 A SIGN IN THE HEAVENS

                As many of us know, we are only about 10 days away from this Revelation 12 event taking place in the heavens. On that day the stars will be aligned just as described in Revelation 12. Virgo will be clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of 12 stars on her head as three planets Mercury, Mars and Venus are added to the 9 stars of Leo. Then after 9 months in retrograde, Jupiter will pass out of Virgo as representing the birth of the man child. Meanwhile the dragon (Satan) will seek to devour the child as soon as he is born, but as it says, the man child will be caught up to heaven and then the woman that gave birth to the child will flee as the dragon pursues her.

                There is no small number of Christians that believe that the rapture will occur on the 23^rd. Personally, I believe that they are in for a big disappointment and when it doesn’t happen many will fall away losing whatever faith they did have in bible prophecy.

                I, along with everyone else, wish that the rapture would happen. Don’t we all want to go home about now? But the truth is, the church isn’t ready and if the rapture occurred right now,  millions of Christians would be left behind. There is nothing in scripture that says Jesus will come for a half committed Bride, or a Bride that is still dating other gods.

                That being said, I believe that there is great significance to this sign just as there was with the blood moons and just as there was with the recent solar eclipse over America. God is sending warnings in the sun, moon and stars just before earth’s final events occur, and He is telling us of what is coming and the nature of what these events mean.

                I often hear Christians say that the blood moons were a bust and that nothing happened, but that is only because they don’t understand Bible prophecy.

                During the blood moons in 2015 for instance, Russia came to Syria with a vow to never leave and thus they made up the full complement of the nations that will be there for the Magog War. Israel is now surrounded with the very enemies Ezekiel told us would be there to drive Israel into the sea. The blood moons were therefore a warning to Israel that these things are soon to take place.

                Likewise, as I have mentioned before, Pope Francis came to America and announced his leadership of the global religion of the antichrist. This occurred on eth last blood moon and serves as a warning both to Israel because he will make way for the temple to be built) and a warning to the nations that the global government of the antichrist is about to come into being. So on the very day of the last super blood moon, Pope Francis stood before congress and He stood before the United Nations and made these declarations to the entire world, then he stood at the foot of the Freedom Tower at ground zero with 12 representatives of the world’s major religions. There they declared their solidarity with the pope for a united one world religion.

                In addition to that, a huge swath of the evangelical as well as mainline churches have also sworn solidarity with the Pope as they abandon their Protestant protest and come back to the mother church. These events are huge folks. They are huge, huge, HUGE!

                So I ask you, was that a big deal or not? Was not Pope Francis announcing that he is a member of a satanic trinity known as the Beast, the Dragon and the False Prophet? And if he is forming the global religion of the Beast does that not make him the False Prophet? If this is true, and I believe it is, then this is world changing. It means that the False Prophet has taken his place on the world scene, the dragon is about to be cast down to the earth and that means the antichrist is also here and about to take his place on the world stage.

                As it happens, Jared Kirschner is now making a covenant with the many ( a consortium of  Muslim nations) for a peace deal with Israel and the antichrist will only have to confirm this covenant in order to take his place in the end time events.

                Here’s what I believe God was telling us with the blood moons:

1.       We have entered the final sequence of events that will carry us to the second coming of Christ.

2.       The church needs to wake up and start studying Bible prophecy

3.       The church needs to separate from the pagan/ Christian systems that will join with the beast.

4.       The church needs to drop its pagan borne doctrine of replacement theology and to begin to study the Feasts of Israel, especially those of the Fall Feasts that form God’s agenda for the second coming.

5.       It is time for the church to come out of Babylon, both in terms of worldliness and in terms of pagan/Christianity and to come back to the Bible and the fundamentals of the Gospel.

                This is the message of the blood moons. How many Christians got it?

                Now, on the 21^st of August we had a total eclipse of the sun that blazed a trail of darkness across America. What can this mean?

1.       It is a warning of judgment upon America and upon the western nations.

2.       America was raised up by God to be a light to the nations and a protector of Israel.

3.       But America has kicked God out of our schools, our government institutions and our society. We have become one of the sin capitals of the world.

4.       We have been given 40 days to repent beginning on Elul one and ending at Yom Kippur.

5.       And just in case we thought that judgment is not coming, we have been inundated with hurricanes, floods, threats of war, solar flares, and fires in the west and a barrage of animal and human deaths. Yet our violence and rebellion persists.

                So, we are now facing this Revelation 12 sign. Some say it means nothing. Some say that it is contrived. Still others believe that September 23 will be the rapture of the church. In truth, this interpretation may be a smoke screen for more important things.

