CONVERSATION November 9, 2017

RICK       Lord Jesus, I want to thank you for Joshua 1:9. Yesterday morning I was confiding in Bonnie concerning my doubts and fears concerning the move. I fear for her well-being as she is taken away from dear friends and divine purposes. So as I was talking to her about these things, she picked up a pen that neither of us had seen before. It had a cross on it and small print which she put on her reading glasses to read. It said Jos. 1:9. So we looked up the bible text to see what it said and it said: “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble, or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

                This whole episode was a miracle in Rema revelation. First of all we had never seen the pen before. Secondly we would not usually bother to read what was on the pen. Thirdly we would not usually take out a Bible and look up the verse. And thirdly, no other verse could have been so perfectly fitted to our conversation at that very moment.

JESUS    I understand your doubts and fears. They are not selfish ones because they involve fairness to Bonnie. As a good husband it is only right that you be careful of your wife’s welfare and happiness.

                It is not going to be easy for either one of you to adjust. You will undergo a radical change in your sense of purpose and culture. Do not allow your passion to wane or your eye of faith to grow dim. I have trained you to walk in my covenant. I have trained you to love and to serve. Now I must train you to find your confidence and stability in Me.

                It is so easy for humans to begin to put their faith in the predictable. This is what church seeks to provide and there is nothing wrong with that to a point. But that is not the way it was with my Patriarchs and Prophets.

                They had no liturgies, no programs, and no human support. They walked and talked with Me. their security was in Me. I was the object of their faith.

                I designed my church as a sanctuary of faith, a support system for those in training. But even a church will grow stagnant and fall back into tradition if it does not have its prophets. Without vision the people perish. Without vision they begin to seek security in the system rather than in Me.

                It is the prayer warriors, the intercessors and the prophets that stir up the faith and passion of the people. I have called you to be such a one if you will accept it.

RICK       Lord Jesus, like my father before me I have always desired to understand the bigger picture… the context into which all other issues and purposes fit. Am I right to understand that my prophetic role is not so much that of prediction as it is a matter of divine perspective?

JESUS.   That is right Rick. Ask Me for wisdom and insight. Look to Me for understanding. Humble yourself before Me. Do not rely on your own understanding. Avoid political discussions except to briefly provide context, or backdrop for My plans and purposes. As you can see, the world is moving deeper into controversy. The issues are becoming more confrontational on every front.

                Even My great signs in the heavens have gone largely unnoticed. They either ignore them or fit them into their own secular contests.  Therefore I will soon increase these signs and wonders. Soon they will no longer be able to ignore them. Their hearts will fail them for fear at these things that are coming upon the earth. I will soon shake both the heavens and the earth. I am moving you to a place of safety for great judgments are coming upon the land. The West coast is ripe for an awakening and for judgment. I am calling you like Lot out of Sodom.

RICK.     Lord, there are so many of your faithful and wonderful people here. We hate to leave them because of their love for us and ours for them. Will you destroy the righteous with the wicked?

                JESUS.   Some I will take to be with Me for they are ready. Others I will preserve to carry My gospel of the Kingdom for the final harvest. Still others I will lead to repentance by removing their security in earthly things. Many will die because they have never made me their dwelling place.

                “For you have made the Lord, my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place." No evil will befall you, nor will any plague come near your tent.” Ps. 91:9, 10.

                Many claim Psalm 91, but they do not dwell in the secret place of the Most High. Now, because of your earnest prayers concerning your children and grandchildren I am sending you and Bonnie to be a covering for them. This is a part of the covenant of my blood that the two of you walk in and partake of in the morning.

RICK.     I worship You, Lord God Almighty, for you have heard my prayers and you have read my thoughts. You have heard the deep longing of my heart. You have given both bonnie and me a rare opportunity to be both parents and grandparents. Please Lord; give us wisdom to say what must be said and to leave unsaid that which must be left unsaid.

                I pray that you will guide us to just the right home and property where our Children and grandchildren will desire to come. Anoint it with your presence, your peace and joy. Guide us to this anointed place according to Your plans and purposes.

                JESUS.   Keep your eyes on Me Rick. Put your faith in me like never before. I am moving you out into deep water. I am asking you to cast your nets on the other side of the boat.     You do not know what all of this means at present. You want to ask questions. You want answers that can only come in the providence of time.

RICK.     You are so right Lord. I want to ask about a churchy. I want to ask about our future ministry. I want to know whether you deem messianic worship as an important part of our future. Do we continue on with the Sabbath as it is in the Law or as it is in You.

                You know Lord that both Bonnie and I hunger for a deeper emotional and heartfelt worship to You. We long to linger in Your presence, to feel once again the flow of your powerful anointing presence in the congregation. We have never cared for the liturgy, or the quick running off of the songs so as to leave no time for contemplation.

                Surely you gave us all of our faculties including emotions and imagination for the purpose of beholding You and experiencing Your presence. Surely we must be in the Spirit in order to enter into the invisible realms of Your Spirit. Is this not important to You as well?

                JESUS.   I desire your entire being: spirit, soul and body to be involved and consecrated to Me in worship. This is one thing that conservative Christians have never understood. They call for silence when I am calling for shouting. I want them to clap their hands, shout for joy, dance exuberantly, blow the shofars, crash the cymbals, come before me with shouts of joy, making a joyful noise unto the Lord.

                People fear to do this partly because of misguided traditions and partly because they are more self-conscious than God conscious. In vain do they worship me teaching as doctrines the commandments and traditions of men.

                There is a time for the solemn assembly, which many are not careful to observe. They do not understand either the appointed times or the seasons which I have set for prophetic worship. They forget that David was a man after My own heart.

                There is no place in My house for legalism, for liberalism or for conservatism. Only that which comes forth from MY Spirit has any eternal value. I am Spirit and those who worship, must worship Me in Spirit and in Truth.

                So many of My people are in the ditch on one side or the other. People in one ditch are shouting over to the people in the other ditch, telling them that they are wrong. My Gospel of the Kingdom contains both Spirit and Truth in perfect balance and the end result is My power. The works that I do and even greater works shall they do…”

RICK       As always Lord, You teach me so much and I can only stand in awe in the presence of a Holy God.
