UNDERSTANDING THE PROPHETIC VOICE

                In Elijah we see a prophet who was uncompromising in his ways. Israel had lost its way and had turned to idolatry.  Ahab was weak and his wife Jezebel had brought in all of gods of her father. Elijah, at God’s word brought the nation of Israel to throw down the gauntlet. IF Baal be God then let Him answer with fire, but if the God of Abraham be God then let Him answer with fire.

                The priests of Baal went through their many gyrations for most of the day, but nothing happened. And then at about the time of the evening sacrifice Elijah the prophet drew near and said, “ Oh Lord, God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, today let it be known that Thou art the God of Israel and that I am Thy servant and that I have done all these things at Thy word.”

                It was a simple and quiet prayer. It brought the fire because Elijah was a prophet who stood before God. He needed no gyrations, no self-mutilation, no shouting and pleading. The fire came because Elijah was a true prophet.

                Balaam, on the other hand, was a prophet of God in the beginning until he began to make merchandise of          the anointing. He sold out to the highest bidder. He said what the money people wanted him to say, even if it meant cursing God’s people. God prophesied to Balaam from the mouth of an ass because that is what Balaam had become. God will get His truth out one way or another.

                There were a host of prophetic ministries back in the 70s and 80s that were powerful and vibrant. I used to follow Kenneth Copeland in those days because he brought life to the Word of God such as I had not experienced it before. Suddenly the word of God became relevant and interactive. He was teaching us how to walk in the Word and in the Spirit.

                But then his message and the messages of other surrounding teachers and prophets began to turn. They began to teach that you can have what you want because you are king’s kids. If you want that Cadillac, you can believe God for it. Alarm bells went off in my head. It was the beginning of the prosperity teaching and now they were beginning to use the Word to tell God what to do. They were moving from Elijah to Balaam.

                And when they began to realize that the prosperity message drew the big crowds and the big money, preacher after preacher traded in the pure Word of God for the lies that would build their religious kingdoms. Prophets of God began flying in jets and riding in limousines living in outrageously opulent mansions. They took over most of Christian TV and with this compromised message the power of the Charismatic movement moved from Holy Spirit power to money power.

                Now they have to go through gyrations, and preach louder and bring in louder bands and lights and fog machines and what have you to try to simulate that which was once real. But more than losing the real power of the Holy Spirit, they lost the Holy Spirit and another spirit came in and began to masquerade as Christ.

                We keep waiting for some future time when Satan will appear as an angel of light, but it is happening right now as people everywhere move from the true Holy Spirit to a spirit manufactured by their emotions and gyrations, their shouting and singing and loud music. When the true spirit is supplanted by a false spirit, the same miracles continue; the same tongues and the same excitement… but now it comes from a different source.

                Is it not amazing that Kenneth Copeland, a onetime prophet of God is now one of the key ring leaders in bringing the Evangelical movement to Rome to seek unity with the Vatican? And is it not amazing that the Vatican has now become fully Luciferian in its worship and yet the body of Christ in large numbers is turning to the “Unity of peace and security” from this rising global movement?

                I never thought I would see the day when the Protestant churches of our nation would give up on their protest and rejoin the Papacy. But it was prophesied in the Bible where it is identified in 2 Thess. 2:4 as the great apostasy or falling away… and it is by this apostasy, according to Paul that the man of lawlessness will be revealed. He will take his seat in the temple of God displaying himself as being God. Even Ellen White, in her book “The Great Controversy” published in the early 1900s said that apostate Protestants would be foremost in stretching their hand back across the gulf to embrace Catholicism once again. Who could believe such a thing? And yet it is happening right before our eyes. The reformers knew and understood these thing way back during the reformation when they separated from the Papacy to begin with.

                And while I believe there will be a physical manifestation of this in Jerusalem when the 3^rd temple is built and the antichrist commits the abomination of desolation in the temple by claiming to be God, we need to be aware that this very thing is taking place spiritually in the church today and millions are falling for it. That which is manifested spiritually in the church, is always manifested literally and physically in Israel, because Israel is God’s template. If we miss the message because we have become weak spiritually, then God will draw it in pictures for us through Israel.