                Is it possible that the Revelation 12 sign represents, not the whole church being caught up, but only the sons of God? And who are the sons of God? IF we study it out, they represent those who have overcome. They have been conformed to the image of Christ. They have become like Him. They don’t have one foot in the church and one foot in the world. They are caught up as first fruits unto God. And if we understand the Jewish festival of first fruits, we come to understand that once the first fruits were pronounced holy, then the rest of the crop was holy. In other words, it was because of those who overcame even as Yeshua overcame that the rest of the crop could be reckoned as holy as well.

                But in this Revelation scenario, the woman that gave birth to the man child was not Israel as many have believed. And how do I know that? It is because they have the testimony of Jesus. They keep the commandments and they have the testimony of Jesus. So if we look at the Jews today, it can’t be said that they have the testimony of Jesus… not yet. There will come a time when they will look upon Him whom they have pierced and accept Him as their Messiah, but not yet.

                So here is where we have to understand the three harvests in Israel. They were:

The Barley, Wheat and Grape harvests

                The Barley harvest was a harvest of first fruits and could in this instance; represent the catching away of the sons of God. (Including daughters) Barley is easily removed from the husk by winnowing. It only takes a breeze to blow the chaff away. This would correspond to those overcomers that are easily separated from their flesh by the gentle breeze of the Holy Spirit. They have died to self and they live by the Spirit of Christ.

                The wheat harvest came later. Wheat is separated from its chaff by means of violent threshing or beating. It doesn’t want to let go of the chaff (flesh) so it must go through persecution in order to be conformed to the image of Christ.

                The grape harvest comes at the end of the harvest season in the fall. Grapes must be literally crushed and stomped under foot to bring forth the wine and I don’t know if that means what Paul said when he surrendered that man’s flesh to the devil to be destroyed so that his spirit might be saved, or if they are completely lost. (See 1 Cor. 4:5.)At any rate, they are cast into the winepress of God’s wrath.

                Through a false teaching of grace, the church has become careless and disobedient thinking that grace gives them license to do their own thing and that God will understand and forgive. This however is not the message of the Bible for we are called to become disciples, dying to self and being born again by the power of His resurrection to live by the Spirit and not by the flesh. We are to be conformed to the image of Christ and to overcome as He overcame. That; is a message that is rarely being preached these days.

                So, if nothing else, God is writing warnings to us across the sky just as Joel predicted. He said in Joel 2:28 that there would be signs in the sun, moon and stars before the great day of the Lord comes. We have now seen signs in the sun, moon and stars and there will not be any more of these signs naturally occurring any time in the near future.

                We must take these signs seriously and we must take action accordingly. Now is the time for repentance. In fact, the total eclipse of the sun that took place on August 21 began 40 days of repentance leading up to Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement.

                Way back in 1894 a Jewish Rabbi, named Moshe ben Yisrael Benyamin said that when a total eclipse occurs on the first day of Elul it is very bad. It will be followed by storms and many animals will die. We are now in the middle of that 40 day time of fasting and repentance and America has undergone two major unprecedented hurricanes, 6 X- class solar flares, raging fires in the west and threats of war from North Korea. And now a third hurricane has done a loop in the Atlantic and is heading back for America. We can only hope that it gets lost in the Atlantic.  Hurricane Irma is making a U-turn and heading back towards the gulf. And again we hope that these hurricanes will fizzle and run out of steam.

                What is going on? BPEarthwatch says that in all of his years, he has never seen a hurricane turn around and go west. Is God trying to tell us that these are His judgments and not mere coincidences?  Perhaps.

                So much can be said about what is going on in the world right now and so much can be said about how most of the church is ignoring God’s signs and His prophecies and His Feast Days that outline all of these things for us.

                We are on a fast track to the tribulation (See Mt. 24:21 for Jesus’ use of the word “Tribulation” in connection with the Time of Jacob’s Trouble) I respect those who believe in a pre-tribulation rapture and I can see it in types and shadows, but I tend to think that the harvest may come in waves depending upon the readiness of the people. Those who have put the world and the flesh behind them and lived by the Spirit will be ready even as the wise virgins were ready. But those who have let their lamps run out of oil, may have to go out into the tribulation and to buy oil through persecution, or even paying for it with their own lives, since they never made full use of Christ’s death for them and His subsequent resurrection power for a new  life.

                Any way you slice it, we must now come to Yeshua with our whole hearts. We must come out of Babylon and learn to live by the Spirit. As it says in Romans 8:14

                “For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.”
