THE COMING HEPTAD

                In Messianic circles, we know a heptad as a Shemitah… a set of sevens or a seven year period known in the bible as a Shemitah cycle.

                God had commanded Israel to observe a year of rest of the land on every seventh year and when Israel failed to obey God after many years, He sent Israel into captivity for 70 years to give the land of Israel the 70 missing years of rest that had accrued.

                But then God used Daniel to announce an extended period of 70 heptads, or Shemitah cycles in which to accomplish certain things. During those 490 years made up of seventy sevens, they would have to do the following… found in Daniel 9:27.

1.       Finish the transgression

2.       Make an end of sin

3.       Make atonement for iniquity

4.       Bring in everlasting righteousness

5.       Seal up vision and prophecy

6.       Anoint the Most Holy Place

                Now these 6 mandates were given to Daniel and his people and the 70 sevens started with the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem and would last until Messiah the prince. So this 490 period of time began as Israel left Babylon and returned to Jerusalem as prophesied and ended with the coming of Yeshua. And depending on how you figure it, the prophesied time ended either at Yeshua’s baptism or at His triumphal entry just before His crucifixion.

                Strangely enough, if you add up the 70 sevens, they end at the 69^th seven and no further mention is made of the 70^th seven. And even though we can see the fulfillment or partial fulfillment in some of these mandates on the cross, we cannot say that sin or transgression has yet ended, nor can we rightly say that vision and prophecy has yet been completed or sealed up.

                This is why many of us believe that the 70^th week of years is reserved for the time of Jacob’s trouble at the end of the age when indeed all of these issues will be brought to their completion and the end will come.

                In connection with this I believe that the blood moons and eclipses and even the sign described in Revelation 12 coming upon us as they now are, is really God telling us and warning us that this final Heptad, or Shemitah Cycle is about to begin. It is described in the Bible as a time of trouble such as the world has never seen since there was a nation. It is also popularly called “The Tribulation.”  It will be marked by the global reign of the antichrist and horrible persecution and will include all of the events mentioned in Matthew 24. Mark 13 and Luke 21 outlined by Jesus Christ Himself.

                There is more said in the Bible concerning this final 7 year period of history than any other period of time in history.  And while many of the Old Testament prophets,  gave warnings directed at their own times, it can be seen that these prophecies often took on a scope much bigger than their local conditions and spoke of great global conflagrations and the Day of the Lord.

                Pastor Mark Biltz explains that while we, in our Greek mind set think of prophecy as a series of events to be checked off of a list, the Hebrew mindset says, “This has happened before, it is bound to happen again.” So in other words, Bible prophecies happen in repeating cycles even as do God’s appointed times, or feasts. So if we want to understand the events of our day, we can look back throughout history to see what has happened on these feasts in years past.

                Therefore I find it highly interesting that the global system of the Beast now forming, has designated a set of 7 years beginning in 2018-2025 as the beginning of their global rule and a 1000 year reign.  They believe it will take 7 years to fully implement this system and this seven years includes the removal of all resisters  Christian or Jewish. The Bible calls this globalists system “Babylon” or “Mystery Babylon and it is described for us in Revelation 13 and the final fall of it is described in chapters 16 through 18.

                These globalists are well aware of Bible prophecy and they believe in it much more than much of the church does. Satan knows that he cannot do anything contrary to the outline of scripture, and so he seeks to pull off all of the conditions listed in the Bible, to bring the world into chaos and war and then to offer the world an substitute for Christ in the person of the antichrist and a global New World Order.

                Is it not interesting then that at the very time when the celestial sign of the woman of Revelation 12 giving birth to the man child and the dragon trying to destroy him when he is caught up into heaven and the woman who gave birth to the man child flees to the wilderness, that this sign in the heavens is appearing exactly at the end of 2017 and the beginning of a new Shemitah and a new Jubilee and the beginning of the designated year of the beast 2018? Can this by any stretch of the imagination be a coincidence?