                But this great falling away is indeed happening in America… a nation once led by God is now trading the Holy Spirit in for the spirit of antichrist and God has just sent us a warning. He has blazed a path of darkness across America as an omen, a warning that America is now under judgment. We have been given 40 days to repent.

                But America is not repenting and so we can expect to see ever increasing judgments like birth pangs that increase in frequency and severity until America is brought to its knees. America is heading for Captivity and people think it will never happen because we are God’s great nation. We sit as a Queen and have need of nothing.

                Woe to us for we have been weighed in the balances and found wanting. Woe unto us for we have not repented of our national sins, our murderous laws of abortion and our laws in defiance against God in homosexual marriage. Way back in the 70s a prophet of God prophesied saying that when homosexuality came out of the closet and was supported by the laws of the land, then judgment would come to America. Well, that time has come and along with it we have supported the murder of 60 million babies. America has become a habitation of demons. The tide has turned and soon we will see open persecution of true Christians and the murder of God’s true prophets.

                Apostate Protestantism will be foremost not only in rejoining the Papacy, but they will become foremost in persecuting those who remain true to God. Even now we see mainstream Christianity distancing itself from fundamental, Bible believing, born again Christians. Those who keep the commandments of God and who bear the testimony of Jesus will be chased by the dragon just as it says in Revelation 12. And whether that Remnant spoken of there in Revelation 12 is Jews or true Christians matters not for Satan will seek to devour all of God’s true believers.

                There are many different views and interpretations of Revelation 12 as it will appear in our night sky on September 22/23. Some say that the man child, the church will be caught up to heaven on or near that time. Some believe that if there is a catching up it will only be of the wise virgins… the Bride that has made herself ready, not everyone that claims to be a Christian.

                Sadhu Selvarage, a man who walks and talks with God on a regular basis, teaches that there will not be a pre-tribulation rapture. The Lord told him that it would not be as many are teaching. He explained that right now the church is a mixture of wise and foolish virgins, of wheat and tares, of sheep and goats and of true and false believers and teachers. He explains that the tribulation is now upon us. It is a time when all of these groups will be separated and the church will be refined and purified. (As spoken of in Daniel 12.)

                Today’s grace teachers will tell you that the church doesn’t need refining. Jesus did it all for us so that we don’t need to and we will be changed and purified at the rapture. But this is not the picture painted for is throughout scripture. We are to come out of Babylon, wash our robes and make them white in the blood of the Lamb, to deny self and take up our cross and follow after Jesus. We are to overcome as He overcame and we are to be conformed to the image of Christ. We must be filled with the Holy Spirit and we must be living by that Spirit and not by our flesh. Jesus made promises to every one of the seven churches, but He made those promises to those who overcome.

                The message of false grace has truncated the message of the Gospel. When they say that God is good, they are saying that God will not judge. When they speak of grace, they mean license to sin, rather than power to overcome. And if we think that this is not true, then look at where the apostate church is headed. They are headed directly into the global religion of the Beast. Had they been studying Bible prophecy, they would not have gone there.

                We need to understand that God’s judgments are meant to call His people back. The same glory that blesses the righteous will be to the wicked a destroying flame. There must be a separation between what is true and what is false. Far too many prophets have turned to follow Balaam today. You can hear it in their money centered messages. You can see it in their flash and opulent lifestyles.

                God is going to pass them by and take His message to the world through the nobodies, the humble, the children and the handmaidens. There will be no super stars in the final harvest. It will be brought in by the despised and forsaken, the hunted and the persecuted. But the blood of the saints will bring in a harvest such as the world has never seen… and it will be done against a background of blood and fire and columns of smoke.

                God’s judgments are designed to separate God’s people from the world and to bring them home. He is not willing that any should perish. He will save every last person that calls upon His name.

