REALITY CHECK… WILL ALL OF THIS JUST BLOW OVER AS LIFE RETURNS TO NORMAL?

                “Behold, I am coming quickly and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. Blessed are those who wash their robes that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter by the gates into the city.” Rev. 22:12-14

                I know that many people who hear the prophets and the watchmen these days are thinking that maybe the events that are happening right now are being hyped up. After all, we can look back on a long list of big disappointments, where people sold the farm and then Jesus didn’t come back after all. So maybe this is just another one of those unusual seasons that will just blow over in time and everything will go back to normal.

                So when we talk about blood moon tetrads and solar eclipses and Revelation 12 signs some Christians actually accuse us of dabbling in astrology. It is as though it has never sunk in that Joel said there would be signs in the sun, moon and stars before the Great and awesome Day of the Lord, and Jesus told us that there would be signs in the sun, moon and stars both during and after the great tribulation of those days. This is not astrology. These are signs that God placed in the heavens so that when they correspond with His Moedim (appointed times) they tell us something important

                If we are where I think we are in time, then life is not going to go back to normal. In fact we have entered into a very specific time called “the time of the end.” It has been talked about throughout the entire Bible. Whenever it talks about the latter days, or latter times, or the Day of the Lord, or the great and awesome Day of the Lord, or the time of the end, we discover something. EVERY TIME OF CALAMITY OR JUDGMENT IN DAYS PAST HAS SERVED AS A FORETASTE OF THE FINAL DAY OF THE LORD AND EVERY PROPHECY CONCERNING ISRAEL ALSO POINTED FORWARD TO A FINAL DAY OF RECKONING IN OUR TIME.

                Paul said it in 1 Cor. 10:11: “Now these things happened to them (Israel) as an example and they were written for our instruction upon whom the ends of the ages have come.”

                Friends, I believe that the signs in the sun, moon and stars that have been happening over the past three years are the very signs that Joel and Jesus talked about. In fact today, September 23, 2017 is the exact day that we have been talking about for several months now. It is the very day of the Revelation 12 sign that John told us would be seen in the heavens. The virgin is about to give birth to a man child and the dragon is about to try to consume the man child that will be caught up to heaven, and so the dragon will turn in hot pursuit of the woman and the remnant of her seed that keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus. These stars are giving us a very important message. End time biblical events are about to happen on the earth and God has warned us that the time has come. Actually they are happening right now so thick and fast that we can’t even keep up with them.

                (I am interrupting my writing to say that just as I am writing this, Bonnie’s earthquake alarm went off on her phone telling us that a 6.2 just happened in Matias Romero Mexico. It was a very shallow quake of only 12 miles deep. And we have been getting these alarms of major quakes every day and sometimes twice a day since the total eclipse of the sun.) Now back to our article.

                Traditionally we have not related this to the stars at all. We always skipped the fact that the Bible said that these things would appear in the heavens and for good reason. Until recently, without our current technology we would have had no way of even seeing such an event happen. So doesn’t it give you chilly bumps to think that John saw this great sign in the heavens, a sign that would not be seen for 2000 years until the very time when it would have meaning? We are the generation that was meant to see the Revelation 12 sign for what it really is.

                But we haven’t seen the end of it yet, for Luke 21:24b-27 says “…and Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. And there will be signs in the sun and moon and stars and upon the earth dismay among nations in perplexity at the roaring of eh sea and the waves, men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. THEN will they see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

                Do you get the flow here?  Israel was trodden underfoot by the Gentiles from AD 70 until 1948, when Israel came back into its own land and even more specifically, Jerusalem came back into Israeli hands in 1867 at the time of the 6 day war. And the generation that saw that event happen is now seeing signs in the sun, moon and stars, there is great perplexity among the nations right now and seas are roaring, coasts around the world are being inundated with floods and violent weather, record breaking earthquakes, record breaking heat waves, and tsunamis, and sink holes, and mass animal deaths and imminent threats of war and talk of nuclear exchanges… not to mention the building up of the final global kingdom and the revealing of the False Prophet as the great falling away gets underway that will lead to the rise of the antichrist. (And if the pope turns out to be the antichrist, then we have seen him in Pope Francis the final pope, and time is even shorter than we thought. Indeed he is gathering all of the religions of the world into one final global religion that will institute the Mark of the Beast.)

                Friends, this time it is not going to go back to normal. In fact, I believe that we have just begun to see the series of events that will continue to escalate until the coming of the Lord in power and great glory. Today we have no idea how extensively the messages of the mystery religions and secret societies and New Age gurus have affected the church and watered down the Gospel.

                Dr. Lake said, “The influence of the Mystery Religions in the Millennial generation is staggering. The younger generation is actively redefining everything within the Word of God to suit their carnal desires.”  

                The truth and power of the Gospel in the blood and cross of Jesus is being traded in for occult powers and Hindu philosophies and a false Holy Spirit. The Kundalini spirit is masquerading as the Holy Spirit as Satan seeks to replace Christ in the hearts of men.

                Some mistakenly say that the gift of unknown tongues is of the devil. No, it is clearly defined in scripture as an unknown tongue and Paul spoke in tongues more than any of them, but he also spoke in a known language when he addressed the people otherwise no one would have understood him.

