:4.

                The blueprints are fulfilled in us who walk not according to the flesh (Our flesh is still a part of Satan’s kingdom) but according to the Spirit of God that has now taken up residence in our spirit.

                Think about it: even though God established all of His blueprints of salvation through Moses, He could not actually enter into mankind and fulfill the blueprints until Jesus came and reconciled us to God through the cross, paying the ultimate debt for our sins, and covering our sins with His infinite blood so that His Holy Spirit could finally enter into the hearts of those men and us that had recently belonged to the kingdom of Satan.

                This is why Jesus said that we must be born again. He could not enter into the Israelites there at Mt. Sinai. And so, He had to dwell instead in a sanctuary in which the patterns of salvation were encoded. Man, as a tri-part being, spirit, soul and body, is now represented by the tri-part tabernacle and in it we are shown that God dwells in our spirit. It is in our spirit that we are first born again and then we submit our bodies and souls to live by that new spirit rather than by the desires of the flesh.

                In this way we are being transformed from glory to glory into sons of God and the end result will be that we will be in the image of Christ.

                Paul says in Ephesians 3:20: “Now unto Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works WITHIN US.”

                `Then in chapter Eph. 4:13, Paul talks about the five-fold ministry that is building up the body of Christ; UNTIL WE ALL ATTAIN TO THE UNITY OF THE FAITH AND OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE SON OF GOD, TO A MATURE MAN, TO THE MEASURE OF THE STATURE WHICH BELONGS TO THE FULNESS OF CHRIST.”

                You see, there is a different Gospel being foisted upon the church today a false kind of grace that says God likes us as we are and so we can live as citizens of Satan’s kingdom and then run to the altar once in a while to get forgiven with no intention of putting away sin or living by the Holy Spirit that He has placed in us when we are born again. But according to the blueprints, that is not the Gospel that Jesus Christ died to bring us. He is the pattern Son and His mission is to bring many sons to glory so that we might reign with Him.

                As predicted by Paul in 2 Thess. 2:1-4 the church is drifting off its foundations and we are ignoring the blueprints of salvation and as a hopeful Remnant people, we need to do what Jesus did. We need to return to the blueprints to see what we are missing and what the church has been missing ever since it thought to change times and laws. Daniel 7:25. WE need to begin with Moses and all the prophets.

                What did Satan use the pagan/Christian church to do? He caused them to change the blueprints, the Laws, the calendars, the Feast days, the appointed times and to replace them with pagan times and feast days so that the patterns would be effectively obliterated               and erased  from man’s consciousness.

                And so, here in the end times we see the beginnings of a great falling away. It started way back when the church severed its connections with God’s chosen people the Jews through whom all of the patterns and the Messiah came and they set about to create a religion more suitable to the flesh and to pagan sensibilities.

                In these last days, we are seeing the rise of the final antichrist, the final conflagration, the final showdown between the kingdom of Jesus Christ and the kingdom of Satan. And in preparation for this Great War, we need to return to the blueprints, not to become legalistic because the Law cannot save us.  What we need to understand are the blueprints, the patterns of salvation from which we have drifted.

                We need to join Jesus in “beginning with Moses and with all the prophets, we need to understand the things concerning Him in all of the Scriptures. We need to understand just how awesome this plan of salvation really is for as it says in Romans 8:19-23:

                “For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility; not of its own will but because of Him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now. And not only this, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body.”

                God’s program is to bring many sons to glory. As sons, our pattern is Yeshua and as the pattern Son, Yeshua fulfilled every pattern and blueprint established by Moses and the prophets.

                We don’t live by the Old Covenant. We live by the power of the New Covenant, but when the New Covenant gets torn off of its foundations, its blueprints and patterns, then the church becomes vulnerable to Satan’s lies once again ad as we are told in Revelation and in many other places, large portions of the church will actually do as the first Adam did and give over their authority to the Beast.

                So; do you want to become a son or a daughter of God to reign with Yeshua in His coming kingdom, or do you want to just play church by never really living the Born Again life?

                “For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God. Romans 8:14