                This particular sign in the heavens described in Revelation 12 has never happened before and will never happen again and it is preceded by a total eclipse of the sun across the whole of America at the same time as it gets dark in Israel… at the same exact moment actually. Two of God’s great covenant nations that have fallen away from God are filled with darkness as a sign of coming judgment and perhaps the time of Jacob’s trouble. After all, Israel and America have the two greatest populations of Jews as well as Israelites. We have had the greatest light and in many ways we are also the places of greatest darkness today. America is the world’s leader in sin of all kinds and the book of Revelation calls Jerusalem both Sodom and Egypt. God loves us and He loves Israel and I’m sure it breaks His heart to call His beloved city Jerusalem “Sodom”, but He has had enough and it is time to pull the plug on our sins. It is time for the remnant of Israel to complete the mandates of Daniel 9:24-27 that will end with the coming of the Lord. It will also end with Israel looking upon Him whom they have pierced and they will mourn for Him as their long lost Son. See Zech. 12:10.

                AS usual, God’s judgments are meant to bring righteousness and repentance to as many as will be saved and there will be a great harvest amidst blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The prophet Joel speaks of this time of a darkened sun and blood moons that happens immediately preceding the great and terrible day of the Lord and little did we know how quickly this would come to pass. But it is said of this time that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

                I am probably a fool to say so, but I can’t help but believe that we are looking at the beginning of these things taking place yet this fall. We may actually be entering the Tribulation in September.

                The prophet Joel said: “The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes.” Peter repeated this prophecy in connection with Pentecost in the book of Acts, and Jesus repeated Joel’s signs as being signs of His coming and the end of time.

                Even a few months ago many watchmen and prophets were talking about 20 or 30 years before it would all come down, but now many are beginning to wonder if we aren’t about to step into the Tribulation in a couple of months. Numerous prophets in our time have been told by God that events have begun that can no longer be stopped. Could it be?

                Remember if you will that God does not go by our calendar. He goes by His calendar which is the Jewish calendar and it is marked by Feast Days in the spring and in the fall and the Jewish New Year begins at Rosh Hashanah, which is our September 20^th… next month. It is amazing how prophetic events almost always fall upon the exact Feast Days that represent these events. Concerning the Spring Feasts, Jesus was the Passover Lamb on the day of Passover. He was the unleavened Bread as He lay sinless in the tomb on the east of unleavened bread. He was the first fruits waved before God at His resurrection even as the priest in the temple waved the first fruits of the harvest and exactly 50 days later, He sent His Holy Spirit on Pentecost. Do we think that the Fall Feasts will be any less accurate?

                Too late many Christians are going to find out just what it meant to the church when the Papacy thought to change times and laws. They were not only changing Sabbath days; they were changing the whole calendar and replacing God’s appointed times with pagan holidays so as to obscure the meaning of Gods signs in the sun, moon and stars.

                For 2000 years now, the church has been running deaf, dumb and blind concerning these appointed times and we must know and realize that God, in His grace, is now restoring this information to us with the rise of the Messianic movement. The true church must be restored to its proper foundations. It is the east days that tie the Old and New Covenants back together, restores the church to its foundations and gives God His voice back. ARE WE LISTENING?

                People of prophecy are beginning to wake up and to see just what Satan has stolen from us when we divorced the Jews and married the pagans and this is no obscure issue. The great beast of Revelation 13 is the same beast that stole God’s plans from us in the first place. The Papacy is now, at the very least, the false prophet who will cause all people great and small to wonder after the Beast and to worship his image.

                Unknown to many, the Papacy also owns most of the gold in the world today and they will most certainly be deeply involved in controlling the buying and selling of the world and bringing in the Mark of the Beast. The New World Order although secular in appearance is very much controlled by and connected with the Papacy. We can literally see the Beast rising right before our eyes and the woman that rides the Beast is the Vatican. So isn’t it a bit interesting that immediately after the sign of the woman and the man child in Revelation 12, we see in Revelation 13 the kingdom of the Beast and the same dragon with 7 heads and ten horns going out to persecute God’s Remnant people?

                I don’t want to be overly sensational here my friends, but I believe we may just be at this point in history. None of these signs in the heavens (As prophesied by Joel and Peter and Jesus) are going to happen again for hundreds or thousands or even millions of years. If these aren’t the signs that usher in the great and terrible day of the Lord, then what signs should we be looking for?

                The Bible says that some of these signs will occur again just prior to the return of the Lord, but they may not occur naturally as did the ones we have just witnessed. Instead they may occur because of smoke darkened skies that come as a result of wars and natural disasters. And if the blood moons and these other signs in the heavens are actually bringing on the prophesied Tribulation, which means that God created the entire Universe as a time clock for all of the major events of world history.