                So speaking in an unknown tongue is not of the devil, if you belong to Christ and you are serving Jesus Christ as His disciple, and you are walking in obedience to His Word and living by His Spirit. But if you stray from the Word, and you abandon the true Gospel of Jesus Christ, His blood and His cross and you begin to “redefine everything within the Word of God to suit your own carnal desires” then Satan will sneak into your heart and life and the Spirit of Christ in you will be replaced by a Kundalini spirit and as such Satan will be masquerading as Christ in your life.

                This, my friends is the great falling away. This falling away is what makes way for the antichrist to come. He needs the spirit of antichrist to rise before he can arise and take control of the world. And of course, just like Revelation 12 says, He will go after the woman who gave birth to the man child and he will seek to devour everyone that keeps the commandments of God and holds to the testimony of Jesus.

                I rather imagine that this issue with Kim Jung Un is going to escalate into a war and perhaps one in which there is a nuclear exchange. I also don’t believe that we have seen the end of natural disasters in the United States and around the world… in fact I sort of suspect an earthquake to come next, even before we have finished cleaning up from Harvey and Irma and Maria. America will be brought to its knees when more calamities happen than the government can help with. Our finances will collapse and we may be invaded while in this weakened state.

                And while we are down, the Magog war may well occur in Israel and as per Ezekiel 38:8,   in speaking about God’s miraculous delivery of Israel in the Magog war Ezekiel says, “Behold, it is coming and it shall be done, declares the Lord God. That is the day of which I have spoken.”  “And I shall set My glory among the nations; and all the nations will see My judgment which I have executed and my hand which I have laid on them. And the house of Israel will know that I am the Lord their God from that day onward.”

                How will the nations of the world see and know these things unless we had our current global communications? And doesn’t this event also refer to Zech. 12 where it says that Jerusalem will become a cup of reeling to all peoples around when the siege is against Jerusalem…and when God delivers them then Zech. 12:10 says… “And they will look upon Me whom they have pierced.” Is this not the time spoken of also in Revelation 1:7 where it says: “Behold, He is coming with the clouds and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. Even so Amen?”

                So when Jesus, through John the Revelator said “Behold I come quickly…” He was not speaking to His first century generation, He was speaking to us. And when He said that the generation that saw the fig tree blossom would also see His coming, He was not talking to first century people but to us.

                Bible prophecy has meaning in every age, but it has particular meaning to us upon whom the ends of the age have come and so we can now see, that all prophecy has pointed to this final generation. Even in Psalms 102:18-22 it says:

                This will be written for THE GENERATION TO COME; that a people YET TO BE CREATED may praise the Lord. From heaven the Lord gazed upon the earth to hear the groaning of the prisoner; to set free those who were doomed to death; that man may tell of the name of the Lord in Zion and His praise in Jerusalem; WHEN THE PEOPLES ARE GATHERED TOGETHER AND THE KINGDOMS TO SERVE THE Lord.”

                Here it speaks not of any old generation but THE generation that will see that the appointed time has come. And then Joel further marks this time saying: “I will pour out My Spirit in those days. And I will display wonders in the sky and on the earth, blood, fire and columns of smoke. The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, BEFORE the great and awesome day of the Lord comes.”  

                So here we are, not setting dates, rather we are pointing to the season of the end times that will be marked by signs in the sun, moon and stars and distress among nations and the seas roaring, men’s hearts failing them for fear at those things that are coming upon the earth.

                The book of Hebrews confirms all of this by saying: “See to it that you do not refuse Him who is speaking, for if those did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less shall we escape who turn away from Him who WARNS FROM HEAVEN.  And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying,’ Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heaven.”  Heb. 12:25, 26.

                And then he finishes chapter 12 by giving the reasons for this shaking saying: “And this expression, “Yet once more,” denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken as of created things, in order that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe; for our God is a consuming fire.” Heb. 12:27-29.

                So what we see here is a great shaking of the heavens and the earth, a great shaking of the nations and then on a more personal note, a great shaking of the individual so that everything that is not of His kingdom may be shaken out of us, so that what remains is eternal.

                This tells us that our preparation for these times; that have now come upon us, entails our getting rid of everything in our lives that is not eternal in scope. We have this treasure in earthen vessels so that the power may be of God and not of ourselves. We are living by the Spirit and not by the flesh. We have set our minds and our hearts on eternal thing and we are allowing God’s refining process to burn out everything in our lives that is not of gold, silver and precious stones. We don’t want wood, hay and stubble in our lives, so we cry out to the great Refiner to cleanse our temples and to turn us into houses of prayer. We want our temples to be a place where the Holy Spirit of Christ can find a home.

                Our walk with God can no longer be a part time job. (As if it ever could) Being crucified with Christ means absolute death and being born again by the power of His resurrection places us in a different kingdom. We are no longer of this world. And when the kingdoms of this world are tottering and falling, we belong to a different kingdom that is unmovable, unshakeable and eternal. It’s time to get into it with both feet and our whole heart.

                Noah sent out birds, but they kept returning because they could not find a place to rest. But the third dove did not return because it had finally found a place to call home. For 2000 years Yeshua has been sending out His Spirit and now we are entering the third millennium. Will the Dove finally find a home in our generation? I pray that He will, because this ark has gone about as far as it can go. It is about to strike rugged mountains and God is looking for a people who will come out and offer up praises and true worship to Him… not just in words, but in total commitment of body, soul and spirit.
