HAVING THE MIND OF CHRIST

                As we look at the above aspirations of Satan and his people for a one world, global kingdom; it becomes obvious why we must have the mind of Christ. Even as Satan dreams of being the head of an elite body that has become of one mind, united in purpose with their head, even Lucifer; so Jesus Christ, the Creator and Redeemer of this world asks us to share His heart and mind in unity and purpose as He works out His will on earth.

                No matter how intelligent and independent we may think to be, we are either connected to the mind of Christ or the mind of Satan and the fruit we bear will show which mind we are connected to.

                The devil has his spells, his incantations and his rules and dogmas. He rules by force… by domination and intimidation, by seduction and possession. He paints his traps with glitter and fortune and sex. He lures people in with sensuality, with addiction, with a thousand other things that look appealing to the flesh, but end in a downward spiral of destruction.

                Satan says, “If you want the good life… go for it. You are the captain of your own soul. Go for the gusto. Go for the best, you deserve it. Have it your way.” So he paints a highway of freedom for us lined with pleasures and rainbows and thoughts of Utopia. The Satanic Tea Parties that march in our streets today hate freedom; they despise everything that America stands for, especially as it reflects a Judeo/Christian underpinning. They are sheeple carrying signs made for them and they don’t even understand the issues. They have been brainwashed by years of Luciferian propaganda.

                We have often been misled into thinking that America was built upon Christian principles. Well, in a general sense any government that provides freedom and equality for all is in a round -about way based upon Christian ideals. But our founding fathers were deists and Masons who wanted to restore the greatness of Greek and Roman culture. They followed the writings of Sir Francis Bacon and Plato in wanting to create a new Atlantis.

                It was the Pilgrims and the Puritans who came to this country longing for religious freedom… it was the great evangelists of the 17^th and 18^th centuries that won America to Christ and forced the Luciferian agenda underground. So for 200 plus years now, the global elites have been working subversively behind the scenes to infiltrate our governments, our churches, our schools and every branch of our media with seductive Luciferian programming.

                As we can see, their program has worked and now they feel that they have won enough of society over to come out in the open with their agendas. And new generations, unknowingly soaked in Luciferian dogma, now begin to fight to overturn the Judeo/Christian ethic along with every trace of the faith that our Spiritual forefathers brought to this land.

                Unfortunately even large portions of the church have adjusted to new paradigms and let down the walls of protection to the point where they don’t even understand what is happening. They now pride themselves in being free from the laws and restraints of God. The Gospel has in many places lost its nation- changing power and conviction that once forced the Luciferians underground and just as the Bible predicts, we are entering into a time of mortal combat. Lucifer and Yeshua are facing off in the persons of their followers and only God’s Remnant will remain standing in the end. They are described as keeping the commandments of God and holding to the testimony of Jesus. (Rev. 12:17, Rev. 14:12)

                We are criticized as legalists, even by many Christians if we believe in obedience to God. But I don’t understand how we can seriously worship Yeshua as Lord and King, while at the same time ignoring His governmental platform. He is the King of a kingdom and Yeshua came to show us how His kingdom and obedience looks in the New Covenant.

                The Law is written in our minds and on our hearts and it should not come as a surprise to anyone since it was prophesied in the Old Covenant in Jeremiah 31:31-40. Every Christian and Jew should study these verses carefully.

                The difference between the Old and the New Covenants is that in the New, we receive the very Spirit of Christ and this Holy Spirit produces His fruit in us and the fruit of the Spirit fulfills the law. In other words, if we set out to keep the Law as it is on stone, we will fail, for all have sinned and since there is no forgiveness written into the Law, we are doomed to death. That is why a substitutionary death of an innocent animal was  made to die in the sinner’s place until the true sacrifice of the true Lamb of God could come who was great enough to take on the sins of the whole world.

                Satan offers us freedom from the Law of God, while Jesus offers us freedom from ourselves. We are born as sinners under Adam and the only way to get rid of this hell bent person that we are is to die.

                Jesus offers us that death as we by faith enter into His death. But now this does a strange thing. Once we are dead, the Law as it is on stone no longer has jurisdiction over us, but as we are born again, the Spirit of Christ breathes new life into us and we become children of God who begin to produce in our lives the fruit of the Spirit and that fruit fulfills the Law. Love is the fulfillment of the Law.

                The Pharisees thought that Jesus was a Law breaker because He did horrible things like healing the sick on the Sabbath. But Jesus walked in the Spirit and so He was fulfilling the Law in ways that they could not even have comprehended in their day. It was right there in Jeremiah 31, but they did not recognize it and they sought to put Him to death.