                So, in other words, if the tribulation begins in 2017-18 and the rapture doesn’t happen, then we will have to count on a pre-wrath rapture, which, by the way, is the only event that we are promised not to endure. If the rapture doesn’t happen at the beginning of this coming Tribulation then it will come roughly 3 ½ years later just prior to the wrath of God being poured out. And we can count on every major event from here on out, taking place on God’s appointed Feast Days.

                I am not trying to push my beliefs on anyone. Everyone is free to believe what they want. We don’t need to feel threatened if we see it differently than someone else and I’m sure that we will all have to adjust our prophecy charts many times when things begin to happen. My main plea is that we need to wake up and get honest with ourselves. We need to face reality as it really is and that means we may have to change our thinking on certain things without losing our absolute faith in God and in His Word.

                Paul said that we see in part and we know in part, so it would be foolish of us to think that we, any of us, just happen to have it all right. Prophecy unfolds like birth pangs and the events grow greater in intensity as the actual day of the birth approaches. Could it be that the birth described in Revelation 12 is now about to happen?

                We need to prepare our hearts for all eventualities. The delusions that are about to break upon us are so powerful that they will deceive if possible even the very elect. Many will fall away from the faith because Satan is about to introduce an entirely new system of “Truth” that will seem to render the Bible obsolete and outdated. He has been hiding evidence for hundreds of years and now he is going to bring it forth in support of his own claims.

                One of the great delusions that will soon strike is the ever more popular theory that ancient aliens created the human race. It will provide the perfect alibi for evolution and as proof, the Smithsonian Institute will produce thousands of artifacts that speak of ancient civilizations on earth, the giants that built the pyramids and many other unsolved mysteries. Much of the church will be taken aback by these revelations because they have treated the biblical stories of pre-flood Nephilim giants as fables. They will be left with no rebuttal for this overwhelming evidence. Many will fall away.

                If you don’t have a firm hold on the Truth of God’s Word, you will not be able to stand. We are on a crash course, not only to know the truth, but to live by the Spirit and not by the flesh.  The church has been taught to live in the flesh with one foot in the world and one in the kingdom, self-serving and self-directed. They no longer know how to endure hardship and persecution like the early church did.         

                We have been babied and fed only the milk of the Word. Even the foundational truths of the Gospel are now being softened or even removed. But the truth remains, “Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins. We have a cross to take up and a resurrection life to live and so few have gone that way. We no longer die to the world, we just add a little bit of Jesus. But that is not true Christianity and so what we have failed to do in times of ease, we will now have to do through blood and fire and columns of smoke.

                Our pastors are going to have to answer for the fact that they never taught their people about these things and they never prepared them for what is coming. The people’s blood will be on their hands and I, for one, am not willing to hold back any longer. Whatever God gives me to say, I will say it and let the chips fall where they will.

                Many of us have been lulled into sleep because our pastors have failed to be watchmen. They have ignored the prophetic agenda of God Almighty. They have failed their congregations. We have become Laodicea on their watch. Now God will either spit us out of His mouth, or counsel us to buy gold tried in the fire.

                If there is to be a rapture of any kind at the beginning of the tribulation, it will certainly not be a rapture of the entire visible church. It will only be made up of the Bride that has made herself ready for the marriage supper of the Lamb.

                We all have a lot of catching up to do and I pray that God will give us the grace to learn quickly. This is our wakeup call and we will soon find out if we have been wise or foolish. Bible prophecy is about to move from theory to reality.

                This is what I think and I may be wrong… and there are many prophecy teachers out there to tell you that we have plenty of time. They will even tell you that we might have a hundred years yet, but chances are, they know nothing of God’s appointed times. And chances are they consider most of Bible prophecy to be myth. Chances are they will tell you that the book of Revelation doesn’t even belong in the bible and was the babblings of a deluded old man. Chances are they will also tell you that the creation story was a myth as well and that many of the Bible characters were fictional.

                Believe what you want, but I believe that God’s Word is literally true from Genesis to Revelation. God, the same God who created the heavens and the earth, came to earth, born into human flesh and redeemed us by His blood and in Him is our salvation. And He is about to return. Are you ready? Selah.