                If there is to be an early rapture, it will be the rapture of a Bride that has made herself ready. She will be a wise virgin whose lamp is filled with oil. She will be of Philadelphia and not of Laodicea. She will be one that has been refined and purified by the word and by the Spirit of God and made white in the blood of the Lamb.

                She is described in Revelation 19 where it says:  “Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready. And it was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.”

                And they will have gone to heaven before the second coming of Christ at some point because from verse 11 on, Jesus is described as coming in the clouds riding on a white horse and “the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean were following Him on white horses.”

                These are not angels, but the saints described in verse 8. They are the great multitude described in Rev. 19:1-8.

                We are nearing the end of time and we are soon to see and experience these things. There is no more time to play church. Neither can we force the bible to conform to our doctrines. We must now submit to God’s Word in its fullness. Much doctrine has been made by developing the doctrine first and then finding Bible texts to support it. Then we ignore all the texts that don’t support it and we become blind to everything that doesn’t fit our beliefs.  This is why there are so many denominations. But this kind of prostituting of scripture must now come to an end and we must pray for the Holy Spirit to teach us and to make our hearts ready for our Lord’s return.

                The wise virgins were not described as a group that had the right doctrine, but a group that had the oil of the Holy Spirit and the lamp of the Word and they were virgins, untouched by the world and its ways. They were betrothed to the Lord and they had eyes only for Him. And unlike the foolish virgins, when the time for the wedding came, the Bridegroom knew them for they had spent much time together in the secret place of the Most High.

                While sound doctrine is highly important in terms of rightly dividing the Word of truth, it is in our relationship with Jesus through His Word and through His Holy Spirit… it is through eating His flesh and drinking His blood and through our prayers as they go up mixed with the incense of the Holy Spirit (as we see in the Holy Place of the Tabernacle) that makes us ready to meet Him.

                “For both He who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all from one Father, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren…” Hebrews 2:11

                “This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil where Jesus HAS entered as a forerunner for us, having become a high priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.” Hebrews 6:19, 20.

                This is the secret place of the Most High. It is a place of intimacy which we can enter by faith through the blood of the Lamb. It is there that He will purge us and judge us and purify us in relationship with Him so that we need not come into the judgment of the world. We will not come into judgment, but will pass from death into life. Is there anything in this life more valuable than eternity with our Lord? Is there anything that you would trade for eternity? Are there any riches available to us that would make it worth our while to follow a Balaam rather than an Elijah?

                Let me point out there are many of God’s true saints in the Charismatic movement and in the Evangelical movements.      In fact God’s Remnant is spread throughout all of the denominations and even the Catholic Church. It is like the Bible says,:Two people can be sitting or working side by side and one will be taken and the other left. Only God knows the hearts of His people. His sheep know His voice and they will come to Him when He calls them out of the corrupt systems of the world.

                It is time to put our houses in order and to cry out for the fire of heaven to purify our lives and to make us ready as a bride adorned for her Husband. What, if anything, will happen on the 23^rd of September we cannot know, but this we do know: This period of time from Elul one, (the eclipse) until Yom Kippur is a specific time of repentance. God has given America its final warning.

                He gave us president Trump to provide for us one last period of grace. He gave us a very imperfect man, because in reality, He didn’t want us to look to a man for our solution. He wanted us to look to Him. It has never been God’s intention for us to put our faith in politics. We need to place our faith in the God who gives us the presidents we need or the ones we deserve and by grace He gave us 4 years to repent. If Trump cannot hang on to his office for any reason, until the four years are up, then our period of grace will be cut short as well and it will be because the church did not repent.

                Those were the words of the prophet Sadhu, not mine. Friends, our 40 days of repentance will be up on the 23^rd of this month. Please take it seriously. We are now passing into a time of division and judgment and persecution of the righteous. It is time to put our houses in order and to make ourselves ready as a Bride adorned for her husband.