                Today we as Christians are to fulfill the Law in the same way as Yeshua did. The letter kills, but the Spirit brings life. We don’t fulfill the Law by becoming legalists… we fulfill the Law by becoming Spirit filled and following in the footsteps of Jesus. We enter into His death by faith and then we begin to walk and live in the power of His Holy Spirit. Our bodies are now temples of the Holy Spirit.

                But this walk in the Spirit of Christ puts us into direct conflict with the Luciferian agenda. It is not Law keeping that drives Satan Crazy, because if we set out to keep the letter of the Law, Satan knows that he’s got us. No one other than Jesus has ever fulfilled the Law perfectly, so if we mess up even once, Satan rubs his hands together in glee. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.  So this is like the old adage, “You can’t get there from here.” By keeping the Law we never arrive at the Law, so if it is said of the Remnant that they keep the Commandments, it must mean then that they are walking in the Spirit as Jesus walked in the Spirit and the Holy Spirit is producing the fruit of the Spirit in their lives.

                So this is the life that drives Satan crazy and it is this kind of life that Satan is now seeking to snuff out. And we can see that Satan is now beginning to engage in open warfare against the Spirit of Christ in His people. They call every good thing bad and every bad think good. They pervert and twist every good thing into an evil thing, celebrating openly sins that once would have shamed them into secrecy. They call it freedom, but the end thereof is death.

                Friends, it is not enough just to keep the church rules or even to keep the Commandments of God. We need more than that. We need the mind of Christ and we need the Spirit of Christ. And so I will leave you with a few Bible texts on the subject to encourage you and to strengthen your faith. We are facing the battle of the ages, the confrontation of all confrontations. And as such we need more than rules and traditions: We need the Mind of Christ and the Spirit of Christ.

                “I urge you therefore brethren by the mercies of God to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12: 1, 2

                “Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God that we might know the things freely given to us by God, which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in in those taught by the Spirit combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words.  But the natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him and he cannot understand them because they are spiritually appraised. But he who is spiritual appraises all things yet he himself is appraised by no man. For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct Him? BUT WE HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST.” 1 Cor. 2:12-16.

                “…lay aside the old self which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit and be renewed in the spirit of your mind and put on the new self which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth… And do not grieve the Holy Spirit by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.” Ephesians 4:22b-24, 30.

                We have something that the world cannot comprehend. They look at churches and they see Christians as being mere members of the church. They think we follow traditions and bylaws much as a Rotary Club member would follow the bylaws of the Rotary. They cannot comprehend that we have literally become temples of the Holy Spirit… that we have the very Spirit of Christ and the very mind of Christ… that we have died to Satan’s kingdom and we have been born again into the kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The fruit of His Spirit is being produced in us and through us, not as a law to be kept but as an expression of our new nature in Christ.

                Satan knows full well what we are. We are lights in a very dark world and even though the world is blind to our true nature, the demons see us and shriek with fear and loathing. Satan has now been cast out of heaven for the last time and he knows that his time is short and so he is desperate to snuff us out so that He can carry on his global agenda without interference.

                Unfortunately much of the church has lost that Pentecostal power that burned in the hearts of the great evangelists of the past.  Much of the church has lost its moral and spiritual compass and they are beginning to agree with Satan’s agenda. There is a falling away taking place in our day that will allow for the rise of the antichrist and many will join forces with Satan to snuff out this Remnant. But we will overcome him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of our testimony and we will not love our own lives even to death. Rev 12:11.

                There will come a time when it looks as if Satan has won. Rev. 13:7, 8 looks pretty dismal when it says: “And it was given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them; and authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation was given to him. And all who dwell on the earth will worship him, every one whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slain.”

                We need to make sure that our names are written in the Lamb’s book of life, and that we are sealed by the Holy Spirit and that we have the mind of Christ. Just when the rapture will occur I do not know, but people whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life sound like Christians to me. Just like millions of Christians before us, we must be willing and ready to give our lives if need be.

                The good news is that whether we live or die… we win!  When Jesus Christ comes in His glorious kingdom, Satan will melt into nothingness and his armies with him and Jesus Christ and His saints will rule and reign for eternity. Strangely enough, it will be during our worst times of adversity that many, perhaps millions will come to the Lord and be saved by our testimony.

                Satan’s hand will be revealed… the issues will be made clear and even as it was during Christian persecution in history, millions came to the Lord even as Christians were being burned at the stake. It doesn’t seem to make sense somehow, but in truth, when Satan true hand is revealed many turn to the Lord even at the expense of their lives. It is worth it friends. Give Him your all today and He will give you His Spirit and His mind. Selah.
