THE UNCHARTED TERRITORY

                Friends, I believe that we are heading into uncharted territory this fall… and by this I mean that it is uncharted in the experience of mankind. From God’s point of view, the future is not uncharted at all. He has spelled out the final events in great detail for those who are watching and praying.

                Given the multitude of signs in the heavens and on the earth, I can’t help but believe that we are entering a completely new phase, or dispensation. In 2011 Sadhu Selvarage announced that we had entered the specific dispensation of the time of the end and from that time on everything would follow the outlines of scripture with no further delays. 2011 was the year of the great Japanese earthquake and tsunami and the first year of the beginning of massive animal, fish and bird die-offs that has continued to increase exponentially to this very day. (Just to name a couple of signs.)

                Since 2011 we have continued to plunge at alarming speed into the signs of the end. We have undergone 7 years of decline in the world as chaos and war now loom on the horizon. But what most people don’t understand is that a thousand events are closing in on us as we approach the end of this 7 year period and given God’s many signs, and His principle of working in 7 year cycles as outlined by His Feasts… I believe that we may very well enter the tribulation this fall. Most people simply remain unaware of just how close we really are and I believe that sometime this fall it is all going to come crashing down upon us with a severity heretofore not seen in human history.

                The time to prepare for this is now. We need to be spiritually prepared for what comes next and I believe that it will coincide with the Fall Feasts. The feast of trumpets (Rosh Hashanah) will begin on the eve of Sept. 20 of this year. Many are looking for the rapture at that time, but the Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah) is also the announcement of the great tribulation, the” Day of the Lord.” Will we be raptured at that time or will we enter into the great day of the Lord? Either way we must be ready.

                From the feast of Trumpets until the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) there are ten days of awe. During this time Israel was ordered to fast and pray and to make sure that all of their sins from the past year were confessed. In their teaching, the books in heaven are opened at this time every year. All sins that had been confessed by the Day of Atonement would be stricken from the books, while all sins that had not been confessed would be carried on to the next year.

                IF we are at the time in history that I believe we are in, then these events will happen in reality. And this is why we need time to prepare for those ten days of awe coming up this September. We don’t want to be carrying unconfessed baggage into the tribulation thus stripping us of power and protection.

                The Secret Place of the Most High is not a magic amulet that we hang around our necks. It is only promised to those who dwell there.

                How many Christians do you hear glibly saying that when times get bad they are claiming Psalms 91 and yet they make no practice of dwelling there? They have no prayer life. They rarely crack a Bible. They maintain a secular world view and God forbid that they should ever study Bible prophecy… “After all, there have been so many false predictions… why even go there?”

                So in light of that, let me make it clear that I am not predicting that the Tribulation will occur this fall. I am not a prophet. What I am talking about here is the making of a perfect storm that may very well be the one that God speaks about in His Word. I AM ONLY GOING BY God’s predictive signs.

                For those who are watching, the pieces of the end time puzzle are fitting into place faster than we can keep up with them. With the huge numbers of animal die-offs, and crop failures along with draconian laws being passed and everything being put into place for global war and local martial law, we are headed into both a loss of freedom and famine on unprecedented scales. The main stream media doesn’t tell us anything about any of it because if they did, people would panic and turn to God and Satan doesn’t want them to do that.

                But when all of this hits the fan, I want to do more than to survive. Both the church and the world are going to desperately need prophets and divine healers and people who know their Bibles.

                Even in our prepping for hard times we tend to be “Me” centered. “God bless and protect me and mine.” But we need to think bigger than that. We need to pray, “God, make me a powerful agent in Your final harvest. Please equip me to be what people need when all hell breaks loose. Whatever it takes Lord, I give myself to You for that purpose. Humble me. Forgive me for the wasted years. Teach me how to live fully by Your Spirit. Teach me how to hear Your voice more directly. Open my eyes to the spiritual realm so that I can see the armies of heaven. You did it for Elisha; I believe you will do it for us.

                Teach us how to live by divine appointment just as Jesus did, so that we will minister exactly to those whom You have appointed for salvation, for healing, for deliverance, for assurance.

                It’s not about my power, but His power. It’s not about my survival, but about His harvest.

                Lord, teach us how to become mighty prayer warriors so that we can deliver our friends and families from the darkness. Equip us for the battle ahead.

                Concerning the last days, Joel prophesied of a time when God will pour out His Spirit upon all flesh and our sons and daughters will prophesy, and the old well dream dreams and the common people will be filled and empowered by the Holy Spirit for the final work of the harvest. But in conjunction with that specific time he also says that there will be signs in the sun, moon and stars BEFORE the great and awesome day of the Lord comes.

                In my next article I want to share with you just one of the many sets of signs that make me believe that we may actually be entering the Tribulation this fall. It will be entitled “Signs of His Coming.”

                When I share our experiences I don’t mean to imply that Bonnie and I are in any way special. We are just common people seeking answers to life’s mysteries and pressing in to know God and to be a part of His wonderful agenda. We want to be among the “all flesh” that receive the promise of God and who operate in His power in the harvest… and for this reason we are beginning to pray in earnest for our forever friends and family. We must all do this for each other. These last days are not just about me or even about us. It is about Jesus Christ and His desire to bring His family home… His family or more specifically His Bride will be clothed in white linen bright and clean. She will be without spot or wrinkle and that is the specific process I believe that we are entering into this fall. It is a process that is going to make us like no other generation in human history.  May we prepare our hearts in earnest. We are in this together, to support and to encourage one another as the day draws near.
