JOURNAL 2: OCTOBER 1 VISION OF THE OLIVE TREE

RICK Lord Jesus, concerning my feeling of weakness when I pray, I know this is good in terms of our weakness vs. Your strength. But my question is what will it take in my life to operate in the power of your Spirit? How do I pray prayers that changes lives, heal the sick, prophesy over people, impart gifts of the Spirit and lead people to You?

JESUS    Rick, do you remember a vision you had over a year ago where my disciples and I were guarding a huge olive tree?

RICK       Yes Lord, but how does this vision relate to my question. How does it provide an answer?

JESUS    The olive tree is the source of the holy oil. If you remember, there were bands of malevolent soldiers coming from every access road to converge upon that tree. My disciples and I stood guard over the anointing that comes with the oil of the Holy Spirit which that olive tree represents.

RICK       Yes Lord, there were 3 access roads all leading to the town center where the olive tree stood. One came down from the hills, while the other two came up from the valley.

JESUS    The world, the flesh and the devil are seeking to destroy the anointing and unfortunately these three entities have been very much alive in the church as well as in the world. The olive tree has suffered damage at the hands of both men and religion. Religion is much to blame.

RICK       I know this has been true throughout church history Lord. I remember in my vision an ox cart being led by 2 women. One was very old and the other was young and beautiful.  Just as they entered the town square, they saw the soldiers converging on them and they turned and ran back down the road the way they had come. But the soldiers coming up the hill chased them down a side alley. I feared for their lives. What did this vision mean Lord? I have never understood it.

JESUS    The old woman represents traditional religion that is old and about to die. In fact if you will remember, you ran down to check on the women after the battle and the old woman had been killed and the young woman had been raped and badly injured.

RICK       That’s right Lord I remember…but what did it all mean?

JESUS    IN the final time of tribulation that is coming, the old traditional church will have died, but the young woman (who represents the charismatic movement) has suffered greatly, having been raped and abused and injured by false shepherds and false prophets. But she will not die and she will be revived and restored and she will be purified and she will carry the weight of my glory into the harvest. It will be a time of great darkness, but My glory will rise upon them and they will do great exploits. The works I have done and even greater works will they do and the harvest will come in.

RICK       Lord, first of all I am amazed that you remembered that vision since it was sort of like a daydream I had while riding my exercise bike. I had forgotten all about it and yet you brought it to my memory and then interpreted it for me. I want to be a part of the Bride Lord that will bring in the harvest. What should I do? I had distanced myself from the Charismatic movement because of abuses I saw in it. They seemed to have very little discernment as to which spirit was operating in their midst. I left the Charismatic movement to study Your feast days in the Messianic movement. Was I wrong? What will become of the Messianic movement and what is its purpose I the world?

JESUS    The Charismatic movement will yet undergo a great purging shaking and falling away, but the church that remains will be a glorious one. And as for the Messianic movement, you went where I led you and you have been faithful to all that I called you and Bonnie to do there. A great harvest will come into the Messianic movement as well in these last days.

                I have assigned the Messianic movement with a twofold purpose. One is to restore the Body of Christ to its Jewish roots and foundations, to refute replacement theology and to make the church aware of their pagan practices and to call their attention to My appointed times. Their 2^nd appointment is to present a Jewish Messiah to the unbelieving Jews instead of the pagan Jesus that the church has created. Yeshua has become a stranger to them and they cannot recognize Him, even as Joseph’s brothers could not recognize him. He had become an Egyptian in appearance.

RICK       With all that you have said here Lord, are you telling me that there is an appointed time when You will pour out Your Spirit ( the oil of the olive tree) upon all flesh? Is that when we will experience more power in our prayers?

JESUS    Yes, and the time is very soon, in fact it is now breaking out in third world countries where they are not so hampered with mammon, lukewarmness and powerless doctrines. Prepare your heart for the time is nigh at hand.
